Relevance. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are frequently prescribed in dental practice to relieve pain and swelling. This study reviews information on NSAIDs, with a particular focus on those aspects that are relevant to the practice of dentistry.Materials and methods. A systematic literature search was conducted, which included studies dating from 1970 to June 2021. The search in the electronic databases e-LIBRARY.ru, Embase, Pubmed and Medline identified the studies. Articles were reviewed by meeting the inclusion and non-inclusion criteria.Results. Initially, the electronic search identified 589 studies. After reviewing the titles and abstracts, 69 potentially relevant studies were subject to full-text evaluation. Of these, 34 studies were excluded based on study design, research question, or lack of numerical data on all variables to be assessed in this study, so 35 studies with a detailed list of such data could be included in the quantitative comparison.Conclusion. The use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may alter the inflammatory response in the treatment of oral diseases. The conducted studies have brought up questions about the effectiveness and alternative ways of NSAID delivery in dentistry, namely, dispersible formulation.

The decrease in agricultural productivity in successive cutting of sugarcane plants is associated with several extrinsic and intrinsic factors. However, no studies have focused on the physiological potential of sett roots in successive cuts in sugarcane culture. There have been no proteomic studies on sugarcane sett roots at different stages of cutting. In this study, the UPLC-ESI-TOF-MS system and bioinformatics tools were used to identify proteins of sett roots in the first and fifth cuts of sugarcane cultivar RB966928 in the sprouting stage. Differences in the proteome of sett roots of RB966928 in the first and fifth cuts detected in this study supports the hypothesis that the proteome of sett roots may change after successive cuts in sugarcane culture. A reduction in the number of proteins was observed in the roots of the fifth cut, whereas 34% of proteins, identified exclusively in the first cut, were absent in the fifth cut. Proteome analysis of sett roots in the first and fifth cuts showed that the changes after successive cuts were quantitative (number of proteins) and mainly qualitative. In this study, the detailed list of proteins identified in the first cut but absent in the fifth cut is relevant. The findings of this study may aid further research that employ biotic or abiotic elicitors to induce gene expression of essential proteins absent in sett roots of the fifth cut, and thus increasing the agricultural productivity and longevity of cane fields

The article is devoted to the epistolary legacy of Nelle Harper Lee, the author of the American cult classic To Kill a Mockingbird (1960). The researcher examines a collection of Nelle’s letters written from 1956 to 2009, provides a detailed list of sources and makes suggestions about the potential new discoveries that could shed light on the life of ‘America’s most reclusive author.’ This short study of ‘posthumous baggage,’ as Lee referred to her private correspondence, offers an insight into the interests of the author, who insisted on keeping her personal life to herself. The letters included in the study concern the writer’s relationship to her father Amasa Coleman Lee, on whom she based the character of Atticus Finch, her attitude to her own biography published by Charles Shields, and personal anxieties of her final years. The author also details Lee’s opinions of literature, from the 19th-c. classics to contemporary authors, and shows how much she valued communication with her numerous fans.

Abstract Due to rise in income and living standards in the developing world, there is a substantial growth in the use of home appliances. This growth is responsible for several environmental issues. Hence, there is a growing demand for energy efficient, environment friendly, and sustainable appliances. This study compares the environmental impacts of three home appliances using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Three irons of same power rating but with different prices (low, medium, and high) were selected for this study. First, energy consumption of these irons was measured and then they were disassembled to generate a detailed list of components, materials, and processes used to manufacture them. Next, LCA was conducted using SimaPro to compare the environmental impacts of these irons. Life cycle stages including material extraction, component manufacturing, assembly, distribution, and use were considered in LCA. Both ReCiPe mid-point and end-point environmental impacts were calculated. The results of this study showed that high-price iron was more environment friendly than the low-price iron.

AbstractIn the competitive globalized market, risk management is an important aspect of the supply chain, but it becomes crucial to the management of a faith-based supply chain. The halal supply chain is an emerging research era at an early stage. To retain the halalness from procurement to end customer, this research was aimed to identify and prioritize the important risk elements for managing the HSC. For this purpose, a literature review was studied, 42 risk factors, classified into seven dimensions, were categorized with the expert’s opinion. A fuzzy best–worst method was proposed to analyze and prioritize the risk elements. The results indicated production-related risks are highly significant and sustainability-related risks are the least important among risk elements in the Halal supply chain. This research makes a major contribution by compiling a detailed list of risks associated with Halal supply chain management. It may also assist the manager in mitigations of risks for the Halal supply chain on a priority basis.

ABSTRACT: A political-diplomatic essay written by don Pedro de Villa and sent to the cardinal-infante Ferdinand in 1640 is edited here. A number of arguments are presented to prove this discourse spurred the government of the Spanish Netherlands to take a long series of actions that lead to the ruin of Saavedra Fajardo’s diplomatic career. In addition, the essay is an exemplary and exceptional source showing that the perceptions of the Spanish Monarchy in the Holy Roman Empire were varied. The enemies outweighed the allies, but there was a long and detailed list of princes and political leaders who were strongly or conditionally supportive, even at the end of 1640.
