The increase in the number of elderly indicates an increase in life expectancy. The increasing elderly population reflects an increase in health services. The application of caring by nurses in the community has not been explained. Caring is the basis for nurses to be able to analyse nursing actions that are carried out properly and appropriately for clients who are a reference in follow-up care. The literature search in this study was carried out by identifying all types of national and international articles regarding Caring for Community Nurses and the readiness of families to receive further therapy information. The electronic database used is PubMed, Springer, and Google Scholar with a search strategy using the PICO (patient, intervention, comparison and outcome) method. Participants revealed that caring is an attitude of empathy, caring for the patient's needs, providing nursing care not only when the patient comes to the public health centre, but also when the nurse does home care. Participants expressed caring behaviours such as empathy, being friendly to patients who came to the treatment centre, caring about patient needs, making patient home visits, paying attention to the health that needs by patients. Caring for community nurses as an effort to improve the performance of community nurses in providing nursing services to the elderly so as to create integrated and comprehensive care for the elderly. The increasing relationship between patients and nurses that are established in a professional manner, helped participants get to know the many patients who came for treatment at the Public health centre.

Background: The infant and neonatal mortality rate in Depok City is still high, with low birth weight (LBW) and premature births being one of the main causes. In 2018, 14 out of 41 cases of early neonatal death were due to LBW. Studies show that Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) can prevent or reduce LBW deaths caused by hypothermia, but the implementation is still not evenly distributed. Objective: Describe KMC feasibility as a supporting material for a KMC policy umbrella at Depok City. Method: Qualitative research was conducted with a Rapid Assessment Procedure (RAP) design. A total of 56 informants were divided into 8 discussion groups, 7 in-depth interviews and 2 Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The types of informants were families and inter-sectoral officers. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data. Results: KMC implementation feasibility in Depok City in terms of facilities and infrastructure was still limited and the quality was insufficient. The number of human resources was still limited, and the competency was still not evenly distributed. LBW family readiness can be maintained if provided with complete and accurate knowledge; therefore, a strong commitment may develop to continue KMC at home. The potential sources of KMC financing are found at health facilities and inter-sectoral; however, to use it, a legal umbrella at the city district level is necessary. Conclusions: The factors of potential financing sources need to be followed up into a priority. This is to overcome the constraints of KMC feasibility implementation.

Background: Children with acquired brain injury experience participation restrictions. Pathways and Resources for Engagement and Participation (PREP) is an innovative, participation focused intervention. Studies have examined PREP in Canadian research contexts, however little is known about implementation in real-life clinical settings. This study aimed to understand experiences of clinicians implementing PREP in a UK clinical context, with a focus on implementation processes and key factors for successful implementation. Methods: A qualitative single-site 8-week knowledge translation intervention study, guided by an action research framework, explored clinicians’ experiences of implementation. Six occupational therapists (OTs) working in a neurorehabilitation setting participated. The therapists provided two intervention sessions per week, over four weeks for one child on their caseload. Planning, implementation and evaluation were explored through two focus groups. Thematic analysis was used to analyse data. Results: Two themes, “key ingredients before you start” and “PREP guides the journey”, were identified before introducing PREP to practice. Four additional themes were related to PREP implementation: “shifting to a participation perspective”, “participation moves beyond the OT”, “environmental challengers and remedies” and “whole family readiness”. A participation ripple effect was observed by building capacity across the multi-disciplinary team and families. The involvement of peers, social opportunities and acknowledging family readiness were key factors for successful implementation. Conclusions: The findings illustrate practical guidance to facilitate the uptake of participation-based evidence in clinical practice. Further research is required to understand aspects of knowledge translation when implementing participation interventions in other UK clinical settings.

The article is devoted to the problem of scientific substantiation of the family as a collective subject of designing the individual educational trajectory of a child. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the readiness to design an individual educa-tional trajectory of a child as an integrative characteristic of a child-adult co-existence community of a family. The deficiencies of the modern family, which hinder the devel-opment of this readiness, are characterized. The aspects of studying family readiness presented in modern studies are considered. It is shown that readiness as an integrative characteristic of a family acting as a subject of education has not been sufficiently studied. The definition of the family's readiness to design an individual educational trajectory of a child is given. The content of the structural components of this integrative characteristic of the family is revealed. It is shown that this readiness is characterized by value-semantic orientations towards education, the methods of subject-subject child-adult interactions available in the family's arsenal, implemented in joint creative activity, regulatory and reflexive abilities that allow assessing the individual educational achievements of a child. It is shown that the main obstacles to the formation of a family's readiness to design an individual educational trajectory of a child are the parents' desire for total control, designed by the desire to achieve high educational results without taking into account the individual characteristics and interests of the child; dominance of parents in choosing the content of joint activities with children; orientation towards external assessment of the achieved formal educational results.
