The article examines modern state and prospects of the development of organic market in the context of rationalization of the available natural-resource potential of Ukraine. Basing on the analysis of key organic production indicators it is relevant to conclude that during last year’s there is stable positive dynamics in growing of the area of farmlands that take part in the certified reduced production. Due to the improvement of the organic production recycling the level of organic production consuming and number of certified manufacturers have significantly increased. Consumers of Ukrainian organic production are predominantly the EU countries. Ukraine is interested in the organic market development and there are inevitable resources that can be found in every region of the country. We have characterized the legal principles that enable the organic market and the establishing of relation that are linked to the organic production development which are regulated by the Law of Ukraine and other legislative acts that are related to the issue. Basing on the data of the article and estimation of the organic production consuming level in Ukraine in 2010-2019 there were evaluated forecast indicators of the Ukrainian organic market capacity until 2023.

This study is based on a comprehensive analysis of high-tech production as an economic phenomenon. The article on “Theoretical and practical aspects of high-tech production development” reveals the main approaches to the definition of a high-tech complex, a high-tech sector, a high-tech industry, and high-tech products. The article focuses on the allocation of industries according to the level of manufacturability, and describes the main development trends of the following high-tech sectors of the Russian economy: pharmaceuticals, power engineering, production of medical equipment, civil aviation and information technology sector. The key purpose of the study is to research theoretical and practical aspects of high-tech production development. To achieve the purpose, it is necessary: to consider the main approaches to the definition of high-tech production, to disclose the problem of determining the industries by the level of manufacturability, to describe the development of high-tech sectors in the Russian economy. The scientific novelty of the work lies in a number of unknown and little known facts, as well as in the development of theoretical provisions on the issue of defining high-tech production and selecting industries by the level of technology, and in the analysis of the development of key indicators of some high-tech industries. The research is based on the articles of foreign and Russian authors, various Internet resources, analytical materials prepared by the Higher School of Economics, as well as statistical compilations presented on the website of the Federal State Statistics Service.

The increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia in mid-2021 around June brought increasing adverse effects, one of which was the ongoing economic crisis. This is certainly a problem for SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Indonesia, among others, such as marketing activities, production development, distribution between consumers are all affected. This community service activity aims to improve the skills and productivity of residents in supporting community entrepreneurial activities in RW 01 Pringtutul Hamlet, Barepan Village. So far, buying and selling activities in the market are not allowed to reduce cases of the spread of COVID-1. Conditions like this force every person to be able to survive in these limited conditions. One thing that can be done is to become a productive human being, even though you are in your own environment as well as at home. This service activity is carried out through counseling and mentoring methods with practice in making mask connectors and decorating bags/tote bags with the "Tie Dye" technique. The participation and enthusiasm of the residents of RW 01 in Pringtutul Hamlet, Barepan Village in participating in a series of activities was very good and active to ask questions and try to do everything that was taught in the training on making connectors and decorating bags/tote bags. The implementation is also carried out by implementing health protocols, namely by not gathering many people, washing hands, using masks and using hand sanitizer. The impact of this service activity is being able to increase creativity, insight and support entrepreneurial activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eradication programs for the boll weevil, Anthonomus grandis grandis Boheman (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), rely almost exclusively on pheromone traps to indicate the need for insecticide applications. However, the effectiveness of traps in detecting weevil populations is reduced during certain times of the year, particularly when cotton is actively fruiting. Consequently, this could result in fields becoming heavily infested with weevils. It is widely speculated that the lack of weevil captures in traps during this period is largely due to the overwhelming amount of pheromone released by weevils in the field, which outcompete the pheromone released from traps. Thus, this work sought to identify genes involved in pheromone production so that new control methods that target these genes can be explored. We conducted an RNA-seq experiment that revealed 2479 differentially expressed genes between pheromone-producing and non-pheromone-producing boll weevils. Of those genes, 1234 were up-regulated, and 1515 were down-regulated, and most had gene annotations associated with pheromone production, development, or immunity. This work advances our understanding of boll weevil pheromone production and brings us one step closer to developing gene-level control strategies for this cotton pest.
