Green human resource management (GHRM) determines the green behavior practice of employees and affects the social environment and the realization of “Beautiful China” and “Green Development”. In this study, to explore the impact mechanism of GHRM on employees’ green behavior, employees at all levels in an enterprise were selected to be research subjects and a regulated intermediary model was established, based on social exchange theory and the individual-environment matching theory. This paper investigated the enterprise’s GHRM, personal green behavior, relational psychological contract, environmental knowledge and green values. The results show that GHRM has a significant positive predictive effect on employees’ green behavior, the relational psychological contract plays an intermediary role between GHRM and employees’ green behavior and the intermediary role of the relational psychological contract is regulated by environmental knowledge and green values. These research results explain the relationship between GHRM and employees’ green behavior and provide an important basis for enterprises to implement GHRM practice and promote employees’ green behavior.

The Sundarbans, the single largest mangrove forest of the world is one of the prime tourism destinations of Bangladesh. Due to lack of awareness and proper planning, tourism is causing severe threat to the ecosystem of the Sundarbans. It is therefore utmost important to ensure that the natural environment of the Sundarbans doesn't deteriorate further. Promoting green tourism may be a viable way to achieve it. This study was designed to identify the ways to promote green (environment-friendly) behavior among the stakeholders, especially the tourists – traveling into the Sundarbans. A convenience sampling technique was used in the study that included both domestic and foreign tourists. A structured questionnaire was developed that incorporated 30 Likert-scale questions based on four variables, namely 'awareness program', 'incentive programs', 'interpretation' and 'government interventions'. The four variables and their corresponding items were developed in the light of extant literature and adopted based on the socio-cultural atmosphere of Bangladesh. The survey was conducted from October 2019 to February 2020 and 320 valid responses were obtained. Multiple regression analysis was employed to test the proposed research model. The result shows that out of four independent variables, government intervention and incentive programs are significantly influential factors in achieving the green behavior of the tourists. The study findings are aligned with the previous studies. The findings will provide guidelines to the tourism service providers, destination hosts, local communities, government bodies and policy makers in achieving green behavior of the tourists that in turn will yield sustainable tourism in the Sundarbans.

PurposeThe aim of this study is to verify, through Hofstede's 6-D model, the impact of national culture on the implementation of eco-labeling activities on the supplier side, in order to provide consumers information about the sustainable behavior adopted by firms.Design/methodology/approachThe authors tested the impact of culture dimensions through an econometric model, on a sample composed by several countries of the world, in which at least a food certification is in force.FindingsInteresting results have been obtained and discussed, proving the existence of a relationship between culture and corporate sustainability showcasing. Cultural heritage has a deep influence on sustainable consumption demand. Firms need to put more effort to showcase their green behavior. Economic indicators have a role in fostering sustainable behavior.Originality/valueFood labeling is little explored, despite its growing importance for consumers. This research is a window in green marketing issues, specifically in global branding strategies.

In line with circular economic, the role of green entrepreneurship (GE) should be useful in preserving environmental sustainability. However, so many people are less aware of the importance of sustainability and green behavior in business activities. Therefore, the goal of the study is to explore a linkage of green value, GE, and sustainable development that is perceived by entrepreneurship students in Jakarta, Indonesia. 180 students were involved as respondents resulting in significant impacts. By using Smart-PLS proves significant relationships and finds a mediating effect of GE which links green value to sustainable development at the level of 5 percent. It forms a green triangle approach in promoting sustainability education for university students so that this linkage signs a good perception of students in expressing green value toward GE and sustainability issues. It is an early stage in promoting the triple bottom line so that the learning system could collaborate with stakeholders for enhancing the sustainability system in entrepreneurial education.

Abstract The definition of environmentally friendly behavior has changed from generation to generation. This is due to the development of technology and media. Being close to the digital technology, the Phi generation tends to abandon the analog technology which is more environmentally friendly. This study aimed to create a media that can introduce green behavior to the Phi generation and make them implement it in their daily lives. This study used the ADDIE method to create a product in the form of an illustration book prototype. The book design contains a description of green behavior of using analog technology with a visual illustration approach. The illustration book is expected to foster the desire of the Phi generation to use analog technology.

This study explored the influence of public servants’ green attitude, green behavior intention, organization environmental strategy, green lifestyle, and formalism on green behavior. For Taiwan’s government agencies, environmental protection and sustainable development issues must be inculcated into government organizations and deeply ingrained into the mindset of civil servants. In particular, this research incorporates the concept of ‘formalism’ proposed by Riggs in administrative ecology. Exploration of the influence of civil servants’ cognition of formalism on green behavior has not been explored in any previous studies. This study collected 308 valid public servants who worked in the public sector in Taiwan and used Lisrel and SEM to justify the hypotheses explored. The results showed that civil servants’ green attitude positively affected green intention, as well as the fact that green behavior intention, organization environmental strategy, and green lifestyle positively affected green behavior. The current study also confirmed that formalism negatively affected green behavior. Formalism is considered to be an important attribute of developing administration, and it is also considered to be a resistance to the adoption of administrative innovation. This study first confirmed the negative impact of formalism on the green behavior of civil servants.

Green behaviors adopted by supply chain companies are conducive to resource conservation and environmental protection and enhancing their core competitive advantages. By constructing a game model of green behavior of supply chain companies, this research deeply analyzes the main influencing factors of green behaviors adopted by supply chain companies. It uses dynamic evolution game analysis and simulation experiment methods to explore the path evolution direction and dynamic convergence process of green behavior strategy choices of these companies, so as to provide reference value for green behavior decision-making of supply chain enterprises. The research results show that the probability of supply chain enterprises choosing green behavior strategies is related to factors such as enterprise green investment income and costs, co-benefits, spillover benefits, greenness and output of raw materials or products, government green subsidy coefficients, and fines. Supply chain enterprises should reduce the cost of green investment, maximize the profit of green investment, and increase the greenness of raw materials or products; the government should increase the coefficient of green subsidies and encourage supply chain enterprises to actively participate in the collaborative management of the green supply chain.

Purpose: According to latest researches, corporate people are becoming more aware of the significance of ecological issues. Since the HR department may play an essential role in being “Green”, GHRM (Green Human Resource Management) has emerged as a vital business strategy for firms. Researchers in Organizational Behavior and Sustainable Development have been concentrating on the role of corporate leaders in promoting Employee Green Behavior (EGB). This study investigates the impact of Green HRM practices and Ethical Leadership on Green Behavior of employees with the mediating role of Green Self-Efficacy. Design/Methodology/Approach: Multilevel data was collected from 250 employees, working as HR managers and Heads of different industries working in Multan and Lahore regions of Pakistan. The study is using convenient sampling technique. Smart PLS-SEM was used for data analysis. Findings: The results shows that Green HRM practices shows positive relationship with Employee Green Behavior and Self-efficacy while Ethical Leadership shows an insignificant relationship with Employee Green Behavior. Furthermore, Self-efficacy demonstrated significant inter-dependent behvior to describe above mentioned relationship. Implications/Originality/Value: The present study can be helpful for HR managers and policy makers to get useful insight on how GHRM can contribute to get employee green behaviors. It strengthens the efficacy of organizational green HRM systems and provides theoretical based analytics to improve GHRM research.
