Rabies is a lethal zoonotic disease caused by lyssaviruses, such as rabies virus (RABV), that results in nearly 100% mortality once clinical symptoms appear. There are no curable drugs available yet. RABV contains five structural proteins that play an important role in viral replication, transcription, infection, and immune escape mechanisms. In the past decade, progress has been made in research on the pathogenicity of RABV, which plays an important role in the creation of new recombinant RABV vaccines by reverse genetic manipulation. Here, we review the latest advances on the interaction between RABV proteins in the infected host and the applied development of rabies vaccines by using a fully operational RABV reverse genetics system. This article provides a background for more in-depth research on the pathogenic mechanism of RABV and the development of therapeutic drugs and new biologics.

Introduction. Mining disturbs the natural state of the rock mass. Besides, the field reserves are of a different degree and nature of man-induced changes, which directly affects mining prime cost and ore marketable value. The scientific and practical relevance of the research consists in ensuring increased completeness and economic efficiency of field development by applying the development systems of different classes and taking into account the man-induced changes in reserves in mining dynamics. Research aim is to substantiate the technological schemes of mining, that take into account the possibility and feasibility of developing the reserves which have been affected by the man-induced changes, in particular when switching from one class of development systems to another. Research methods. In this research, based on the analysis of the mining and geological conditions of copper sulfide deposits, economic and mathematical modeling of developing an ore deposit by development systems of different classes was carried out, and the man-induced changes in underground reserves in the process of mining were taken into account. Results. Based on the modeling results, it was found that the increase in the economic efficiency of the deposit development is provided by justifying the type, sequence, and limits of applying different geotechnologies related to different classes of development systems within the entire deposit and a separate ore body. Conclusion. The research results can be used when designing fields in terms of selecting and substantiating the applied development systems.

Digital transformation of the modern world requires any person, including people with partial or complete vision loss, to have new competencies in organizing their own lives. The share of high-tech services is growing in almost all areas of library and information activities.The process of inclusion of visually impaired people in the world of new opportunities is directly related to the formation of the image of socially active special library. The author analyzes the management decisions and development of the Novosibirsk Regional Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired as a consumer and participant of the intersectoral and interdepartmental market of rehabilitation industry products. The article reveals the role of assistive (auxiliary) technologies in the expansion of a number of educational services for the interested social and professional groups of the population.The empirical basis of the article is the results of the information and applied development of the assistive technology sphere by the specialists of the Novosibirsk Regional Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Various social, technical, regulatory and economic aspects have defined the development of the institution over a long period of time. The interdisciplinary nature of the proposed method involves the use of advanced assistive technologies as the basis for expanding the services of special library.The article considers the proactive approach that takes into account the priorities of the readership as an actual and effective way to develop a system of special library and information services. The author proposes and approves as innovation the idea of using the achievements of the related field of activity — accessibility technologies. Educational and training activities of the library in this context become a targeted tool for informing and motivating specialists of various branches. The article shows the need for additional efforts to organize and coordinate the work in the conditions of different levels of competence of specialists. Advanced development of assistive technologies allows expanding the range of users.

The rapid growth in wearable technology has recently stimulated the development of conductive textiles for broad application purposes, i.e., wearable electronics, heat generators, sensors, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, optoelectronic and photonics. Textile material, which was always considered just as the interface between the wearer and the environment, now plays a more active role in different sectors, such as sport, healthcare, security, entertainment, military, and technical sectors, etc. This expansion in applied development of e-textiles is governed by a vast amount of research work conducted by increasingly interdisciplinary teams and presented systematic review highlights and assesses, in a comprehensive manner, recent research in the field of conductive textiles and their potential application for wearable electronics (so called e-textiles), as well as development of advanced application techniques to obtain conductivity, with emphasis on metal-containing coatings. Furthermore, an overview of protective compounds was provided, which are suitable for the protection of metallized textile surfaces against corrosion, mechanical forces, abrasion, and other external factors, influencing negatively on the adhesion and durability of the conductive layers during textiles’ lifetime (wear and care). The challenges, drawbacks and further opportunities in these fields are also discussed critically.

This research was aimed to develop a product named HoPALM, hot-potatoes assisted listening material for secondary high school students. This research applied development research and ADDIE procedure. In the analysis stage, the researcher found the fundamental problems and needs of the students as well as the opportunity as the background of developing HoPALM. In the designing and developing stage, the researcher collected the sources that needed and develop HoPALM by using the features available on the hot-potatoes program. After the product assessed by the material content and the multimedia experts, HoPALM considered as valid and applicable to use, the researcher implemented the product to the two school targets, SMA Negeri 1 and 2 Sungai Kakap. According to 208 students from two schools, as many as 156 students or 75% of them feel more motivated and prefer to learn English. As many as 123 students or 59.1% of them were able to overcome difficulties encountered. 120 students or 57.7% admitted that their listening ability increased. Furthermore, although not spontaneously, as many as 196 students or 95.6%, confessed being able to understand what they are listening to, especially if there are images in that section. Most importantly, as many as 120 students or 57.7% more motivated in learning English.

An original generalizing class of game-theoretic models (operational games or KOSH games) is presented, using which many micro-and macro - economic interactions are naturally modeled. Basic concepts of the theory of operational games and classification of such games, equations of dynamics of operational game interactions, and procedures for modeling scenarios of such interactions are described. Examples of operational games and some practical results of using this theory are given. The possibilities of fundamental and applied development of the considered direction of game-theoretic research are analyzed. The importance of this research is due to the fact that the original idea of the founders of game theory, which is to create an adequate accurate language for describing economic processes, has not been implemented to this day. In this paper, an attempt is made to implement this by accurately defining the concept of “operation” using static games of a well-defined type and considering dynamic ensembles of such static games.

The conceptual principles of the intellectualization of economic processes are considered. The main characteristics of the economy, based on knowledge are determined. The modern technical and economic way, which is characterized by large-scale knowledge and information of strategic resources in the development of the global economic system are established. In the mainstream of such transformations the knowledges are the main factors of growth and economic growth in all spheres of life and government. Apparently, the education and the science will become the basic productive forces that are so-called “points of growth”. The characteristics of the economy, based on knowledge are determined. The essence of the definition of intellectualization were analyzed. The main features and characteristics of the intellectualization of the modern economy are defined. Intellectualization of activity is a factor in ensuring the development of economic entities and staff in particular. The result of the intellectualization of the enterprise is the creation of innovative products (services) with the involvement of staff (their intellectual resources), the intensification of its intellectual activity and potential. This, in turn, becomes the foundation for innovative development of the enterprise, the formation of quality competitive advantages, increasing intellectual capital and potential of employees and managers. The processes of intellectualization directly contribute to the formation and use of new approaches and models of management, focusing and directing resources to the management of knowledge and intellectual capital at different levels of enterprise management (human, structural and consumer). It was established that the intellectualization of socio-economic processes and relations is characterized by expanding the scale and increasing the efficiency of knowledge and intelligence, which is manifested in the new qualities of socio-economic systems of all types and levels. In addition, it is established that the main resources of the intellectualized economy are knowledge and information, which have their own characteristics of formation and use. The intellectualization of socio-economic systems of different levels is directly related to research and applied development, as well as the constant generation of innovative ideas and their practical implementation is justified.

Research background: In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and its global consequences, a fundamentally different economic environment arises, which requires the use of new approaches to the formation of the economic policy of the region and the identification of new ways to ensure the global competitiveness of the region. Territories are beginning to compete for previously unclaimed resources, as well as use new methods of promotion and positioning. Purpose of the article: The purpose of this work is to identify new economic conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences, as well as to assess the impact of these conditions on the effectiveness of the economic policy of the region and the applied promotion and positioning strategy. Methods: The methods of this study are determined by the increasing level of uncertainty of regional development processes, which requires the adaptation of analysis tools. The work uses matrix and hierarchical research methods that allow for a qualitative analysis of problem situations. Findings & Value added: The research carried out made it possible to identify and systematize the main characteristics of the new economic environment and assess its impact on the applied development strategy of the region, which guarantees a higher probability of achieving strategic competitiveness. The novelty of the study lies also in the recognition of the mobilization effect of “forced digitalization”, while in the context of a pandemic, this mobilization was based on stable (stereotypical) interaction practices.

The objective of this article is to present the development of a smart alarm prototype that will help prevent bicycle theft in Oaxaca City, which is based on a programmable system. The project arises as a need for protection and safety of the bicycle as a means of transportation; since the thefts of bicycles parked on streets in Oaxaca City increase day by day. As, for example, Carrera (2018) notes that the responsible authority does not have a decisive participation in the abatement of bicycle thefts and that it is the citizens who seek them out by their own means and they not always get success. The research was carried out in two phases, in this document the first phase is presented, in which two functional prototypes of the smart alarm were designed and implemented. The applied development methodology is that of prototypes; since this facilitates the understanding of the needs of the users. With the present research, it is hoped to lay the foundations to continue with the improvement of the prototype and in this way, society will be offered an option to protect its heritage.
