To break the chain of transmission of covid-19 outbreak, the public is expected to be honest in explaining chronological physical contact when treating to health facilities, especially if the patient experiences symptoms of covid-19. Honesty of patients indicated by COVID-19 is very important so that the chain of transmission of covid-19 does not expand and facilitate health workers in data collection. Denial, lies, even like the refusal of covid-19 corpses if it continues to be left, does not mean the countermeasures of covid-19 are increasingly stretched. This article tries to review the transparency of informed consent in relation to patient dishonesty, where transparent communication is expected by the patient to be honest and not to cover the perceived symptoms or various things related to covid-19. This research is normative juridical research. In normative legal research, library material is the basic data that in research science is classified as secondary data.

The library business is not yet in sync with accounting policies including existing information systems. It requires specific accounting policies related to library material collections with objective input in the form of: classification and judgment arrangements, recognition, measurement, media transfer transactions and digitization, including information systems that refer to Guidance Notes and will need to be adjusted to the existing conditions in the National Library.

The purpose of this study was to see the procedure of weeding library materials in the general collection room at the Halu Oleo Kendari University Library. The study used the concept of weeding procedures by Yulia (2010: 937) and the research method used in this study was descriptive qualitative research methods. The technique of determining information in this study was purposive sampling with 3 informants. The data techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that the procedure of weeding library materials in the general collection room was carried out by making the physical condition, level of use and duplication as a reference in selecting library materials. The stamp "removed from the library collection" proves that the library material is no longer owned by the library and library materials that have been heavily damaged and have low levels of use and library materials with many duplicates will not be returned to the shelf but will be stored or donated. The exchange of collections or grants for weeded library materials is carried out by taking into account the level of use and the number of expands on these library materials. placing the weeded collection in the warehouse first, first, it will first pull the completeness of the collection, such as a book card catalog which will later be used as an archive for the library. The data for the last 3 years of library materials are used by users as a reference in weeding activities carried out and saving content from library materials that are not weeded. Keywords: Analysis, Weeding Procedure, Library Material

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the process of procurement of library materials at the Regional Library and Archives Service of Muaro Jambi Regency. The research method used is library research methodologically classified as qualitative research with a descriptive approach in the form of a case study which aims to explain the procurement of library materials at the Regional Library and Archives Service of Muaro Jambi Regency. Data collection techniques used were through observation and interviews. The findings of the study are (1) the Regional Library and Archives Office of Muaro Jambi Regency has carried out library material procurement activities through purchases from book agents, bookstores, gifts, entrances and through assistance once a year. (2) The Regional Library and Archives Office of Muaro Jambi Regency has never procured serial publications, as well as non-book materials (recorded works) because according to them library materials are rarely needed by users. (3) The procurement of library funds for library materials is not running properly as seen from the constraints that occur, namely the lack of spending funds for the procurement of library materials both from series published library materials and recorded library materials, as well as the lack of attention from leaders leading to the procurement of library materials so that the available collections incomplete, not up to date and not used by the user. From these findings, it is hoped that the Regional Library and Archives Office of Muaro Jambi Regency will continue to procure collections of serial publications and recorded works because these collections can increase the number of collections available, create public interest in reading and add to the repertoire of library collections. Furthermore, the Regional Library and Archives Service of Muaro Jambi Regency should process funds properly by paying attention to user needs so that library materials purchased are in accordance with user education. Then also the head of the library must pay more attention that leads to the procurement of library materials so that the available collections can be more up to date, complete, and can be used by users. The mission of the special library for government agencies is to provide library material and access to information for the parent institution, while one of its functions is to develop collections that support the performance of the parent institution so that the library plays an important role in research activities at the Center for the Conservation of Plants-Bogor Botanical Gardens (PKT-KRB) LIPI. The natural beauty of Papua attracts researchers both from within and outside the country to conduct research on its biodiversity, including researchers from PKT-KRB LIPI, therefore libraries are supposed to provide a collection of plants in Papua that can be used as a reference for research activities. The purpose of this study is to provide information about the library collections in PKT-KRB LIPI, especially those related to plants in Papua. Through literature study, the author explores the collections in the library to find out what collections are contained in the library which contains information on plants in Papua to be discussed in detail. The results of the study show that the number of collections containing information on plants in Papua in the period of publication from 1985-2019 includes: 17 books, 10 travel reports, and 6 proceedings. Suggestions for further study are to focus on one of the endemic plants in Papua with literature studies not only on collections in the library but extending to the results of research by PKT-KRB LIPI research staff.

This research was intended to see how the Kirkpatrick four level evaluation model is applied in the Library Material Processing training program organized by the Education and Training center of National Library of Indonesia. This evaluation research uses the Kirkpatrick evaluation model (Reaction, Learning, Behavior, Result). The subject of this research is training organizers, training instructors and training participants in the processing of library materials. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, documentation and interviews. Data validity test is done using triangulation of sources and methods. The  results  of  this  study show that the  implementation  of the  Library Material  Processing  Training  program  has  not  gone  well  based  on  the aspect  that  being  evaluated.  1)  In  the  Reaction  evaluation  aspect, the implementation  of training  at  this  stage goes  well.  It can  be seen  from the  results  of  the  evaluator's last evaluation  score  which  has  a  score  of 93.88 or very satisfied and the last evaluation score of the instructor who has  a  score  of  90.66  or  very  satisfied.  2)  In  the  aspect  of  learning evaluation,  the  training  process  goes  well  according  to  the  plan  that was made before. This can be seen from the final score of all participants who have a score above the least limit. 3) in the Behavior aspect, the training organizers have not carried out observations of the participants' behavior after the training. 4) Then in the Result aspect, the training organizers also have  not  carried  out  observations  on  the  participants'  contributions  or the use of participant's knowledge of the library performance.   Keywords: Program Evaluation, Library Material Processing Training, Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model

Objective – The purpose of this study was to explore in the current academic library environment, the relationship between library collections data (collections’ size, expenditures, and usage) and faculty productivity (scholarly output). The researchers also examined the degree to which new and existing library metrics predict faculty productivity. Methods – Demographic data (e.g., faculty size, student size, research and development expenditures), library budget data (e.g., collection expenditures), collection use data (e.g., full-text article requests and database searches), and publication output for 81 doctoral granting universities in the United States were collected to explore potential relationships between research productivity, collection use, library budgets, collection size, and research expenditures using partial correlations. A hierarchical multiple regression was also used to ascertain the significance of certain predictors of research productivity (publications). Results – A correlation existed between the number of publications (research productivity) and library expenditures (total library expenditures, total library material expenditures, and ongoing library resource expenditures), collection size (volumes, titles, and ebooks), use of collection (full-text article requests and total number of references in the articles), and research and development expenditures. Another key finding from the hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed that full-text article requests were the best predictor of research productivity, which uniquely explained 10.2% of the variation in publication. Conclusion – The primary findings were that full-text article requests, followed by library material expenditures and research expenditures, were found to be the best predictor of research productivity as measured by articles published.
