Abstract This article focuses on the project Sacred Geography of Kazakhstan, launched in 2017 in Kazakhstan as part of the nationwide program Ruqani Zhangyru (Modernization of Spirituality). The officially stated goal of the project is to cultivate a sense of patriotism in the country’s residents related to places and geographic sites that are important for the historical memory of independent Kazakhstan. The authors assume that the real goal of the project is national territorialization, or recoding of the semantics of space, by selecting, codifying, and articulating some symbols and practices, while leveling and “forgetting” others. The analysis, which is based on expert interviews and official documents, shows that this postcolonial process fits into the tendency toward ethnonationalization of Kazakhstan, in which discourse on the civil nation continues to be reproduced at the official level, while real activity is more focused on reinforcing the idea of Kazakhstan as the state of the Kazakh nation. The institutionalization of organizing and recoding the sacred landscape involves a wide variety of groups and actors. These factors may explain the success of the project in comparison to other projects being implemented under the Ruqani Zhangyru program.

Problem solving is one of the most important components of the human cognition that affects for ages the progress of the human society. Mathematical modelling is a special type of problem solving concerning problems related to science or everyday life situations. The present study is a review of the author’s earlier works on problem solving and mathematical modelling from the scope of Education. Its real goal is that it presents in a systematic way and in a few pages only the results of many years research on the subject. This helps the reader to get a comprehensive idea about a very important topic belonging to the core of Mathematics Education, which is very useful to those wanting to study deeper the subject and get directions for further research in the area.

Confiscation of assets to recover state losses in a criminal act of corruption requires proof of the value of state losses or the results obtained from criminal acts of corruption, either directly or indirectly, and even includes an increase in value due to appreciation. Confiscation of assets is a legal step required in the framework of the functionalization of criminal law to restore justice because criminal acts of corruption are related to protecting public rights related to state assets. Therefore, this step is following the idea of justice to achieve the real goal of the law.

Improving finance literacy of the population is a tool of the state struggle against finance fraud. However, the real goal of programs of finance literacy of the population is, as a rule an objective need to control finance behavior of the population by offering people certain ways of keeping money, its investing and such spending, which can turn the process of private consumption into the process of profit gaining and increase the involvement of all layers of the population that depend on goals and values of global capital into debt relations. The authors analyze interrelations between finance literacy of the population and a rise in trust, confidence to finance science, practice and to professional participants of finance market. They found the dependence of the level of finance trust in professionals of finance markets on the level of finance literacy of the population. At the same time it was pointed out that the growth in finance trust in society can become a nutrient medium for finance fraud, which in its turn affects the population irrespective of the level of people’s finance literacy. The authors underline, that though the rise in finance literacy of the population is a positive phenomenon, it is always accompanied by the growth in finance fraud.

Deceptive path-planning is the task of finding a path so as to minimize the probability of an observer (or a defender) identifying the observed agent’s final goal before the goal has been reached. It is one of the important approaches to solving real-world challenges, such as public security, strategic transportation, and logistics. Existing methods either cannot make full use of the entire environments’ information, or lack enough flexibility for balancing the path’s deceptivity and available moving resource. In this work, building on recent developments in probabilistic goal recognition, we formalized a single real goal magnitude-based deceptive path-planning problem followed by a mixed-integer programming based deceptive path maximization and generation method. The model helps to establish a computable foundation for any further imposition of different deception concepts or strategies, and broadens its applicability in many scenarios. Experimental results showed the effectiveness of our methods in deceptive path-planning compared to the existing one.

AbstractSome high-resolution CTD data collected in the spring of 2017 are analyzed using Thorpe sorting and scale analyses, including both the commonly used “Thorpe scale” method and a lesser-used method that is based on directly estimating the “available overturn potential energy” (AOPE): the difference between potential energies of the raw versus sorted density profiles in a mixing “turbulent patch.” The speed of the profiler varied, so the spatial (vertical) sampling is uneven. A method is developed and described to apply the Thorpe scaling and the AOPE approaches to such unevenly sampled data. The AOPE approach appears to be less sensitive to the (poorly constrained) estimate of the “background” buoyancy frequency N. Although these approaches are typically used to first estimate the dissipation rate εK of turbulent kinetic energy, the real goal is to estimate the diffusivity of density Kρ and hence the net alteration of the density profile by mixing. Two easily measured dimensionless parameters are presented as possible metrics of the “age” or “state” of the mixing patch, which might help to resolve the question of how the total turbulent energy and dissipation are apportioned between kinetic and potential components and hence how much of the measured AOPE ends up changing the background stratification. A speculative example as to how this might work is presented.

The use of the NPR (Number Plate Recognition) is a structure expected to assist confirm the number tags of cars. This structure is anticipated to have the real goal of the security system. This structure is based on an image planning system. This scheme helps to distinguish between the number plates of the cars, to prepare them and to use the information taken care of for further methodology such as securing, empowering the car to pass or to expel the car. NPR is an image scheduling development that utilizes the number (license) plate to acknowledge the car. The goal is to structure a gainful altered attested vehicle unmistakable proof scheme by the use of car number plateThe system is carried out along the route of security control of a particularly restricted area, such as military areas or area around the finest public working settings, such as the Parliament, the Supreme Court, etc. First, the produced system receives a image of the car. The region of the vehicle number plate is evacuated using the picture division in the picture. The optical character affirmation method is used to confirm the character. The resulting information is then used to distinguish and record the information in the database. The structure is performed and impersonated in Python, and the execution is tried on a licensed image. It is seen from the outset that the produced structure acknowledges and sees the car amount vividly.

This study aims to describe the analysis of character learning models and its relevance to Islamic education based onstudy Prof. Dr. Mulyasa . The method used in this study is a qualitative method with the type of library research. The results show that the character learning model is a learning model using habituation and exemplary methods, disciplinary guidance, rewards and punishments, contextual teaching and learning, role playing, and participatory learning. Some of the learning models are expected to create an atmosphere that is effective and efficient and can shape the character of good students. The relevance of the character learning model according to E.Mulyasa with Islamic education is to have the same linkages or goals, both of which want to shape the noble character which is the real goal of education.
