To assess the quality of lamb meat after feeding young sheep with liposomal form of antioxidants is the key aim of the research. Chemical analysis of muscle tissue showed a significant (p≤0.05) increase in fat in the m. Longissimus dorsi and neck muscles by 5.3 % and 7.1 %, respectively. A significant increase in protein was observed in the average samples of leg (by 11.1%) and neck muscles (8.7 %). The calorific value of meat significantly increased in the carcasses of young animals of the experimental group. The average samples of the m. Longissimus dorsi and neck muscles showed an increase of this indicator by 3.6 and 7.6 % (p≤0.05), respectively

The complement 1q binding protein C (C1QBP), also known as p32, is highly expressed in rapidly growing tissues and plays a crucial role in cell proliferation and apoptosis. However, there are no data interpreting its mechanisms in muscle development. To investigate the role of p32 in sheep muscle development, an 856 bp cDNA fragment of p32 containing an 837 bp coding sequence that encodes 278 amino acids was analyzed. We then revealed that the expression of p32 in the longissimus and quadricep muscles of fetal sheep was more significantly up-regulated than expression at other developmental stages. Furthermore, we found that the expression of p32 was increased during myoblasts differentiation in vitro. Additionally, the knockdown of p32 in sheep myoblasts effectively inhibited myoblast differentiation, proliferation, and promoted cell apoptosis in vitro. The interference of p32 also changed the energy metabolism from Oxidative Phosphorylation (OXPHOS) to glycolysis and activated AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) phosphorylation in sheep myoblasts in vitro. Taken together, our data suggest that p32 plays a vital role in the development of sheep muscle and provides a potential direction for future research on muscle development and some muscle diseases.

The aim of the research was to establish the functioning of the ATPase enzyme systems of the blood and the longest back muscle of sheep of various breeds and ages. The object of the study was selected according to the principle of analogs of lambs and valukha of Texel and Kuibyshev breed, the feeding conditions and content of which corresponded to the current standards developed by the survival permit. It was established that the activity of Mg2 +, Na +, K + -, Mg2 + - and Na +, K + -ATPases in the membrane of erythrocytes of lambs is determined by age with a high degree of confidence (P 0.001), respectively, at 99.45; 99.41 and 98.46%; the activity of Mg2 +, Na +, K + -, Mg2 + - and Na +, K + -ATPases of the longest back muscle of the valuchs, respectively, by 81.09%; 85.16 and 83.21%. The correlation analysis carried out by the authors proved the effect on the ATPase activity of the erythrocyte membrane and the longest back muscle age; moreover, in the case of erythrocytes, the correlation is negative, in the case of muscle tissue, it is positive. No significant influence of animal species on the activity of Mg2 +, Na +, K + -, Mg2 + - and Na +, K + -ATPases of the erythrocyte membrane and sheep muscle was not found.
