<p>This study is a qualitative research implementing sociolinguistics approach which aims to gain deeper insights on swearing words exploited in <em>Deadpool 2</em> movie by the main character of the film. Focusing on the analysis of types and functions of swearing words, the data of this study were taken in the form of utterances produced by Wade Wilson or Deadpool as the main character of the film containing swearing words. Using a conceptual framework of swearing words and their function proposed by Anderson &amp; Trudgill (1990) and classification theory of types of swearing words suggested by Battistellla (2005), the result of the analysis of this study finds out that the use of swearing words by a character in the film as directed by the director provides a unique way to understand the basic characteristic of the character. In the case of this study, Wade Wilson through the analysis of this research, despite having traumatic background and producing more swearing words than any other characters in the film, can be considered somewhat of a good person worthy of the titlle ‘superhero’.lin</p>

Shannon entropy is a basic characteristic of communications from the energetic point of view. Despite this fact, an expression for entropy as a function of the signal-to-noise ratio is still missing. In this paper, that shortage has been corrected first. Using that expression, lower bound for entropy has been investigated. We prove that such finite nonzero bound does not exist, therefore there is no theoretical limit for reduction of the effect of noise. The proof is valid for QAM modulation of arbitrary order.

In order to know whether a cooperative organization is really a cooperative in a true sense, it is necessary to first look at its identity. The identity of a cooperative is a basic characteristic inherent in a cooperative since its birth. It undergoes a very long and crystalline process of growth and maturity, thus placing the cooperative as a business entity that has a positioning for its members. Cooperatives operate in a space that is limited by their identity and by the rules that apply to free market players such as corporations. Cooperatives also play in a competitive market economy and also in an environment where market conditions sometimes do not apply. Therefore for cooperatives it is important to know where their position is at certain times in an effort to maintain and secure their identity, with the aim of maintaining their existence as a cooperative.

The main goal of the chapter is to present the basics of survey research that can be used in analyzes of sustainable development. The first part presents the measurement levels. The basic characteristic of every variable is its level of measurement. It implies the following analysis and available techniques. This part introduces four levels of measurements: nominal, ordinal, interval and ratio, showing their characteristics and examples. Then the focus is on the implications of a given level of measurement on the possibilities of the statistical analysis. The aim of the second chapter is to explain the foundations of preparing a questionnaire for the research on the issues related to sustainable development. An example of an organic food questionnaire is also provided. The third part presents considerations necessary for the sampling process. The main goal is to present the basic methods of calculating the minimum sample size, as well as the methods of its selection. This section presents the arguments for conducting the study on a sample rather than on the entire population, and also several formulas enabling the calculation of the minimum sample size. A discussion of the most important methods of selecting respondents to the sample—both random and non-random, can also be found here. The last two parts of this chapter, describe the ways of presenting the results of quantitative research. They describe first view of the variables including frequency distribution with charts, central tendency measures and cross-tabulation. Finally, the methods of presenting research results obtained on the basis of the Likert scale and other examples of data visualization schemes are presented.

Cadastral activities, in addition to describing a property for the purpose of cadastral- and rights registration, include an algorithmically complex determination of the sequence of actions necessary to solve the matter. Their result is not only some prepared documentation, but the fact of bringing the description of the real estate and rights to it in accordance with reality, provided that the task of the interested person is completed. The subtype of real estate includes objects that possess certain basic characteristic features and can have definite situational ones. The classification of real estate on the basis of these features provides an opportunity to compare and formalize the requirements for implementation of cadastral works of disparate regulatory legal acts. The field regulating land-and-property relations is modeled as a directed graph, the arcs of which are assigned a direction depending on the type of the initial and final vertices

This article analyzes the post-Covid image of the Other in the gastronomic aspect. The research is a continuation of complex studies on the construction of models of the Otherness and identification of alerting markers in the modern Internet space. The authors rely on the assumption that food culture is a basic characteristic, through which both self-identification and the definition of Otherness take place. From the researchers' point of view, the Other in the alimentary aspect appears as a subject whose food system is as extraordinary as possible in terms of "our" cultural patterns, which allows, according to the authors, to identify indicators of latent fear of the Other. By actualizing their curiosity about the Otherness through Internet queries, the subjects thereby signify their interest in obtaining additional information about the Other and their everyday practices. In this study, the authors, on the basis of the revealed internet queries, carry out an analysis of the typical markers of alimentary Otherness in the post-Covid period. The findings of this research allow the authors to compare the identified patterns with those that had been got in the pre-Covid period. It is noted that the fear of Other-Cannibal, almost absent in the 2019 analysis, has gained new actualisation in the Asian cluster of models based on the analysis of data for the 2020-2021 period. There is also a general actualisation of the alimentary component of the Otherness, caused, according to the authors, by the pandemic.

The values of molecular weight between nodes in cross-linked polyethylene obtained by the method of swelling and the method of determining the equilibrium modulus are considered. It has been shown that it is not possible to achieve uniform values of molecular weight between mesh points using these two methods. The ratio between the molecular weights located between the nodes of the network, it is proposed to call the "Shershnev coefficient".

In the context of the topic of the Competence-Based Approach in teaching Bulgarian language and Bulgarian literature, the current text is based on the understanding of the development of literary competence as a leading goal in the teacher’s work and the need to provide consistent reflection on the essence of the genre of the studied texts as a basic characteristic of the literary field. Taking into account the specifics of the theory of the genre and the ambiguity of some definitions, as well as some fundamental methodological principles, the suggested approach sees the work with the genre category in literature classes as an opportunity to problematize and to encourage a dialogue, to form and enrich the reading competences of contemporary students. The last part of the text defines general parameters of a possible methodological project on the topic of genre conventions and their connection with certain models of understanding and experiencing nature as a major theme in the world of fiction.

In order to develop a hermeneutic-phenomenological analysis of testimony, this essay will first argue that testimony is “said in many ways” without being homonymous and that contemporary epistemological approaches to testimony are not capable of accounting for all paradigmatic forms of testimony. Second, it is argued, following and extending the work of Paul Ricoeur, that by emphasizing the sense of engagement or Bezogenheit as a basic characteristic of testimony, we may find another approach to testimony that offers a phenomenological alternative to the observational model of witnessing and the accompanying conception of testimony as report. Third, this approach is further developed and analyzed in terms of the four elements of testimony, namely, subject matter, witness, act of testifying, and addressee.
