Kredibilitas Pustakawan dalam Memberikan Informasi Isi Koleksi Layanan Anak di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Konawe

The purpose of this research is to know the Credibility of Librarians in Providing Information on The Contents of Children's Service Collections at Service Collection at the library and archives of konawe regency. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. The technique of informant determination in this study is purposive sampling with 8 informants. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study show that the Librarian of children's services in providing information on the contents of children's service collection at the library and archives of konawe regency already has quite good credibility shown in the three indicators. On indicator of trustworthiness, librarians strive to be sincere, open and patient in serving children even though their open and patient attitude is not yet fully shared. In expertise indicator, librarians already have knowledge of libraries and then about skills, librarians apply age adjusters to reading materials, conduct storytelling activities and help children who have difficulty obtaining information from reading materials because of the limitations of not being able to read even though the help has not been consistently done and on the attractiveness indicator, librarians always pay attention to appearance in this case always keeping the neatness and following the established dresscode. About psychological attractiveness, related to the closeness between library visitors and librarians where the interaction is deliberately designed approach like between Mother and Child. In addition there are other attractions that come from decorating children's services rooms that are tailored to the characteristics of the child, the provision of supporting facilities and holding activities such as film screenings.Key Words : Credibility, Librarians, Providing Informations, Children’s Services

Peran Taman Baca Rumah Inspirasi dalam Mewujudkan Literasi Informasi pada Anak-anak di Kelurahan Bungkutoko

The purpose of this research is to find out the role of inspiring home reading parks in realizing information literacy skills for children in Bungkutoko Village. This research method is descriptive qualitative with descriptive method. The technique of determining informants is done by purposive sampling or determination directly by researchers to be informants, data collection is done through observations and interviews in the Community Reading Park Of Rumah Inspirasi Bungkutoko VillageThe results of this research show that, the Community Reading Park Rumah Inspirasi in Bungkutoko Village as one of the Community Reading Parks in Southeast Sulawesi participated in realizing information literacy in children consistently and forming children's personal to be confident. Of the four indicators have been well applied in terms of information, where in this study home volunteers provide inspiration information that children need. Both serve as places of expanding insight and knowledge in this inspiring home volunteers providing reading material that suits children. The third serves as an educational entertainment place in this indicator usually children play while learning for example such as playing guessing numbers and letters, the fourth serves as a coaching character and moral indicators discuss about the importance of shaping children's character and that is where we must also introduce to children the importance of preserving culture, preserving culture and others. In the sense that the park read inspiring houses in Bungkutoko Village is very helpful for the community in the area especially children who must be met their needs by providing educational reading materials so that the literacy of information he gets is more widespread.Key Words: Role, Garden Read House Inspiration, Information Literacy

Etika Profesi Pustakawan dalam Praktik Pelayanan di Perpustakaan Daerah Kolaka Utara

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Librarian Profesional Ethics in Service Practice in The Library in The North Kolaka Area. The approach used in research is to use a qualitative descriptive approach. Which consisted of 8 informants, 3 librarians and 5 users. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Librarian Profesional Ethics in Service Practice Library has been implemented by the Librarians properly in accordance with the rules written in the Indonesian Librarian Code of Ethics especially article 3 paragraph 6 regarding the polite and wise attitude of the Librarian in providing services. This was proven through direct observation and interviews at the North Kolaka Regional Library. Keywords: Library, librarian, librarian ethics

Analisis Prosedur Penyiangan Bahan Pustaka Pada Ruang Koleksi Umum Di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Halu Oleo Kendari

The purpose of this study was to see the procedure of weeding library materials in the general collection room at the Halu Oleo Kendari University Library. The study used the concept of weeding procedures by Yulia (2010: 937) and the research method used in this study was descriptive qualitative research methods. The technique of determining information in this study was purposive sampling with 3 informants. The data techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that the procedure of weeding library materials in the general collection room was carried out by making the physical condition, level of use and duplication as a reference in selecting library materials. The stamp "removed from the library collection" proves that the library material is no longer owned by the library and library materials that have been heavily damaged and have low levels of use and library materials with many duplicates will not be returned to the shelf but will be stored or donated. The exchange of collections or grants for weeded library materials is carried out by taking into account the level of use and the number of expands on these library materials. placing the weeded collection in the warehouse first, first, it will first pull the completeness of the collection, such as a book card catalog which will later be used as an archive for the library. The data for the last 3 years of library materials are used by users as a reference in weeding activities carried out and saving content from library materials that are not weeded. Perencanaan Digitalisasi Perpustakaan pada UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Halu Oleo

The research objective was to determine the planning for digitalization of the library at the Halu Oleo University Library. The data analysis technique used in this study was carried out descriptively qualitatively. Subjects or research informants totaled 3 people consisting of electronic library managers and librarians. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the planning for digitalization of the library at the UPT Library of Halu Oleo University so far has been maximal in terms of network indicators, facilities, human resources and monitoring performance evaluation. But from these indicators, there are indicators that cannot be said to be maximum, namely funding. The funding process that comes from the government in conjunction with the library organizer or the university does not guarantee that the funding process is there every year, while digitalization planning requires a large enough fund to support the process. The funding decision is a serious factor in the process of digitizing the library at the Halu Oleo University Library. Key Words : Planning, Library digitization

Pengelolaan Perpustakaan Digital Pada Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 4 Kendari

The purpose of this study is to determine the Management of Digital Libraries at SMAN 4 Kendari Library. Data analysis techniques used a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. The location of this research is at the SMAN 4 Kendari School Library located on Jln. Ahmad Yani No.13, Bende Sub-District, Kadia District, Kendari City / District, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The results of this study indicate that the Management of Digital Libraries at SMA Negeri 4 Kendari, namely the Planning of library at SMA Negeri 4 Kendari has been very well thought out, starting in the application of digital libraries, backgrounds to the preparation of work programs, with the existence of a digital library library head and all staff when This has completed the digital collection making it easier for users to find manuals to help teaching and learning activities and assist the learning process. collection management and facility management is adequate where users can utilize digital libraries in the SMA Negeri 4 Kendari library whenever needed. but the HR itself is not maximized where human resources are still lacking, especially librarians who have talent in the computer field. Suggestions for the library of SMA Negeri 4 Kendari namely: digital libraries are expected in the management of human resources to be more noticed especially adding librarians who have talent in the field of technology so that digital services become more advanced for the future.Keywords: Library, Library Management, Digital Library.
