Purpose This study aims to explore sexist codes in the creative departments of Chilean advertising agencies, where women represent only 4.7% of all creatives. Design/methodology/approach This study provides new insights into the experiences of women in advertising through 18 in-depth interviews with Chilean creative women. Findings The results show that gender discrimination begins in universities, where male professors are often the same people who hire creative talent into the advertising agencies and prefer men, which continues throughout women’s careers. Originality/value While there are numerous studies of advertising creative women in North American and European agencies, there are few on creative women in South American and virtually none on creative women in Chilean agencies.

Abstract: To understand the design process, think of it as a problem-solving approach that combines creative talent with art and science to create solutions. Many designers go through a design process that follows a certain order; however, this process includes some stages that were discovered to be particularly successful. The design process may be deliberate or automatic, depending on the kind of project the designers work on. For many architects, the design process and methodology are critical to the creation of creative design solutions. Many experiments have been conducted on design methods, and these studies critically examine, evaluate, compare, as well as suggest alternative solutions as a result of their findings. Keywords: Design, integrated design, parti, literal translation, analogies, metaphors, essences, ideals

From the medieval past we can single out several kings-poets, kings-scientists and scholars, education reformers, of whom Vakhtang VI deserves great respect.Versatile and varied turned out to be his genius and spectacle as well. King Vakhtang's intellect was accessible to completely different fields of science, such as history, jurisprudence, philosophy, astronomy-astrology, chemistry, medicine, grammar, textology, pedagogy. Not to mention the writing, where he said a decent word. Despite the difficult political situation, King Vakhtang VI still managed to create a prosperous cultural and educational environment in the country. With his initiative and support, the first printing house was established in Georgia in 1709. With the revival of the printed word, writing opened up vital space, giving more thought to thinking.By printing "The Knight in the Panther's Skin" the foundation was laid for the scientific study of the text of the poem - the work of restoration, the foundation was given to the most important field - Rustvelology. The literature of the Renaissance period is characterized by a number of novelties associated to the name of the King Vakhtang VI. The King, endowed with creative talent, contributed in every way to the development of new fields of science, the introduction of new themes and genres in literature. Understanding the national problem, trying to establish it and turning it into a spiritual need is the niche of Vakhtang's creativity. The only spiritual refuge of the king tired of life was the Christian faith. "The elaboration of religious themes, the cry to God, in addition to bringing spiritual peace to the deeply believing poet, at the same time he promoted the ideas of Christianity among the people and strengthened the religious faith.King Vakhtang VI not only enriched the Georgian literature with his original works, but also greatly contributed to his translation activities. His role in the development of lexicography was also great. The genius of Vakhtang VI can be discussed endlessly. It means a lot even to the fact that the history has survived in the name of the "lawgiver" king.

We apply gender theory to understand the life of Thuy Kieu at the brothel of Tu Ba in relation to her entire life. We focus on analyzing memories, reflections, and pure love predictions in contrast to the days of exile at Tu Ba's brothel. We identify the levels of spiritual life, emotions, and sexual behaviors in relation to real situations, emotions, psychology, and human values. Expanding our comments, we discuss some opinions of Nguyen Bach Khoa, Ho Dac Duy, and Phan Que in explaining instinctive characteristics, humanity, and social conventions. The reality of action and the ability to self-sense about sexual acts shows the personality, bravery, and cultural depth as well as the rich spiritual world of Thuy Kieu. The article investigates, verifies the reality and the ideal, identifies the multi-personality characteristics of Thuy Kieu from the measure of instinct and individual human qualities, and contributes to affirm the creative talent of the great poet, Nguyen Du.

This study aims at introducing and discussing the concept of ‘academic culture,’ the Chinese concept of ‘talent cultivation’, and the influence of ‘academic culture’ in the process of ‘talent cultivation’in the Chinese context. It uses the analysis of some observation notes and relevant literature that examines the issue of ‘academic culture’. The Chinese ‘talent cultivation’is fascinating and seems useful due to the significant development of the higher education system with the increasing internationalization and the innovation of scholars. However, some challenges such as academic scandals and academic corruption, the falsification and plagiarism of academic achievements, the phenomenon of money-worshipping, the vulgar pragmatism, the utilitarianism, the academic creation of falsehood, the culture of guanxi, the lack of talent competition, and the lack of competition with consciousness remain actual. It appears that the cultivation of creative talent and innovative research involves the enhancement of the whole academic organization and environment.
