Ancient Indian astronomy may be classified into two main categories: (1) the vedic astronomy and (2) the post vedic astronomy. The vedic astronomy is the astronomy of the vedic period i.e. the astronomy found in the vedic saṃhitas and brāhmanas and allied literature. The principal avocation of the people in the vedic times being the performance of the vedic sacrifices at the times prescribed by the śastras, it was necessary to have accurate knowledge of the science of time so that the times prescribed for performing the various vedic sacrifices could be correctly predicted well in advance. Astronomy in those times, therefore, was essentially the science of time-determination. It centred round the Sun and Moon and its aim was to study the natural divisions of time caused by the motion of the Sun and Moon, such as days, months, seasons and years, special attention being paid to the study of the times of occurrence of new moons, full moons, equinoxes and solstices.

It is well known that between the Vedic period, and that described in the epic poems, great modifications occurred in the religion and social customs of the Indian people. Since the Epic period, further changes have taken place; so that the orthodox Hinduism, of the present day, differs much from that represented in the Mahābhārata. Religious vicissitudes have also occurred outside the Brahmanic pale. The Buddhist religion has become extinguished in India. Vast numbers of the people, too, have been converted—many of them forcibly—to the faith of Islām. Notwithstanding all this, however, many of the old deities still live. The Nāga rajas are worshipped as demigods; the sun, the cedar, and the serpent are held sacred; and Indra and his Devas have still their worshippers and their temples, as they had in the days described in the Mahābharāta.

ABSTRACTThe essence of this study describes the theoretical study of the phenomenon transfortation services online. Advances in technology have changed the habits of the people to use online transfortation In fact despite legal protection in the service based services transfortation technological sophistication has not been formed and it became warm conversation among jurists. This study uses normative juridical research. This study found that the first, the Government must accommodate transfotation online phenomenon in the form of rules that provide legal certainty; second, transfortation online as part of the demands of the times based on technology; third, transfortation online as part of the creative economy for economic growth .

In presenting to the Royal Society the following pages, I am well aware that some apology is necessary; the subject however to which they refer being intimately connected with the progress of astronomy, I am induced to hope that the Society will still receive with indulgence, what would long since have been communicated to them, had other astronomical pursuits allowed me the opportunity. That the sun's right ascension, found by observation , frequently disagrees with that afforded by calculation , astronomers I believe now generally admit; an opinion however has been as generally entertained, that the discordances were the results of instrumental inaccuracy, occasioned by the effects of the solar rays upon certain parts of the instrument; hence observations of the sun have fallen into disrepute, whenever an accurate knowledge of the time is the object of research.

The mosque has a very large role and function in all dimensions of Muslim life. Where the mosque is a symbol that illustrates the strength map of the people and can unite and realize every meaning of goodness. Without mosque, the unity of the Muslims will be easily broken even divorced. The mosque is not just a place of worship, but all aspects of life problems of the people and the development and fostering of the community (people) of Islam can be resolved from the mosque. However, Along with the times, the mosque experienced a shift in values, where the mosque is no longer functioned as a function that has been exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad Saw. Based on this concern, some Muslims are aware and care about the condition of the mosque that began to be abandoned by the people, and it can be realized that lately there have been emerging movements that have encouraged the functioning of the mosque as it was in the early days of Islam. As an effort in managing the mosque by implementing several functions such as: planning, organizing, leadership actualization, supervision and evaluation become a structured management process. And this matter is combined with the development of human rights or the development of Islamic society. Awareness of the people of worship hereafter and balancing faith in worldly worship (capacital social).

Abstract– Most of the people in the district of Sungai Kunyit are engaged in the business of seafood including udang ebi. Udang ebi's monthly production in this district reached 5000 kg. Although the potential of udang ebi processing in Sungai Kunyit dsitrict is quite large, it's benefits still not improve the lives and welfare of the local fishermen. The low of education level may directly affect welfare of society that in general are still categorized as underprivileged families. Partners in this community service activities are the drying group of udang ebi in the territory of Sungai Kunyit district. The partners were Usaha Bahari Terpadu and Karya Bersama. These drying groups of udang ebi are generally running their business still use the traditional way by relying on the natural sunlight for drying udang ebi catches. So that during the rainy season, where the sun shines not too good and often cloudy, their income declined up to 40%. The above problem encouraged the team Community Services in the Sungai Kunyit district to conduct socialization and pilot project in construction drying oven for udang-ebi. Through this science and technology for Society (Ibm) program funded by Directorate of Research and Community Service (DP2M), it is expected to give significant effect on improvement in live and welfare of the local fishermen, especially drying group of udang-ebi, and finally increases the health, education and economic levels of society in general. Anthropocentric paradigm has distanced humans from nature, as well as causing the humans themselves become exploitative in attitude and do not really care about the nature. In relation, ecological crisis also can be seen as caused by mechanistic-reductionistic-dualistic of Cartesian science. The perspective of anthropocentric is corrected by biocentrism and ecocentrism ethics, particularly Deep Ecology, to re-look at the nature as an ethical community. The concept of ecoculture is already practiced from the beginning by indigenous or traditional societies in elsewhere. The perspective of the human being as an integral part of the nature, and  the behaviour of full of resposibility, full of respect and care about the sustainability of all life in the universe have become perspectives and behaviours of various traditional people. The majority of local wisdom in the maintenance of the environment is still surviving in the midst of shifting currents waves by a pressure of anthropocentric perspective. There is also in a crisis because a pressure of the  influences of a modernization. While others, drifting and eroding in the modernization and the anthropocentric perspective.In that context, ecoculture, particularly Deep Ecology, support for leaving the anthropocentric perspective, and when a holistic life perspective asks for leaving the anthropocentric perspective, the humans are invited to go back to thelocal wisdom, the old wisdom of the indigenous people. in other words, environmental ethics is to urge and invite the people to go back to the ethics of the indigenous people that are still relevant with the times. The essence of this perspective is back to the nature, back to his true identity as an ecological human in the ecoreligion  perspective.

Kentrung art is one of arts that exist on Jepara coast. This is a speech art played by two people using beaten instruments such as terbang or tambourines. Kentrung is not only a fiction for entertainment, but also contains a pasemon (parable) or human life symbols. This art center is located in Ngasem village, Batealit, Jepara. Kentrung proponents are elderly or old people (wong lawas) who activate kentrung art in Jepara. Old people is as a representation of ancient people or the people who do not following the times. As the older person, one of their life view is to respect nature preservation. Their respect for the environment is reflected in the activities that are often asked to perform in earth alms events considered at the time of alms and the insertion of kentrung stories that are often delivered between the plays that are being performed. Even though it is not dominant, love expression of the performer and the arts towards the environment is seen in the insertion of the stage.

<p><em>Laker is a typical Palembang handicraft in the form of all products or household utensils made of wood, rattan, bamboo or whatever is painted with black ink and then coated with varnish as an ingredient to beautify it as well as preservative. In this modern era the use of Crafts Laker in palembang is increasingly fading and it's not longer a culture in the City of palembang, especially the younger generation. The lack of promotion carried out on Laker handicrafts has made many of today's young generations not too familiar with Laker crafts, not even a few of them don’t know at all what laker craft is. Moreover, in the current development era, there is a fear of changing cultural heritage forms as a result of the impact of the development and progress of modern technology and other cultural elements that come from outside. To avoid this, visual promotion efforts are needed to the people of Palembang. This promotion was carried out to be able to invite the people of Palembang to cultivate laker crafts in daily life,especially the younger generation. Therefore the Visual Communication Design, Promotion of Laker Crafts is a form of persuasive effort to the people of Palembang, especially to get to know the Laker Crafts so that they can instill a sense of love and pride in Palembang Laker crafts that are known to the Palembang youth, and can invite Palembang people, especially the younger generation cultivate Laker crafts in daily life along with the trends of the times.</em></p>
