In this study, we considered the reverse causality of the technology acceptance model, specifically in the post-COVID-19 scenario. We propose a theoretical model that considers the impact of technology acceptance behaviors after COVID-19 over the beliefs of a user in terms of perceived ease of using technology and its usefulness. More specifically, we suggested that acceptance of technology post-COVID-19 may have influenced many technology-related individual factors such as computer efficacy, mastery experience, and self-regulated learning of users, while using technology that in turn may have affected beliefs of users about ease of using technology. Such an effect is ultimately reflected in the belief of technology usefulness and favorable post-COVID-19 attitude of users toward using technology. We further extend our model to identify mastery orientation of individuals that may moderate the relationship between technology acceptance behaviors and favorable attitude toward using technology in the post-COVID-19 scenario. Both practical and theoretical implications of this perspective are discussed.

Recently information technology is one of the vital elements in human daily activity supports. One example of information technology measurement is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which is an information system that shows how users come to accept and use the technology. Usefulness and Ease of Use are the main reasons that would predispose a person to use such technology. The TAM is also applied to the use of Internet Banking, but there are some more factors that will affect the Behavior Intention in using the Internet Banking including Risk and Trust. The aim of this study is to prove the hypothesis of the variables that affect the Behavior Intention. Research variables were measured using a questionnaire that is processed with SPSS software. The results showed that the four variables studied positive influence on Behavior Intention in the use of Internet Banking.

The production of aquaculture products still needs to be increased to match marine products. One of the problems that cause cultivation fishery production is not optimal is that it has not utilized modern technology. Cultivators still use traditional methods and technologies in cultivation. One of the contemporary technologies that can support aquaculture is Automation Technology and the Internet of Things (IoT). This research will develop an IoT-based technology, which is a system to help fish maintenance management. This system is based on a static robot that will monitor the condition of pond water quality and feed the fish automatically, which can be controlled remotely by adopting an IoT architecture.Furthermore, an evaluation of cultivators/farmers regarding Adopting Intention (AI) of this technology. The evaluation model adopted the model proposed by (Kao et al., 2019). This model explores the direct influence of perceived usability, performance expectations, perceived technology usefulness, network externality, user creativity, and domain-specific information on intent and their indirect impact on user behavior.

The technology usefulness are very important especially on the transportation industry. Watertransportation still important in Bali. This kind of transportation very useful to help tourist orlocals reach the remote island like Nusa Penida or Nusa Lembongan. In Bali also known asfastboat. This one very popular to use to visit Nusa Penida, one of the small islands in the eastof Bali. But the conditions today, everyone who wants to go to Nusa Penida, always take offastboat transportation, by buying fastboat tickets on Sanur Beach, Kusamba Beach orPadang Bai Harbour. Tourists who come to Bali also do the same thing if they want to go toNusa Penida. tourists still have to use social media to search for fastboat tickets and book viachat application. In addition, there are also those who are looking for boat tickets bycontacting one by one the existing boat operators either by telephone, or whatsapp shortmessage. This condition is a problem because tourists and people who want to go there mustspend time longer. In addition, there is still potential for crime through social media, forexample selling fake fastboat tickets by unofficial agents. because not all boat ticket sellersare partner with existing official fastboat operators. This study aims to examine the usefulnessor usability of android mobile applications for online booking of fastboat tickets from Bali toNusa Penida or return. In addition, this research has succeeded in building applications thatcan facilitate users to compare boat ticket prices and can order at once on the same platform. This usability test contains 5 aspects of usability: learnability, efficiency of use, memorability, error and satisfaction. The usability test results in this application showed 83.3% stated theease of use of the application login that contained aspects of efficiency of use, memorabilityand satisfaction.

The business competition in the digital era is tighter and drives the entrepreneurs to optimize their efforts to win the game. Facebook ads as one of the biggest social marketing media provided a new technology called pixel which replacing conversion tracking pixel on February 15, 2017, for advertisers' advantages. The purpose of this study was to examine the factors influencing the usage of the pixel by the advertisers. This study adopted technology acceptance model (TAM) as a research framework and test it using structural equation modeling. One hundred and eighteen Facebook advertisers from Indonesia which are targeted by custom Facebook ads participated in this study. The findings of this study suggest that the attitude and perceived usefulness of the pixel significantly influence the behavioral intention of the advertisers on using the pixel. The research revealed that the perceived usefulness of the pixel is significantly influenced by the perceived ease of using the pixel. The results of this study will be useful for the Facebook as the provider to improve the technology usefulness and its user interfaces for its effective and efficient use for the Indonesian advertisers. Keywords: pixel, Facebook ads, technology acceptance model

This study explores students’ acceptance of e-learning technology in Jordanian higher educational institutions. A paucity of studies that were conducted in individual institutions indicated that different cultural perspectives and resistance to change are overlaying the wide adoption of e-learning and influencing users’ perceptions pertaining the technology usefulness and/or ease of use. Our study utilises the technology acceptance model (TAM) and explores the influence of the main antecedents of accepting this technology from users’ perspectives, that is, perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEU) in order to reveal the country’s readiness to adopt this technology and move from individual innovations to institutional standards. The results obtained using a survey-based methodology from three main public and private institutions distributed in multiple geographical areas show that the actual behaviour of usage is influenced by behavioural intention (BI), which is directed by PU, PEU, and attitude. Based on these results, multiple recommendations pertaining to cultural perspectives and educational institutions readiness are proposed and implications of the study are discussed.

This article provides a brief review of one e-collaboration technology-task fit theory, and argues that it focuses (like most technology-task fit theories) on what can be accomplished through tasks, as opposed to what cannot—that is, the tasks’ constraints. The article also argues that task constraints are important explanatory and predictive elements, illustrating that point through an example of a car racing team that employs text-based instant messaging for communication between pilots and support team during races.

ABSTRACT: Individuals’ technology use decisions are critical to the success of information technology in an organizational context. We investigate the influence of process accountability on individual professionals’ intended and actual use of a familiar technology in decision-making tasks directly related to their work role by anchoring in the core constructs of the technology acceptance model (TAM). Our focus differs from traditional initial user acceptance research in that participants have considerable knowledge about and experience with the focal technology. According to results from an experiment involving 130 participants, process accountability has a significant, positive effect on perceived technology usefulness, intention to use, and actual technology use. Further analyses show that perceived technology usefulness mediates the accountability-intention relationship and intention to use mediates the accountability-actual use relationship. By incorporating process accountability into the TAM and empirically testing its effects, we shed light on the causal link between process accountability and people’s perceptions of a familiar technology’s usefulness, as well as their intentions and actual use of the technology. Our findings show that process accountability, a source of extrinsic motivation commonly found in business work contexts, has important effects on people’s decisions to use a familiar technology in work-related decision-making tasks. We extend user technology acceptance research by connecting motivation theories, cognitive information processing, and user technology acceptance, particularly in scenarios that involve voluntary use of familiar technology, and the requirement to justify the procedure used for deriving a decision or completing a problem-solving task. Our findings have several important implications for technology acceptance decisions and management practice.
