According to the existing literature, the existing engineering ideological and political curriculum distance education system has the problems of long response time and few concurrent users, which cannot meet the development needs of the professional talents of electronic engineering. Therefore, the design and research of the long-distance education system of the ideological and political course of electronic engineering specialty dependent on big data is proposed. Based on the analysis of the demand of distance education system, the overall structure of the distance education system is designed. The design of the system business functions mainly includes login verification module design, instant communication module design, online classroom module design, video answer module design and video back-view module design, and design the server cluster load balancing strategy according to big data technology, so as to realize the operation of the remote education system of the ideological and political courses of electronic engineering. The design system is shorter than response time while compared with existing system. and the number of users is more. It is fully proved that the design system has better application performance.

The education community, accustomed to the face-to-face education system, had to switch to the distance education system with the COVID-19 pandemic. It was inevitable for educators who had not experienced distance education to prepare themselves in a short time and to complete the process with the least damage. Of course, there were many negativities during distance education and the whole world gained certain experiences during this time. In this study, the problems experienced by the academic staff using distance education applications, their approaches to distance education, how much they have improved themselves in other possible problems in the future, and what they expect from distance education have been examined. Thematic analysis was used as a research design; articles, theses, books, reports of official institutions and organizations were examined; and the concepts that emerged during distance education applications were divided according to categories by using descriptive and thematic analysis.

Abstract The computer distance teaching system teaches through the network, and there is no entrance threshold. Any student who is willing to study can log in to the network computer distance teaching system for study at any free time. Neural network has a strong self-learning ability and is an important part of artificial intelligence research. Based on this study, a neural network-embedded architecture based on shared memory and bus structure is proposed. By looking for an alternative method of exp function to improve the speed of radial basis function algorithm, and then by analyzing the judgment conditions in the main loop during the algorithm process, these judgment conditions are modified conditionally to reduce the calculation scale, which can double the speed of the algorithm. Finally, this article verifies the function, performance, and interface of the computer distance education system.

E-learning in mathematics education can be an approach that could provide much better learning environments in the pandemic. The COVID-19 cases have started to increase social anxiety and anxiety in many countries around the world. The current COVID-19 pandemic, which affects all countries, causes problems in economic and social fields, especially in education. The rapid growth of information communication technologies has led to the development and spread of the distance education system. Due to COVID-19, teachers and academics had to learn methods of teaching students using online resources, social media technology, and e-learning activities more effectively. The main purpose of this study is to collect students' views on distance education in mathematics lectures. This study will assist the planning and execution of the distance education carried out in universities during the COVID-19 outbreak. The population of this current study includes college students in a private university. The sample consists of 596 university students.

COVID-19 prompted to transform the traditional education system into a distance education system and using technological tools, including educational platforms. online learning platforms play an important role in modern education. The objective of the research is to explore the degree of using platforms by the faculty members at Al-Aqsa University, and to highlight the difficulties they face when using platforms .To achieve the research objective, ​followed the qualitative and quantitative method. The instruments of the research were a semi-structured interview included the important difficulties the faculty members faced inusing platforms , and a questionnaire included the most important skills to use platforms. The results revealed that participants agreed on the most important obstacle of using educational platforms, the difficulty of access to the internet. The results of the survey indicated that the use of e-platform skills is high. The results of this study help decision-makers to plan, evaluate and implement online learning platforms in their institutions

This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of using distance learning in light of the Corona pandemic from the point of view of the principals of Irbid schools. A paragraph divided into three areas: 1) Continuity of using distance education in light of the Corona pandemic. 2) Obstacles to using distance education in light of the Corona pandemic. 3) The desired level of distance education. The results of the study came in varying degrees: medium, high The results of the study also showed the effectiveness of the use of distance education in light of the Corona pandemic to a high degree, and the reason is that the Ministry of Education relied on the infrastructure well. Also, the continuity of the distance education process in light of the Corona pandemic came to a high degree, due to the Ministry of Education’s adoption of advance and reliable software, and the focus of teachers on social media. Moreover, the obstacles to using distance education in light of the Corona pandemic came to a high degree due to the lack of pre- prepared educational software Also, the hoped- for level of distance education in light of the Corona pandemic in the schools of Irbid Governorate ranged between a medium degree and a high degree. This result is attributed to some teachers who do not have the ability to control students’ implementation of the tests, and the interaction of teachers and students is governed by the continuous availability of Internet service. The study recommended the need to take into account the abilities and characteristics of students, the capabilities of parents and their educational level before preparing and implementing any distance education study plans, and the need to direct the departments of the Ministry of Education to the importance of developing a plan to train teachers on the distance education system in terms of the techniques used, communication tools, and their importance in This system.

A new process has been brought about due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected the world. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, since the spring semester of the 2019–2020 academic year, all education and courses are provided through distance education. Therefore, since distance education is a new process for many, faculty members may encounter various problems. For this reason, deter-mining the views of lecturers about the distance education process is important for the improvement and development of the distance education system. The aim of this study is to examine the views of the lecturers who teach through the dis-tance education system and to make suggestions for the improvement of the sys-tem. The situation was determined using the qualitative research method. The re-search questions were prepared by the researchers. Their validity was ensured by taking experts’ opinions. For this purpose, interviews with semi-structured ques-tions were conducted with 28 instructors at Cyprus and Russian universities and the data obtained were evaluated by content analysis. The findings obtained as a result of the research are given in detail in the findings and results section.

This work aims to divulge the volunteering experiences within humanitarian projects development from Universidad del Zulia SIGHT affinity group in Venezuela. At first, “Una mano por tu Facultad” project carried out in 2019 is described, which had the active participation of volunteers from the RE-IEEE-LUZ student branch and the SIGHT-LUZ affinity group and resulted in the recovery of twenty-six (26) classrooms and four (4) laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering. Furthermore, a new project is underway in response to COVID-19, which is focused on a distance education system using funds approved by the Humanitarian Activities Committee (HAC) and the Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) of the Institute of Engineers Electrical and Electronic (IEEE). This group has the objective of bringing technologies-based solutions to problems existing in local communities in the Zulia State, Venezuela.

Abstrak Memasuki era 4.0, segala sektor dalam aktivitas kehidupan sudah mulai terdigitalisasi, begitupun yang terjadi dalam sektor pendidikan. Selain itu kondisi Pandemi COVID-19 mewajibkan aktivitas pembelajaran dilakukan di rumah. Hal tersebut tentunya menuntut peran teknologi digital untuk mendukung sistem pendidikan jarak jauh atau yang lebih dikenal PJJ. Namun dalam penerepan sistem pendidikan jarak jauh tentunya tidak mudah dan banyak hal yang menjadi kendala-kendala dalam sistem pembelajaran tersebut, hal ini disebabkan beberapa hal antara lain kesiapan guru dan siswa menghadapi proses pembelajaran yang berbeda dari sebelumnya dan juga model dari desain pembelajaran yang tentunya perlu di sesuaikan agar hasil dari pembelajaran dapat tetap maksimal. Tentunya banyak alternatif model pembelajaran dalam sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh, salah satu yang dapat diterapkan pada situasi saat ini ialah Model Flex blanded learning. Abstract Entering the 4.0 era, all sectors in life activities have begun to be digitized, as has happened in the education sector. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic condition requires learning activities to be carried out at home. This of course demands the role of digital technology to support the distance education system or better known as PJJ. However, in implementing the distance education system, it is certainly not easy and many things become obstacles in the learning system, this is due to several things, including the readiness of teachers and students to face a different learning process than before and also the model of learning design which of course needs to be implemented. adjusted so that the results of learning can remain maximal. Of course, there are many alternative learning models in distance learning systems, one of which can be applied to the current situation is the Flex blended learning model.

This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of distance education in light of the spread of the Corona virus From the teachers' point of view in the northeastern Badia schools, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was adopted, and the study sample consisted of (150) teachers' in the northeastern Badia schools; who taught during the spread of Coronavirus through the distance education system, and the necessary data were collected using a questionnaire whose reliability factor was (0.825) and was applied to the study sample. The results of the study revealed that the study sample's evaluation of the effectiveness of distance education in light of the spread of the Coronavirus from their point of view was average, and their evaluation was of the field of continuity of distance education, the field of obstacles to the use of distance education, the field of interaction of faculty members with distance education, and the field of interaction of students in using Distance education is medium, and the researcher recommended holding training courses for students, teachers and administrators for programs and applications related to distance education, in addition to workshops to train them on distance education tools and strategies, and the need to combine face education and distance education in educational institutions in the future, and provide self- learning materials. For students who are not benefiting from the educational platforms due to the unavailability of the Internet or because of the power outage.
