This study aims to determine how the role of principal In Improving Teacher Quality in Private MTs Nurul Falah Talok Kresek Tangerang District. This research is qualitative with Field Research approach (Field Research). In this research, it is found that the head of madrasah in improving the quality of teachers in private MTs Nurul Falah Talok Kresek Tangerang Regency can be achieved. Achievement and success are based on a number of findings in the research that took place, namely 1). The Head of Madrasah has empowered the effort to improve the quality of teachers by covering various practical and logical work such as teacher competence test, guidance of teaching program and improvement of teacher professionalism, Increase of income and teacher welfare. 2). Madrasah principals undertake various development and fulfillment efforts related to infrastructure and madrasah infrastructure facilities. Another result of this research is that the success of the madrasah head that can support the process of teacher quality improvement can occur due to several factors, among others 1). Madrasah principal can play an important role as a leader with its central power to always move the artery of madrasah life, 2). The head of Madrasah is also able to understand SOP, their duties and functions for the success of madrasah accompanied by a strong attitude towards the subordinates who lead in this case the teacher in his madrasah. This research will explain what teacher competence is and how efforts to improve teacher competency are seen from the role of the principal. Hopefully this article can be used as material for reflection for teachers and other parties with an interest in education. The principal's leadership task will succeed well if a principal understands the task to be carried out. Therefore the principal will appear in a process where he is able to direct, guide, influence and or master the thoughts, feelings or behavior of others. For success in achieving school goals requires professional headmaster's leadership, in which he understands his duties and obligations as a leader, as well as carrying out his role as a leader. In addition,the principal must establish a good cooperative relationship withsubordinates, so as to create a work atmosphere that makes subordinates feel safe, secure, and have a freedom in developing their ideas in order to achieve common goals that have been set.

Este artículo  presenta un análisis de la relación existente entre las dos instituciones de mayor influencia en la formación de los adolescentes: la familia y la escuela; en las que existe un vínculo   inevitable e inexcusable,      que se fortalece con el trabajo coordinado y complementario. Los padres confían en   la escuela a través del desempeño de los maestros, y los docentes esperan   ser aliados de los padres   para obtener los mejores resultados; sin embargo, en la mayoría impera la frustración y el desaliento, debilitándose la deseada cooperación. Este artículo tiene como finalidad   analizar la necesidad y los   fundamentos epistemológicos de la relación escuela – familia y las competencias que el docente debe poseer  para  fortalecerla;     el  aporte  se  direcciona  en  orientaciones  prácticas  para  la construcción de buenas relaciones desde el desarrollo y formación de la competencia relacionada  con  la  orientación  familiar,     que  favorezca  la  formación  integral  de  los estudiantes.  Palabras claves: Cooperación familia - escuela, docentes orientadores,  educación familiar, rol educativo,  relación familia – escuela.  The relationship school - family and the teacher competence     Abstract  This article deals with the analysis of the relationship existing between both the family and the school, which are considered the two most influential institutions in the formation of adolescents. There is an unavoidable link-up within the school and the family that is strengthened through the coordinated and complementary work. Parents trust in the school in the same way that teachers hope to be supported by the role of the parents in order to improve the work; however in most of them, there comes a feeling of frustration and discouragement, weakening the desired cooperation. This work aims at making an analysis of the need, the epistemological   bases of the school-family ration and the skills that teachers should have to firm up such a relation; the contribution is addressed by means of practical guidelines for building up good links from the development and formation of the proficiency related to the family orientation, stimulating the integral formation of the students.  Keywords: family cooperation    - school - home teachers - family education  - educative role  - school family relationship.

Principal strategy is a factor that can encourage schools to realize the vision, mission, goals and targets of the school are implemented in a planned and gradual. The purpose of this research is to know the principal strategy in preparing the school program. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used: 1) observation, 2) interview, and 3) documentation study. Research subjects: 1) principal, 2). teacher, 3). head of MGMP, 4) school committee and 5) supervisor. The results of the study show that the program to improve teacher competency is documented through annual program, RKS, and RKAS. The program is structured based on principal analysis that does not involve all school personnel. Programs devised to improve teacher competence are the development of the teacher profession through MGMP activities, carry out correct learning evaluations, understand and implement K-2013, educational research, personality training, community service, and professionally certified teachers. This problem is seen in the number of programs that can not be implemented. Evaluation is carried out according to the time schedule determined by the principal but sometimes even done suddenly by not preparing an instrument or guideline for the evaluation. The results of the evaluation are collected into a principal's notes and submitted to the MGMP meeting and forum activities as a follow-up to the evaluations that have been implemented. Obstacles faced by the headmaster and teacher / employee in performing their main tasks, so that the program is not yet completed and needs to be followed up, the limited funds to develop the program activities, the passive role of school committees, teachers are less motivated, driven, and moved personally in developing the profession.   Abstrak Strategi kepala sekolah adalah merupakan faktor yang dapat mendorong sekolah untuk mewujudkan visi, misi, tujuan dan sasaran sekolah yang dilaksanakan secara terencana dan bertahap. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi kepala sekolah dalam menyusun program sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan: 1) observasi, 2) wawancara, dan 3) studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian :1) kepala sekolah, 2). guru, 3). ketua MGMP, 4)komite sekolah dan 5) pengawas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tentang program untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru didokumentasikan melalui program tahunan, RKS, dan RKAS. Program disusun berdasarkan analisis kepala sekolah yang tidak melibatkan seluruh personel sekolah. Program yang disusun untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru adalah pengembangan profesi guru melalui kegiatan MGMP, melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran secara benar, memahami dan melaksanakan K-2013, penelitian pendidikan, pelatihan kepribadian, pengabdian masyarakat, dan guru bersertifikasi profesi. Permasalahan ini terlihat pada banyaknya program yang tidak sempat terlaksanakan. Evaluasi dilaksanakan berdasarkan jadwal waktu yang telah ditentukan oleh kepala sekolah akan tetapi bahkan kadang-kadang dilakukan secara tiba-tiba dengan tampa menyiapkan sebuah instrumen atau pedoman pelaksanaan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi tersebut dikumpulkan menjadi sebuah catatan kepala sekolah dan disampaikan pada kegiatan rapat dan forum MGMP sebagai tindak lanjut evaluasi yang sudah dilaksanakan. Hambatan yang dihadapi adanya kesibukan kepala sekolah dan guru/pegawai dalam melaksanakan tugas utamanya, sehingga adanya program yang belum tuntas dan perlu ditindaklanjuti, keterbatasannya dana sekolah untuk mengembangkan kegiatan yang telah diprogramkan, pasifnya peran komite sekolah, guru yang kurang terpacu, terdorong, dan tergerak secara pribadi dalam mengembangkan profesi. The Head of Madrasah has a role in various matters related to improving the quality of both human resources and infrastructure in each madrasah he leads, teachers as human resources elements in madrasahs need strategic steps taken by the head of madrasah to improve their professionalism, this research aims to explore how the role of madarasah head in improving teacher competence in MTs Istiqamah Talu Talamau Subdistrict. Research is designed with an explorative qualitative approach, namely a study that aims to find the role performed by the head of madrasah through the search of various sources, the source of this research is madrasah supervisors, teachers in MTs Istiqamah and madarasah heads as a form of confirmation, to obtain data from the specified sources, in this research used observation techniques, interviews, documentation studies and focus group discussions, data analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The result of the research is that the head of madrasah plays a role in increasing the professionalism of teachers in the form of informative, coordinate, consultative and informative.

IMPROVING TEACHER COMPETENCE THROUGH TRAINING ON VIDEOSCRIBE-BASED INTERACTIVE LEARNING MEDIA FOR TEACHERS OF PHYSICS MGMP IN LEBAK REGENCY. The purpose of this community service is to increase the role of MGMP physics teacher in Lebak District in developing interactive learning media innovation. Media Innovation learning the form of learning media based Videoscribe. The weakness of teachers in making media learning makes a problem to be sought solution. One of the developments in science and technology that can be utilized as an effective and efficient learning media in physics learning is by making interactive learning media based Videoscribe. The method of public service is conducted by interview, observation, socialization, and training. Community service activities in the MGMP Physics district Lebak goes well according to the results of the questionnaire feedback the level of satisfaction of partners in the implementation of devotion to the community who said that partners respond to positive response (95%) With this devotion activity. This activity adds teachers’ skills to create an interactive and innovative learning medium for preparing teaching materials in schools. Media-based Videoscribe learning is one of the latest innovations for teachers in the MGMP Physics of Lebak district.

Integrating ICT in teacher training has become an absolute necessity over recent years. This research highlights the role of training as a means to improve Islamic religious education teacher competence in ICT. Specifically, the case-study research aim is to describe the level of ICT integration into the Islamic religious education training, referring to ‘education-and-training’, at a religious training center (RTC) in Palembang, Indonesia. Thirty teachers of Indonesian Islamic school (madrasah) and two facilitators at the RTC acted as informants in the research. Using the interactive model of qualitative analysis by Miles and Huberman, the research results indicated that the participants have already integrated ICT but were restricted to using presentations, especially the PowerPoint computer program. Secondly, age and technical problems became the major constraints to realize such integration. With respect to the availability of facilities, the RTC is in good category.

Principal's strategy is the art and knowledge gained by a principal in formulating, implementing, evaluating cross-functional decisions that facilitate the organization in achieving goals. Teachers are the key to the success of an educational institution. Good and bad behavior or teaching procedures for teachers will greatly affect the image of educational institutions. This study aims to examine and discuss in-depth the principal's strategy in developing teacher competence at MA Tarbiyatul Islam Gending Probolinggo. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The model that can be used to improve the competence of teachers in carrying out their duties is through In-service education or In-service training programs. (2) The strategic steps of the principal's leadership in developing teacher competence to improve the quality of education are the first formal strategy, namely the teacher is assigned by the institution to attend education and training, the second non-formal strategy, namely the teacher on his own desire and effort to train and develop himself related to work or position.

AbstractThis study aims to determine the role of the performance of Islamic Education supervisors in improving the pedagogical competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers in Resort I State Elementary School Pelawan District. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method, in which the researcher describes the research findings in a narrative and as-is. Data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, and interview techniques. To check the validity of the data, the author performs perseverance observation, triangulation, member check, audit trail. And to analyze the data the authors conduct data review and reduction, data unitization, data categorization, and data interpretation. The results showed that the role of the school supervisor's performance in improving the pedagogical competence of PAI teachers in Resort I State Elementary School Pelawan District was: 1. Carry out Teacher Subject Deliberation activities. 2. Provide positive input to PAI teachers. 3. Check the administrative completeness of the teacher. 4. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, yakni temuan penelitian diuraikan secara naratif dan apa adanya. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik obervasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Pengecekan validitas data melalui ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, member check, audit trail. Penganalisisan data menggunakan penelaahan dan reduksi data, unitisasi data, kategorisasi data, dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kinerja pengawas sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru Pendidikan Agma Islam (PAI) di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Resort I Kecamatan Pelawan adalah: 1. Melaksanakan kegiatan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). 2. Memberikan masukan yang positif kepada para guru Pendidikan Agma Islam (PAI). 3. Memeriksa kelengkapan administrasi guru. 4. Memberikan pencerahan mengenai perkembangan dunia pembelajaran kepada para guru.   Kata Kunci: Kinerja; Pengawas; Kompetensi Guru.
