Abstract As the only eclipsing asynchronous polar, V1432 Aql provides an excellent laboratory to study the interaction between the accreted matter and the magnetic field. Here, we report an analysis of the X-ray data from the contemporaneous NuSTAR and Swift-XRT observations. The X-ray data present a profile with a low-intensity state for almost half an orbital period, a dip at 0.6 phase, and a peak at 0.75 phase, which suggests that there was only one accretion region during the observation and the claim is supported by the spectral analysis. The comparison with the previous data indicates that the X-ray data have an orbital modulation, as the case in BeppoSAX, rather than a spin one observed in ROSAT. We attribute the orbit and spin modulations to the different accretion geometries at work. The spectral analysis of the wide-band data presents a significant reflection effect, a commonly observed soft X-ray temperature, and the energy balance in V1432 Aql. Additionally, we obtained a low total accretion rate of 1.3 × 10−10 M ⊙ yr−1 and a high specific accretion rate of 3.8 g cm−2 s−1 which explains the strong reflection from the surface of the white dwarf. However, due to its complex emission, a more physical understanding of its accretion geometry is still outstanding.

The growth and development of child is a strong reflection of country's growth and development. Being most vulnerable segment of the society the preschoolers are at greatest risk of malnutrition for it is their growing period that demands high intake of protein and calories. To find out the prevalence of undernutrition among 1-5 years children in Urban Ballari. This is a cross-sectional study conducted from January 2018 to June 2018 which included 700 children in the age group of 1-5 years residing in Ballari urban. Of total 700 study subjects, boys constituted 49.7% and girls 50.3%. The overall prevalence of under nutrition among the study subjects based on weight for age parameter was found to be 40.6%. (Normal- 59.4%, Moderate under nutrition- 22%, Severe under nutrition - 18.6%). Prevalence of stunting and wasting was 43.2% and 23.9% respectively. The result of the study is indicative of high prevalence of undernutrition among children in the age group of 1-5 years in Ballari City.

This cognitive semantic corpus-based study attempts to outline the biological and social role/s regarding the face in the Hijazi Dialect of Arabic (HDA). The aim is to check the embodied conceptualization in relation to the kinds of emotions, character qualities, and cultural values (Maalej and Yu, 2011) that Hijazi face idioms represent in the conceptual system of HDA-speakers. This paper uses the theoretical framework of the Conceptual Theory of Metaphor and Metonymy (CTMM) (Lakoff & Johnson (1980), Lakoff (1987), and Kövecses (2002)) in analyzing the specific cognitive structures (i.e. conceptual metaphor/s, conceptual metonym/ies, image schema/s) that are thought to be implemented in the conceptual system of those speakers. It also agrees and incorporates Kövescses (2002), Maalej (2004), and Yu's (2009) views on the importance of experience, embodiment, and culture when analyzing idioms to dig beneath what appears on the surface in the form of idiomatic expressions referred by Yu (2002) as the "tip of the iceberg". Representing a rather conservative society, face is seen as a strong reflection of the culture and values embedded in the Hijaz.

For an arbitrary forcing class [Formula: see text], the [Formula: see text]-fragment of Todorčević’s strong reflection principle SRP is isolated in such a way that (1) the forcing axiom for [Formula: see text] implies the [Formula: see text]-fragment of SRP , (2) the stationary set preserving fragment of SRP is the full principle SRP , and (3) the subcomplete fragment of SRP implies the major consequences of the subcomplete forcing axiom. This fragment of SRP is consistent with CH , and even with Jensen’s principle [Formula: see text]. Along the way, some hitherto unknown effects of (the subcomplete fragment of) SRP on mutual stationarity are explored, and some limitations to the extent to which fragments of SRP may capture the effects of their corresponding forcing axioms are established.

This work addresses one-dimensional evolution of a collisionless plasma next to a solid surface that is immersed into the plasma instantaneously. In particular, we consider how the self-similar rarefaction wave (Allen & Andrews, J. Plasma Phys., vol. 4, 1970, pp. 187–194) establishes dynamically and how the electron reflection from the surface modifies the structure of the rarefaction wave and the Debye sheath. We demonstrate that a sufficiently strong reflection eliminates the Debye sheath and changes the wall potential and the plasma flow parameters significantly. The paper presents numerical results that illustrate the developed analytical theory.

Abstract Based on seismic, geological, logging and mud logging data, the seismic reflection, electrical, sedimentary and production characteristics of Tongbomiao formation and Nantun formation in a depression are compared, and a set of horizons above Tongbomiao formation in a depression are studied. The results show that the original Tongbomiao formation is actually the fourth oil formation of the first member of Nantun Formation. It is a slope fan sedimentary system overlying the Tongbomiao formation and is a lithologic reservoir. This set of strata is mainly distributed in the steep slope break zone of the basement uplift area. Because it is the same strong reflection axis as Tongbomiao strata in the earthquake, it is difficult to distinguish them. It has been mistaken for Tongbomiao strata for a long time. The re-recognition of this set of reservoirs is of great significance for searching for lithologic reservoirs, tapping the remaining potential of the developed fault block structures at low positions and improving the effect of water injection development.

ABSTRACT EPIC 216747137 is a new HW Virginis system discovered by the Kepler spacecraft during its K2 ‘second life’. Like the other HW Vir systems, EPIC 216747137 is a post-common-envelope eclipsing binary consisting of a hot subluminous star and a cool low-mass companion. The short orbital period of 3.87 h produces a strong reflection effect from the secondary (∼9 per cent in the R band). Together with AA Dor and V1828 Aql, EPIC 216747137 belongs to a small subgroup of HW Vir systems with a hot evolved sdOB primary. We find the following atmospheric parameters for the hot component: Teff = 40400 ± 1000 K, log g = 5.56 ± 0.06, and log(N(He)/N(H)) = −2.59 ± 0.05. The sdOB rotational velocity v sin  i = 51 ± 10 km s−1 implies that the stellar rotation is slower than the orbital revolution and the system is not synchronized. When we combine photometric and spectroscopic results with the Gaia parallax, the best solution for the system corresponds to a primary with a mass of about 0.62 M⊙ close to, and likely beyond, the central helium exhaustion, while the cool M-dwarf companion has a mass of about 0.11 M⊙.

The growth of technology and change of lifestyle has led to the enormous growth of the food delivery services in the recent times. Food ordering through online is the way of ordering customers preferred food by using website of the restaurant or food delivery apps[14] One out of every four customer makes use of a food ordering app in their mobile which was revealed in recent study. Online food delivery created a new wave in the Indian food industry. Ordering food through online has created a strong reflection in people’s mind and multiple factors are attracted which includes purchase power of the people, awareness about upcoming trends, various payment options, widespread of internet access and offers and discount provided by the companies. The Delivery employees at startups such as Swiggy, Zomato and uber are earning good income by doing delivery of goods. In spite of salary the employees working in this sector are facing lot of problems and it leads to job stress. The job stress and insecurity of employees working in food delivery service has been considered for the study. Convenience sampling method has been used to collect data from 150 employees. The result reveals that working hours is the important factor which leads to stress.
