The most common variant of cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCL) is mycosis fungoides (MF).The spontaneous regression (SR) of MF is rare. Here, we are reporting an interesting case of refractory MF after COVID-19. The SARS-CoV-2 could be an essential component in the improvement of clinical features related to MF.

Multiplier plays key role in Signal Processing and VLSI based environment applications, as it consumes more power and area compared other devices. In real time applications power and area are important parameters. Multiplier is essential component as it occupies large area and consumes more power compared to any other element .we have so many adders to design multiplier .In this paper Pyramidal adders are used which uses half-adder and full-adder to increase the speed and to reduce the number of gates used in the multiplier, but delay is not decreased significantly. If we modify the Pyramidal adder with XNOR’s and MUX instead of normal half-adder and full-adder, such pyramidal adder uses less gates and delay is reduced compared normal 16-bit adder. The use of XNOR’s and MUX in Pyramidal adder reduces delay, as the MUX function is only select the output among inputs. The use of such pyramidal adder in multiplier delay can be decreased greatly.

Visual acuity measurement is an essential component of any eye exam. In adults and older children, letter-based acuity (i.e., recognition acuity) is commonly used to measure vision. However, in infants and toddlers, performing traditional visual acuity testing is nearly impossible. Instead, modified optotypes such as gratings and pictures are shown to observe the young child's visual behavior. Additionally, there are objective visual acuity methods that negate the need for observing visual behavior. For the practicing clinician, the choices are many and can be confusing. With new commercial products coming into the market every day, it is nearly impossible to comprehensively cover each one of them. Instead, in this chapter, commonly used and/or studied visual acuity tests are covered. For each test, the set-up, procedure, documentation, and scientific evidence supporting or negating its use are discussed.

The pandemic of 2020 put the whole world on a technology-driven online stage like never before. The new stage called for innovation and new forms of creativity. The Theatre-in-Education team at ATA was also caught unprepared, especially the all-pervasive nature of the consequences. The team was confronted by questions of relevance and the role of educators at a time like this. This chapter describes the processes involved in crafting and successfully conducting two types of online workshops using theatre methods as the principal platform. Theatre is a group activity which involves touching, feeling, comprehending, and connecting through close contact with other participants. One must recognize that this essential component of theatre cannot be accomplished through online sessions. Despite this, the workshops had an immense impact on the children's personal development and added the element of fun to their online experience which might otherwise have remained dry and boring.

This paper deals with some of the pragmatic characteristics of indefinite pronouns, specifically about the potential for expressing a negative attitude or stance by using them. The results of a quantitative survey will be presented exploring to what extent the potential to express a negative attitude using indefinite pronouns has been mastered. The research questionnaire consisted of two parts and examined the respondents’ command in terms of both comprehension and production of the pragmatic properties of indefinite pronouns in Croatian as a second language (CL2), and the examples used in the questionnaire were taken from the hrWaC 2.0 corpus (Ljubešić and Erjavec 2011). The research was conducted among students of CL2 at the levels B2 and C1 (N=60) who attended the programs of Croaticum – Centre for Croatian as Foreign and Second Language, University of Zagreb in the 2019/2020 academic year. The results obtained in this research can be applied in the development of learning materials intended for teaching the semantic and pragmatic features of indefinite pronouns in the instruction of CL2. They show that the pragmatic level needs to be included more thoroughly in the teaching of CL2 because its mastery is an essential component of language competence, especially at higher levels. The pragmatic properties of IP should also be taught, as should idiomatic expressions with IP. It is necessary to not only teach from an explicitly grammatical approach, but also to teach lexically in such a way that includes the pragmatic level, because IP have great pragmatic potential.

Abstract The magnet system is an essential component of the Kibble balance, a device that is used to realize the unit of mass. It is the source of the magnetic flux, and its importance is captured in the geometric factor $Bl$. Ironically, the $Bl$ factor cancels out and does not appear in the final Kibble equation. Nevertheless, care must be taken to design and build the magnet system because the cancellation is perfect only if the $Bl$ is the same in both modes: the weighing and velocity mode. This review provides the knowledge necessary to build a magnetic circuit for the Kibble balance. In addition, this article discusses the design considerations, parameter optimizations, practical adjustments to the finished product, and an assessment of systematic uncertainties associated with the magnet system.

There is wide consensus that Islam is an important rallying point for the Uyghurs and an essential component of their national identity. Yet despite its centrality in Uyghur culture, there is only marginal reference to religion in modern Uyghur poetry. In this article, I argue that poets such as Adil Tuniyaz, Tahir Hamut Izgil, and others, most of whom are secular and urban, choose to relate to religion through mysticism and nostalgia in reaction to the Chinese state’s characterization of Islam as identified with violent fundamentalism and terrorism. By avoiding the use of separatist symbols, these poets contribute to a broad national ethos that strengthens contemporary Uyghur identity.

Phase separation is the driving force behind formation of various biomolecular condensates (BioMCs), which sub-compartmentalize certain cellular components in a membraneless manner to orchestrate numerous biological processes. Many BioMCs are composed of proteins and RNAs. While the features and functions of proteins are well studied, less attention was paid to the other essential component RNAs. Here, we describe how RNA contributes to the biogenesis, dissolution, and properties of BioMCs as a multivalence providing scaffold for proteins/RNA to undergo phase separation. Specifically, we focus on N6-methyladenosine (m6A), the most widely distributed dynamic post-transcriptional modification, which would change the charge, conformation, and RNA-binding protein (RBP) anchoring of modified RNA. m6A RNA-modulated phase separation is a new perspective to illustrate m6A-mediated various biological processes. We summarize m6A main functions as “beacon” to recruit reader proteins and “structural switcher” to alter RNA–protein and RNA–RNA interactions to modulate phase separation and regulate the related biological processes.
