Anisotropy of mechanical properties of the entire material and each of its layers is characteristic for polymer layered composite materials, as well as the fact that production processes of the composite material and parts from it are often combined in time. In this case, the elastic properties and strength of the material will be different not only in the thickness of the part, but also at each point. All this leads to a complication of the design process, which is due to the need to determine the elastic properties and strength of the polymer layered composite materials, taking into account the structure of the entire material and each of its layers. This work aims at evaluating the existing computational methods of finding effective characteristics of elastic properties by comparing computation results obtained by various methods with each other, as well as with the experimental results related to elastic properties of polymer layered composite materials from carbon and glass fabrics. We estimated the computational methods of finding effective characteristics of the elastic properties of composites based on the experimental results of finding the characteristics of the elastic properties of polymer layered composite materials made of carbon and glass fabrics, differing in density and type of weaving. The experimental values of the effective characteristics of elastic properties were determined as a result of standard tensile tests of laboratory specimens. As a result of the study, it was found that all the considered models and methods give consistent results when calculating the longitudinal modulus of elasticity E 11, the results of calculating shear modulus E 33 and shear moduli G 12 and G 23 are less consistent for all the considered materials. The comparison of the results of the experimental studies and computations showed that the Chamis model and the bridge model are better than other models to predict the values of the longitudinal elastic modulus.

The usage of medications like aspirin, ibuprofen and acetaminophen is well-accepted as pain relieving agents worldwide. Aspirin is a medication that is used not only for relieving pain but also for decreasing the risk of heart attack. Acetaminophen and ibuprofen have a significant role in decreasing chronic pain and inflammation. There is a deep connection between the dental procedures and the patients medicine intake. These effects can be known as side effects and damage the natural structure of the tooth or can be any disturbance in dental procedures especially in surgery and tooth extractions. Recognition of common medications and their effects is an important aspect not only for physicians but also for dentists and oral surgeons. The database of this article was derived from valid sources such as PubMed, Google scholar and Web of Science. The search method included the primary keywords like “aspirin”, “ibuprofen” and “acetaminophen” combined with “teeth”, “tooth extraction”, “oral cavity”, “dental procedures'', and/or “bleeding time”. Our results illustrated that a long-term application of aspirin favorably affects the patients who are suffering from angina, stroke or myocardial infarctions. Other findings confirmed that ibuprofen has antipyretic, analgesic and anti – inflammatory features. Effective characteristics of paracetamol as the medicine of choice for the treatment of post-exodontia pain was demonstrated according to several studies. In this review article we provide details about the effects of the three aforementioned medications, their usage in the dental field and any adverse effects on healthy tooth structures.

Introduction: A student mentor is someone who shares his or her knowledge with a less experienced colleague in order to help the other developing his or her full academic potential by providing him/ her with the right guidance and support during his learning, social and academic integration processes. Objective: To assess the features higher education students consider to be the most effective characteristics their Student Peer Mentor should possess. Method: A descriptive-exploratory study, with a cross-sectional focus, involving a sample of 306 higher education health students, with a mean age of 21.15 (± 3,540) years. 81.7% of the participants are female. Data collection was achieved using Cunha’s Ideal Mentor Faces Scale (2017) with images adapted from Botas, Gabriel & Welling, (1997/1998). Results: Results show that 61.8% of the students surveyed would like to be student mentors and that most participants (54.2%) look at their ideal mentor as someone who possesses positive features, while 12,1% of the participants would choose for their ideal mentor a student whose features might suggest the existence of a risk profile. Finally, and paradoxically, 33.7% of them would choose a student mentor who tends to exhibit certain negative features. Positive characteristics were granted the highest mean values. Those values ranged between Satisfied (68%), Tranquil (78.1%); Optimistic (85%); Confident (88.2%) and Interested (87.9%). Conclusions: Results suggest that higher education students value the existence of student mentors with positive features/characteristics and realize that their existence is of great pedagogical importance. Therefore, there is now a greater need to ask higher education students to participate in Mentoring programs implemented with the support of second or third year Student Mentors who, on a voluntary basis, using their experiences and academic experiences can supervise incoming first year students (Mentee Students) in order to facilitate their integration and their adaptation to the different dimensions (pedagogical, scientific, social and any other) of the academic environment.

A refined beam theory that takes the thickness-stretching into account is presented in this study for the bending vibratory behavior analysis of thick functionally graded (FG) beams. In this theory, the number of unknowns is reduced to four instead of five in the other approaches. Transverse displacement is expressed through a hyperbolic function and subdivided into bending, shear, and thickness-stretching components. The number of unknowns is reduced, which involves a decrease in the number of the governing equation. The boundary conditions at the top and bottom FG beam faces are satisfied without any shear correction factor. According to a distribution law, effective characteristics of FG beam material change continuously in the thickness direction depending on the constituent’s volume proportion. Equations of motion are obtained from Hamilton’s principle and are solved by assuming the Navier’s solution type, for the case of a supported FG beam that is transversely loaded. The numerical results obtained are exposed and analyzed in detail to verify the validity of the current theory and prove the influence of the material composition, geometry, and shear deformation on the vibratory responses of FG beams, showing the impact of normal deformation on these responses which is neglected in most of the beam theories. The obtained results are compared with those predicted by other beam theories. It can be concluded that the present theory is not only accurate but also simple in predicting the bending and free vibration responses of FG beams.

As proven in numerous experimental and theoretical studies, physical and mechanical properties of materials are determined by their internal structure. In the particular case of polycrystalline metals and alloys, an important role is given to the orientation distributions of crystalline lattices, or, in other words, crystallographic textures. Physically reasonable models of texture formation are highly demanded in modern Material Science and Engineering since they can provide an efficient tool for designing polycrystalline products with improved operational characteristics. Models of interest can be obtained on the basis of statistical formulations of multilevel approaches and crystal elasto–visco–plasticity theories (in particular, Taylor–Bishop–Hill models and their various modifications are appropriate here). In such a framework, a representative volume element of a polycrystal is numerically implemented as a finite aggregate of crystallites (grains or subgrains) with a homogenized response at the macro-scale. Quantitative texture analysis of this aggregate requires estimating statistically stable features of the orientation distribution. The present paper introduces a clustering-based approach for executing this task with regard to preferred orientations. The proposed procedure operates with a weighted sample of orientations representing the aggregate and divides it into clusters, i.e., disjoint subsets of close elements. The closeness criterion is supposed to be defined with the help of a special pseudometric distance, which takes rotational symmetry of the crystalline lattice into account. A specific illustrative example is provided for better understanding the developed procedure. The texture in the clustered aggregate can be described reductively in terms of effective characteristics of distinguished clusters. Several possible reduced-form representations are considered and investigated from the viewpoint of aggregating elastic properties in application to some numerically simulated textures.

Happiness is one of the effective characteristics in human existence that the human soul and body have received many effects from this emotional aspect of human beings. Although psychologists' definitions of the causes and factors of happiness are different, but everyone agrees on one basis, and that is the essential need of the individual and society to strengthen the dimension of happiness and vitality in human beings, and that this feature can lead to prosperity and growth. Provide progress in the individual and society. This article confirms that the teachings of Jalaluddin Mohammad Rumi seek to provide a bed of happiness, with the difference that happiness is different from the view of Rumi as a religious mystic with the views of other greats. This research intends to study happiness and vitality on the basis of spiritual Masnavi. Access to Rumi's thoughts and ideas is important because his ideas can be considered as a great Muslim poet and mystic and a representative of Islamic mysticism and can be generalized to the thoughts of many of his followers. Our method in this paper is a library based on documentary study and content analysis. According to Rumi, sorrow is one of the means of conduct and the seeker can not be painless and sorrow, and sorrow that is not in the path of growth is unpleasant and sorrow that is in the direction of excellence is valuable and pleasant. Sadness and happiness cause human mental moderation. Wise sorrows should be welcomed and irrational joys should be avoided. Wise sorrows are the path to happiness, and as a result, the dynamism and mobility of the soul destroys many of the sorrows and daily joys and gives true clarity to the human soul.
