Student’ activities play an important role in classroom learning activities. Student activities also affect student learning achievement, if the child is active then the possibility of achievement is also good. Unfortunately,  not all students are active in learning activities. The problem of low student activity occurs at State Elementary School 2 of Medini. The lack of students who ask questions or express opinions showed the activities of students were classified as low. This problem may disturb learning process and can affect student achievement. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement in student activity through the Student Teams Achievement Division model assisted by Utaku media. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of State Elementary School 2 of Medini. The instrument used was a student activity observation sheet. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis technique. The results showed an increase on students’ learning activities in the first cycle obtained an average value of 74 and in the second cycle increased to 85. Based on the results of CAR conducted in forth grade of State Elementary School 2 of Medini it can be concluded that the use of the STAD model assisted by Utaku media can increase student activity.

Mathematical problem solving is a method used to solve knowledge and ability problems related to calculation problems, both personal problems and group problems in everyday life. This research was conducted to determine how the ability of students in solving math problems in elementary schools on discharge material using tests. This research was a type of research that uses qualitative methods with descriptive types, where each result of this analysis will be more accurately and clearly expressed about the problem-solving abilities of students in solving problems. The subjects were 5 students of fifth grade of elementary school. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, observation, documentation, and tests of mathematical problem-solving abilities as well as interview guides. This research showed that 0% of students experience errors at the question reading stage. 20% of students indicate the error lies in understanding the problem. 16% of students indicated the location of the error in the transformation problem. 24% of students showed the location of the error in the numeracy process skills and the biggest error was writing the final answer by 80%. From this study, there were 1 student who scored below the minimum score, 4 students had exceeded the predetermined standard limit for mathematics lessons. Based on this research, it can find out the locations of the students' mistakes so that it provides instructions for the teacher where the teacher can deploy effective teaching strategies to overcome them.

Student motivation mostly relies on the parenting style threaten by parents since parenting is a control in providing a positive influence on children. In providing better learning circumstance and motivation, the role of parents is very important because it is used as a reference by children to achieve their learning achievements. This study discussed parenting styles and their implications toward learning motivation of students of elementary school. It also try to find out what the most the influential type of parenting style in associated with learning motivation. This research used descriptive qualitative methods. This research was conducted in State Elementary School 1 of Pelemkerep Mayong Jepara. Students, parents and teachers were involved as the research subjects. This study uses data collection techniques that include observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis used was descriptive qualitative data analysis. There are four types of parenting found, namely permissive, democratic, authoritative, and neglected. The results obtained explained that the democratic parenting style becomes the most efficient parenting style than other types of parenting in order to support learning motivation. A total of 21 respondents used democratic parenting style as a pattern of parenting and influenced elementary school students' learning motivation. Positive parenting would encourage high motivation in learning for student.

This research is based on the reality that in State Elementary School 03 of Sukoharjo, learning was carried out in the method for all lesson. It made students to be passive in learning thus resulting poor learning outcome.This study aimed to describe the improvement of student learning outcome with group investigation model assisted by poster in theme 6 “Heat and its Transfer” in fifth grade of State Elementary School 03 of Sukoharjo. This study was classroom action research which was conducted in  a number of 14 students. This research was conducted in two cycles where each cycles consisted of four stages of planning, implementation, observations, and reflection. Data collection was obtained through test, observation, interview and documentation. The data was analysed quantitatively and qualitatively The result showed an increase in students learning outcomes in aspects of knowledge, attitude, and skills. Students’ learning outcome in aspect of knowledge have increased from 71,42% in the cycle I to be 92,85% in cycle II. In aspect of attitude, students, learning outcome have also increased in cycle I by 71,42% to be 89,28% in cycle II. Students’ learning outcome also increased in aspect of skills by 74,99% in the cycle I to be 89,28% in cycle II. The results indicated that the use of Group Investigation with Poster media can improve the students’ learning outcome in knowledge, attitude and skill aspects in elementary school level.

Early childhood education is the important for a nation generation. It is the potential period in the growth of children to gain exploration experience from all aspects of both motoric and psychomotor. Lack of knowledge, especially about the concept and purpose of performing arts from an early age for education influence the design of learning programs that tend to be less creative. Even though in motion, there are many ways where the teacher can creatively connect with the values of student life at large the need of well-designed performing arts should be provided. This study aimed to describe how to produce performing arts learning design in kindergarten school by utilizing local cultural excellence knowledge sources (local genius knowledge) of Trawas district of Mojokerto with concept of integrated learning. This study used qualitative phenomenological research. The results show that during pandemic students can still learn the art performing by using online media (WhatsApp video call) so students can be more creative and discover the latest movements with the assistance of parents at home. The modeling strategy by inserting the Bantengan traditional performance as local genius of Mojokerto made the art performing learning in the kindergarten school was more meaningful. The integration of strategy and media with local genius of implemented in the school was potentially adopted larger.

Sundanese script is one of the learning topics in the fifth grade of elementary school, which learns about Sundanese script forms. In the process of learning and remembering this Sundanese script, students experience some difficulties, such as difficulty in memorizing and recalling the Sundanese script itself. This study aimed to make teachers and students more comfortable to remember and learn the process of learning Sundanese characters by illustrating the form of characters through simple conversations by grouping Sundanese characters based on the shape of the letters and the placement of the letters in the form of stories. This study used the DBR (Design-Based Research) method by research procedures of identifying learning needs, developing prototypes, testing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and questionnaires. The research subjects were teachers and fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 3 Mangunreja, SDN Cikadu, and SD IT Al-Hikmah. The test results showed that the Sundanese language story about writing Sundanese script was appropriate and eligible as a writing learning material to be used to support the learning process. The result of this research was to produce a story in Sundanese language about the writing of the Sundanese Kaganga script as writing material for elementary school students, entitled "Tili Nulis Aksara Sunda"

This study aimed to prove the existence of a positive correlation between students’ self-regulated learning and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students and to know the magnitude of the contribution of self-regulated learning to the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students in Buluspesantren. This research was a quantitative research by correlational method. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique with the help of SPSS application version 18. The number of samples in this study was 266 students in eleven State Elementary Schools throughout the Buluspesantren district. The data retrieval used questionnaires and tests. Data analysis used Pearson product moment correlation test with a significance level of 0.05 and used effective contributions. In testing the correlation, it was obtained sig = 0.000 (sig 0.05), meaning that there was a positive and significant relationship between self-regulated learning and mathematics learning outcomes which showed the higher the self-regulated learning skill of students, the higher the mathematics learning outcomes of students. On the other hand, the lower the self-regulated learning skill of students, the lower the mathematics learning outcomes of students. Self-regulated learning skill contributed to mathematics learning outcomes by 20.35%. The results of this study were in accordance with existing theories and are also supported by relevant research

This study aims to determine the effect of the Jarimatika method on the ability of multiplication in fourth grade of elementary school students.  This research focused on the use of Jarimatika to assist students in solving numeracy multiplication problem questions. This is based on factual condition where students have not been able to work on the number multiplication and also the monotonous learning methods implemented made learning mathematics feels difficult. This research employed an experimental method with a quasi experimental design in the form of nonequivalent control group design. The experimental group treated by Jarimatika, while the control group used the conventional methods of expository, question and answer and rote method. Data collection techniques in this study used tests. Research data are presented using descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. The research shows that there is an increase in the average of pretest and posttest score of the experimental group. Based on the t-test results obtained, the t obtained value of 6.966 is greater than t table of 2,056 (6,966 2,056) and a significance value of 0,000 is less than 0.05 (0,000 0.05) at a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of the t test, it showed a significant influence on the use of Jarimatika on multiplication learning outcomes in forth grade students of elementary schools.

This research was motivated preliminary studies results on non optimal the students’ ability of scalene rectangular area and the obstacle leraning experienced by students. The effort made by the teacher to overcome the learning obstacle is to design learning based on students’ needs and characteristics. In the implementation the teacher should adjust the design in accordance with the classroom situations and conditions. The purpose of this study were to describe the didactic design of scalene rectangular area based on the SPADE learning model for fourth grade students of elementary schools and  to describe the implementation and responses of teachers and students toward  the didactic design of scalene recrangular area based on the SPADE learning models in elementary schools. The research method used was a qualitative by DDR (Design Didactial Research) model consisting of three stages: prospective analysis, metapedadidactic analysis, and restropective analysis. This research was conducted in the fourth grade. The instrument of data collection used essay question on scalene rectangular area. The results of the study is a teaching materials in form of student activity sheets and lesson plans that were developed as alternatives in primary schools learning to minimize learning obstacles in mathematics learning in forth grade of elementary schools.

Cheating behavior is a phenomenon that often occurs in the education system in Indonesia. This will have an impact on the loss of moral values inherent in character education. Therefore, character education needs to be implemented early to deal with cheating behavior. The researchers try to describe the results of the exploration of cheating behavior among elementary school students. The approach in this study used a qualitative approach. The method used was descriptive in order to describe the phenomena. The research subjects were students of 4th grade of SDN 1 Cibeuti. Based on the results of students’ interviews, most students had cheated with various reasons. This research observed on 4 dimensions, namely: individualistic-opportunistic, independent-planned, social-active, and social-passive. Based on those four dimensions, the most prominent type is social-passive by 75%. While the individualistic-opportunistic type of 50%. While the social-active type is 25%. While the independent-planned type was not found cheating behavior or equivalent to 0%. So, it can be concluded that students tend to cheat because of difficult subjects. The benefit of this research is that the teacher can find out the main reasons students make and can overcome and reduce the students’ cheating behavior.
