The aim of the article is to study such a design phenomenon as «zine» in terms of etymology of the name and its synonymous variability in English and Ukrainian. The main attention is paid to the ordering and systematization of the chronology of the formation of zine culture in Ukraine and America from the first carriers of the idea of distribution of limited editions to the present day. The development of zine culture in these regions took place in parallel with the acquisition of originality, depending on the socio-cultural situation and technological progress. Adherence to the set goal involves the study of the possibilities of using zines in society, in particular in modern Ukraine. Currently, samizdat has integrated into a new culture and is becoming part of contemporary art and literature. Research methodology. To carry out this study, the method of analysis, comparison and generalization of the documentation of the development of zine culture and its scientific analysis was used. Scientific novelty. The article reviews the parallel formation of zine culture in Ukraine and America. Based on the analysis of different points of view on the stages of development of zines and significant events that influenced it, the author’s chronology is proposed, structured according to three criteria – purpose and content, technical progress, institutionalization of zine culture. Conclusions. The article provides an overview of the historical background of the origin of the terms «zine» and «samizdat», which revealed the semantic similarity of the terms «zine» and «magazine». At the same time, the unique properties of zine as an object with permission for authentic (uncensored) expression, free from commerce, independent of common aesthetic, linguistic and spelling standards, full of unique ability to broadcast creativity and innovation, become apparent. Zine has been found to be a recognized category of publications that a number of scholars and practitioners have sought to single out as an independent form of design. The Zines draw on a long history of independent, alternative, and sometimes radical publications that began long before the first Zines appeared in the 1930s. Over the past century, they have evolved with the communities that produced them and the new technologies that have become available.

The article examines the graphic styles that have arisen in the video game industry due to the technical features and development of this media. These styles are widely used and starting to go beyond the industry into the field of contemporary art. Despite the fact that pixel art is mainly used in the creation of video games, it has already become an independent form of visual style. Contemporary artists such as the Russian digital artist and designer under the pseudonym Uno Morales and the artist Natalya Struchkova turn to the pixel style when creating their works. Like the pixel art, voxel graphics has moved into the category of the game visual style, which employs an impressive community of digital artists. Low рoly graphics have modified from the main graphics of three-dimensional games, which look technically imperfect, into the category of an artistic style that forms a recognizable, attractive and unique geometric aesthetics of the image. We can trace the transformation of video game graphics, which have arisen as a result of technical constraints, into separate art styles: pixel art, voxel art, low рoly style, the minimalist style of the first classic video games. These styles are gradually becoming an independent visual unit that does not depend on the video game product as a whole.

This paper presents modeling and infinite-time suboptimal control of a quadcopter device using the state-dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) method. It establishes a solution to the control problem using SDRE and proposes a new procedure for solving the problem. As a new contribution, the paper proposes a modified SDRE-based suboptimal control technique for affine nonlinear systems. The method uses a pseudolinearization of the closed-loop system employing Moore–Penrose pseudoinverse. Then, the algebraic Riccati equation (ARE), related to the feedback compensator gain, is reduced to state-independent form, and the solution can be computed only once in the whole control process. The ARE equation is applied to the problem reported in this study that provides general formulation and stability analysis. The effectiveness of the proposed control technique is demonstrated through the use of simulation results for a quadrotor device.

This Thesis focuses on the experience of being human as process in order to reveal being. Illness and health are seen as reflections of this process of revelation. This work argues that health and illness are physical expressions of consciousness and therefore an outcome of what a human being has thought. In this way, this work shows how thought/intent serves to create life in the moment. In this understanding lies the potential to change reality, to change life. The Thesis identifies self-responsibility as the key to changing consciousness. Taking responsibility for the creation of one's reality eliminates the human tendency to blame another for what is experienced in life. To that end, this work argues, we are each free to choose what is felt in response to life. In so doing, we can become conscious that life is a choice approached from either the position of perfection, or excellence. This work argues that as human beings we have grounded thinking in perfection. In this playing out of rights and wrongs, an independent form of surrender, the outcome is the reification of the thought that we are separate from God. I think, therefore I Am. Such thinking it is argued, is the basis of disease and thus illness is an outcome of thought that as experience has been judged. The thesis develops the position that human beings approach life from the position of perfection thereby creating an appraisal from the outcome of life's experiences. Excellence as a state of being creates the appraisal from the effort of an outcome. Thus excellence, is to experience life as an Isness, and then make a conscious choice to feel love. Perfection makes a judgement about life, and so pronounce life and therefore thinking as good and bad, or right and wrong. In the understanding that human beings are the creators of their reality, it is possible to conceive of care in nursing that is directed at changing thinking/thought. Such change would be to focus on the excellence of life, and in that way enact care in nursing that is an enabling through a process of being that is an emotional allowance in response to life. To this end, this work is titled Nursing as an Aesthetic Praxis. The aesthetic is emotion and feeling. Praxis, is presented in its dialectical relationship of thought and action that is then bound to emotion and feeling in such a way that it illuminates the nature of thinking. This way of thinking, this work shows, is transformatory. Where transformation is a process of being that as a state of excellence is one of incremental human freedom accompanied by incremental responsibility.

The elastic scattering cross-sections of [Formula: see text]Si projectile by [Formula: see text]Al, [Formula: see text]Si, [Formula: see text]Ni, [Formula: see text]Ni and [Formula: see text]Pb targets are analyzed using the double folding model based on the effective M3Y interaction which is known as the most popular density independent form. In the calculations of the double folding model, 16 different density distributions of [Formula: see text]Si nucleus are examined. A very good agreement between experimental data and theoretical results is obtained, and also the literature results support our results. In addition, dependence on incident energy, target atomic number and target mass number of the imaginary potential depth is studied, and new and global equations are proposed.

The paper explores the key approaches to understanding the category of “human dignity” at the level of theo-retical sources and practice of law enforcement. The positions of the European Court of Human Rights (hereinafter referred to as the ECHR) are analyzed. It is stated that the criteria for distinguishing between different forms of humiliation of human dignity (torture and the behavior that is cruel, but still does not reach the level of torture) are (a) the purpose for which the corresponding actions are performed and (b) the degree of cruelty of the perpetrator(s) and the degree the suffering of the victim. It is established that, in assessing the severity of a victim’s suffering and the severity of their treatment in terms of whether such treatment has reached the level of torture, the ECHR always takes into account the individual characteristics of the case. It is demonstrated that an attitude (actions, orders, conditions of detention, etc.) aimed precisely at the humiliation of human dignity is an independent form of miscon-duct that violates Art. 3 of the Convention and Art. 11 of the CPC. It is proved that such situations do not involve the use of physical violence against a person, which would cause their physiological discomfort, as otherwise it would already qualify as inhuman treatment or torture depending on the intensity of the violence and the degree of suffering. At the same time, it is said about the attitude (actions, orders, conditions of continuation) that causes the victim to feel fear, anxiety and inferiority, which can offend and humiliate (it is enough if the victim is humiliated in their own eyes). It should also be borne in mind that even the absence of the purpose of victim’s humiliation in such a situation does not in itself exclude violations of Art. 3 of the Convention. It is substantiated that although the humiliation of dignity may be an independent form of violation of Art. 3 of the Convention and Art. 11 of the CPC, but the humiliation of inseparably accompanies other forms of violation of Art. 3 of the Convention and Art. 11 of the CPC – such as torture and other cruel or inhuman treatment or punishment or the use of threats of such treatment.

AbstractWe elaborate on the structure of the conformal anomaly effective action up to 4-th order, in an expansion in the gravitational fluctuations (h) of the background metric, in the flat spacetime limit. For this purpose we discuss the renormalization of 4-point functions containing insertions of stress-energy tensors (4T), in conformal field theories in four spacetime dimensions with the goal of identifying the structure of the anomaly action. We focus on a separation of the correlator into its transverse/traceless and longitudinal components, applied to the trace and conservation Ward identities (WI) in momentum space. These are sufficient to identify, from their hierarchical structure, the anomaly contribution, without the need to proceed with a complete determination of all of its independent form factors. Renormalization induces sequential bilinear graviton-scalar mixings on single, double and multiple trace terms, corresponding to $$R\square ^{-1}$$ R □ - 1 interactions of the scalar curvature, with intermediate virtual massless exchanges. These dilaton-like terms couple to the conformal anomaly, as for the chiral anomalous WIs. We show that at 4T level a new traceless component appears after renormalization. We comment on future extensions of this result to more general backgrounds, with possible applications to non local cosmologies.

Abstract Despite the progress in the development of new anticancer strategies, cancer is rapidly spreading around the world and remains one of the most common diseases. At the same time, oncological diseases are detected in patients with late stages of the course in the overwhelming majority of cases. This fact necessitates chemotherapy both as part of a combination and in the view of an independent form of treatment. For more than 40 years, doxorubicin has been widely used in the treatment of solid and hematological tumors. At the same time, the problem of its cardiotoxicity remains unresolved, despite the high efficiency of this drug. Symptomatic therapy is used as a treatment for side-effects of doxorubicin or pathological conditions that have already appeared on their background. To date, there are no treatment methods for doxorubicin cardiomyopathy as such. A drug such as nicotinamide riboside can play an important role in solving this problem. Nicotinamide riboside is a pyridine nucleoside similar to vitamin B3 that acts as a precursor to NAD+. There are no such works in cardiomyopathy, despite the abundance of works devoted to the mechanisms of realization of the effects of nicotinamide riboside in various pathologies. The review analyzes information about the effects of NR on various experimental models of pathologies, its role in the synthesis of NAD+, and also considers the possibility and prospects of its use for the prevention of doxorubicin cardiomyopathy.

Problem setting. The implementation of the norms of a particular branch of law can occur only in the relations that constitute its subject, thus transforming these relations into legal relations. Labor law is no exception. In this regard, the rules on guarantees must be considered in terms of implementation in relations that are part of the subject of labor law. Note that the relations that are the subject of labor law are governed by special methods that form a single method of this branch of law. This, in turn, gives rise to the assertion that an additional circumstance that allows to include the relations included in the subject of labor law to an independent form, is the possibility of applying to these relations methods of legal regulation characteristic of the method of this branch of law. This approach should be used in relation to the provision of guarantees and compensation, the inclusion of which in the subject of labor law as a separate type is not excluded. To do this, we highlight the main methods of legal regulation proposed by the science of labor law, which characterize the method of this branch of law. Analysis of recent research. The works of many labor scientists, in particular: N. Bobrova, M. Vitruk, D. Karpenko, T. Markina, P. Nedbayl, K. Urzhinsky, are devoted to the study of guarantees in labor law. V. Skobelkin, O. Smirnov, N. Stolyar, L. Surovskaya, O. Yaroshenko and others. Target of research is to consider the relationship between the methods of legal regulation of the method of legal law for the provision of guarantees and compensation. Article’s main body. The article covers the issues of legal regulation of labor relations for the implementation of legal guarantees. The peculiarities of the method of legal regulation are described. It is indicated how the methods of legal regulation of the method of labor law relate to the relationship of providing guarantees and compensations. It is concluded that the regulation of relations on the provision of guarantees and indemnities takes place using special methods that are not used in relations that are the subject of labor law. Conclusions and prospects for the development. Thus, the characteristics of the method of labor law, in terms of the possibility of applying its methods to the relationship of guarantees and compensation allows us to draw the following conclusions: the method of labor law is a special combination of ways to influence the rules of law on public relations. The regulation of relations for the provision of guarantees and compensation is using methods that determine the method of labor law. At the same time, the regulation of relations on the provision of guarantees and indemnities also takes place using special methods that are not used in relations that are the subject of labor law. This fact determines the specifics of their intended purpose and indicates the presence in the system of labor law of an independent legal institution – the institution of guarantees and compensations.
