Abstract– Most of the people in the district of Sungai Kunyit are engaged in the business of seafood including udang ebi. Udang ebi's monthly production in this district reached 5000 kg. Although the potential of udang ebi processing in Sungai Kunyit dsitrict is quite large, it's benefits still not improve the lives and welfare of the local fishermen. The low of education level may directly affect welfare of society that in general are still categorized as underprivileged families. Partners in this community service activities are the drying group of udang ebi in the territory of Sungai Kunyit district. The partners were Usaha Bahari Terpadu and Karya Bersama. These drying groups of udang ebi are generally running their business still use the traditional way by relying on the natural sunlight for drying udang ebi catches. So that during the rainy season, where the sun shines not too good and often cloudy, their income declined up to 40%. The above problem encouraged the team Community Services in the Sungai Kunyit district to conduct socialization and pilot project in construction drying oven for udang-ebi. Through this science and technology for Society (Ibm) program funded by Directorate of Research and Community Service (DP2M), it is expected to give significant effect on improvement in live and welfare of the local fishermen, especially drying group of udang-ebi, and finally increases the health, education and economic levels of society in general. HEALTH EDUCATION — THE NEED TO MAKE IT WORK It is increasingly apparent that the major health problems in the world today — ranging from malnutrition and communicable diseases; many forms of mental ill-health and cardiac conditions; accidents and alcoholism, are primarily attributable to unsatisfactory living conditions, lack of knowledge and harmful practices on the part of individuals, families and communities. Advances in the field of science and technology can do no more towards the promotion of the health of the population unless it is accompanied by fundamental changes in the way of life and behaviour patterns of the people themselves.

Uncontrolled blood pressure can cause fatal complications for the patients. The high number of hypertension patients in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta is caused by a lack of self-awareness and low motivation from families. Those encourage the team to conduct education activities related to preventing high blood pressure and tips so that blood pressure can be controlled. The team coordinated with West Jakarta Tomang sub-district citizens in the implementation of community service so that health education activities can be realized. This activity is carried out by providing health education related to the ways in preventing hypertension and the benefits of it during this pandemic situation. The target people of the activity is young adults in West Jakarta area, especially those with risk factors related to hypertension, hypertension patients and their families. The activity was attended by 38 participants in accordance with the target of counseling activities. The result of the average pre-test score was 35.09 and the post-test average score was 62.28; there was an increase in the knowledge of participants who attended this education about 77.5%. This activity and other similar activities need to be carried out routinely so that the people can apply healthy life habits consistently.Tekanan darah yang tidak terkontrol dapat menimbulkan komplikasi dan berakibat fatal bagi penderitanya. Masih tingginya angka kejadian hipertensi di Indonesia terutama di Jakarta, disebabkan karena kurangnya kesadaran diri serta rendahnya motivasi dari keluarga. Hal tersebut mendorong tim pengabdian melakukan edukasi terkait pencegahan tekanan darah tinggi serta kiat-kiat agar tekanan darah dapat terkontrol. Tim pengabdian berkoordinasi dengan kader kelurahan Tomang Jakarta Barat dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat agar kegiatan edukasi kesehatan dapat terealisasi. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan  memberikan edukasi kesehatan terkait informasi cara pencegahan hipertensi serta manfaat pencegahan  hipertensi pada masa pandemi. Sasaran dari kegiatan adalah dewasa muda di daerah Jakarta Barat terutama yang memiliki faktor resiko terkait hipertensi, penderita hipertensi dan keluarganya. Kegiatan dihadiri 38 peserta yang sesuai dengan target sasaran kegiatan penyuluhan. Hasil nilai rata-rata pre-tets adalah 35,09 dan nilai rata-rata post-test adalah 62,28, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta yang mengikuti edukasi dengan materi pencegahan hipertensi sebesar 77,5%. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dan kegiatan serupa perlu dilaksanakan secara rutin agar perubahan gaya hidup dapat diterapkan secara konsisten oleh masyarakat.

In high education, scientific journal has an important role in advancing the development of sciences as well as career development for researchers and academics. For the academics community (lecturer, researcher, and student), of course they have to do research. After research finished, and then it will be finished to do a research report. The research report has varying forms. For lecturer research it is usually in the form of a research report, while research report as an end product from every high education level, it can be a thesis, or dissertation. For widely publication of a result of research, a research report can be made in a article that it can be published in reputable scientific journal both nasionally and internationally. But generally, most academics community do not / have not thought about doing research and then the results of their research are written and published in the form of a journal. It is right that several difficulties that faced akademics community in writing a scientific journal such as lazy, don’t know (there is no idea) about what will be written, there is a idea but don’t know how to start it, and various other reason. Therefore, various obstacles, and difficulties they faced in writing a scientific journal, the team of community services (PKM) of Electrical Engineering, STT PLN Jakarta offer a solution i.e workshop in writing scientific journal through community service activities. This workshop has been carried out due to cooperation with our partner that is Machanical Engineering Department, Engineering Faculity, Brawijaya University. Our partner Brawijaya University prepared participants and workshop venue. The implementation of this workshop in writing scientific journal received a very good response from the participants and provide motivation to them to do research which is then published in the form of scientific journal articles.

Health education has been reported an effective way to promote health level in the community. Kampung Binong, Tangerang, is an area in the Banten province, Indonesia that has been identified for having health issues such as hypertension and diabetes mellitus among its population. The purpose of this community service was to increase people’s basic knowledge of hypertension and diabetes mellitus. A health checks up that comprised of blood glucose, uric acid, and blood pressure measurement were also conducted. 45 people attended the health education program. On evaluation, the audience was able to mention based on their understanding the definition of hypertension and diabetes mellitus, their symptoms, complications, and management. Follow up in collaboration with PUSKESMAS staff is needed to maintain the effects of health education and the health check-up in the form of similar community services or on other health topics as required by the community.

Efforts to prevent acute respiratory infections (ARI) are very important, because of the ease of transmission and can cause death. Health data from the Desa Gunung Sari Health Center, Kecamatan Pamijahan, Kabupaten Bogor in 2017 indicated that ARI was the most frequent complaint. The purpose of this community service is to educate health cadres about ARI. In addition, an examination of uric acid levels was held for the people of Desa Gunung Sari which was a series of counseling activities. The method used is counseling and direct examination. The counseling participants were 45 people and the uric acid examination was 146 people. The results showed that the cadres listened well to the counseling material, as seen in the correct answers to spontaneous questions during the counseling. The community's uric acid levels were mostly in the normal category and education helps increase public understanding of ARI. Thus, the continuity of similar activities is very much needed.

The aims of this study is to explain how the application of community service for the education of defending the country in the Sealift Command North Jakarta. The sub focus of this research are: 1) the organizational structure of Sealift Command North Jakarta, 2) the culture of Sealift Command North Jakarta in providing community services, and the capital found in Sealift Command in providing services to thesociety. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and uses quota samples. The research population was the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) in Sealift Command North Jakarta who were in charge of providing services to the public in their state defense education. The data obtained based on observations, interviews, questionnaires, and then analyzed by triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the organizational structure formed was headed by a Commander of Sealift Command. The Commander is assisted by the Sealift Chief of Staff and there are 5 assistants to assist the C.O. The community service is carried out by the Maritime Potential Assistant and the Head of the Information Office who provide information in the form of direction and services to the people who visit Sealift Command North Jakarta. In order for the services to be delivered well, Kolinlamil adhered to the Navy's Doctrine of Discipline, Honorary and Hierarchy. In addition, Kolinlamil carried out an inventory of his capital in an effort to provide good service to the community were carried out by the Potential Maritime Sealift Commander Assistant (Aspotmar) who is domiciled and is responsible to the C.O of Kolinlamil. KKN merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di daerah tertentu atau lembaga pendidikan, dilaksanakan secara kelompok, terintegrasi antar jurusan, terkoordinasi di tingkat Fakultas, Kegiatan KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) dilakukan secara online yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman kerja nyata di lapangan dalam bidang apapun yang membentuk sikap mandiri dan tanggung jawab dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan di lapangan. KKN juga bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraannya. Kegiatan KKN dibagi menjadi empat tahap kegiatan, yaitu pembekalan, pelaksaaan kegiatan secara daring agar dapat mencegah penyebaran COVID-19 dan penyusunan laporan, dan evaluasi. Pelaksanaan KKN ini dimulai dari tanggal 1 agustus 2020 sampai dengan 31 Agustus 2020 di Desa Karangmulya Kecamatan Telukjambe Barat Kabupaten Karawang. DesaKarang Mulya merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Teluk jambe Barat.Yang letak geografisnya dekat sekali dengan kota Karawang. Sebagian besar penduduknya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani,ada juga yang berprofresi sebagai guru ,home industry,dan juga berdagang. Kondisi perekonomian masyarakat pada umumnya mengandalkan pertanian.   Desa Karang Mulya terletak sangat dekat dengan Kantor Kecamatan Telukjambe Barat,jika ditempuh dengan memakai kendaraan dapat menghabiskan waktu selama ± 10 menit menggunakan kendaraan bermotor.   Jumlah luas tanah DesaKarang Mulya seluruhnya mencapai 425,0000 ha dan terdiri dari tanah darat dan tanah sawah. Wilayah Desa Karang Mulya yang beriklim tropik basah memiliki curah hujan sebesar 200-300mm per tahun. Iklim di Desa Karang Mulya terdapat dua musim yaitu musim hujan dan musim kemarau.Musim hujan terjadi pada bulan November hingga Mei.Sedangkan musim kemarau umumnya terjadi pada bulan Juni sampai Oktober. Desa Karang Mulya memiliki intensitas curah hujan sedang sehingga suhu udara tinggi dan kategori ini cukup baik untuk dapat mendukung kegiatan masyarakat dalam bidang pertanian. Sumber air yang digunakan oleh warga Desa Karang MulyaKecamatan Telukjambe Barat untuk keperluan sehari-hari adalah sumur gali dan air pam. Kata Kunci : KKN, Karangmulya, Telukjambebarat KKN is a community service activity in certain areas or educational institutions, carried out in groups, integrated between departments, coordinated at the Faculty level, KKN activities (Real Work Lectures) are carried out online which aims to provide real work experience in the field in any field that forms independent attitude and responsibility in carrying out work in the field. KKN also aims to assist the community in increasing knowledge and skills so that it is expected to improve their welfare. KKN activities are divided into four activity stages, namely provisioning, implementing online activities so as to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and compiling reports, and evaluating. The implementation of this Community Service Program starts from August 1st 2020 to August 31th 2020 in Karangmulya Village, Telukjambe Barat District, Karawang Regency. Karang Mulya Village is one of the villages located in Telukjambe Barat Subdistrict, which is geographically very close to the city of Karawang. Most of the population works as farmers, some are teachers, home industry, and also trade. Generally, the economic condition of the people relies on agriculture.   Karang Mulya Village is located very close to the Teluk Jambe Barat District Office, if it is reached by using a vehicle it can take ± 10 minutes using a motorized vehicle.   The total land area of Karang Mulya Village reaches 425,0000ha and consists of overland land and paddy fields. The area of Karang Mulya Village, which has a wet tropical climate, has rainfall of 200-300mm per year. The climate in Karang Mulya Village has two seasons, namely the rainy season and the dry season. The rainy season occurs from November to May. Meanwhile, the dry season generally occurs from June to October. Karang Mulya Village has moderate rainfall intensity so that the air temperature is high and this category is good enough to be able to support community activities in agriculture. Background: Anemia has a very negative effect, especially for babies in the womb, including it can cause miscarriage, babies born not quite months, babies are not fully developed, bleeding during childbirth, irregular contractions, disruption during the delivery process and susceptibility to infection can even result in a lack of production of breast milk. Aim of community services is to improve knowledge about prevention of anemia. Methods: The implementation of community service activities is carried out in two different places because it is still in the COVID-19 pandemic period and to reduce crowds. Results: pregnant women who attended were very enthusiastic, after processing the questionnaire before and after the provision of health education, there was an increase in knowledge. Conclusion: Implementation of providing health education to increase knowledge for the community with risks that may occur with the condition of the community is very necessary to be done Apart from being an enhancer and an increase in knowledge, it is also an action to reduce the risk of health problems for the community.

Myanmar is the developing country and its education system is not yet to international level. Hence, most of the young adults, who like to upgrade their knowledge global wide and to gain international recognized higher educational certificates, choose to study overseas rather than continuing higher education after their high education nowadays, that becomes the trend of young people to study overseas since the competency among the people is getting intense based on the education level in every industry. The purpose of this research is to understand that students’ decision making process of selecting university. The study will be conducted to see clear trend of Myanmar students’ decision making of studying in abroad. This research will cover the context of what is Myanmar students’ perception of abroad, how they consider among other countries and explaining those factors which determine Myanmar students’ choice and how they decide to study abroad.

Doing physical activity can make the body fit and increase the body's immunity to be able to fight the virus during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on this, sports activities are needed to invite people to maintain their physical health through healthy exercise activities which are held aimed at increasing people's interest in exercising during the Covid-19 pandemic during new normal so that their body endurance is better. This community service (PKM) is a form of real work from the Hamzanwadi University Physical Education and Health Study Program for the people of South Pringgasela Village to participate in healthy gymnastics as an effort to prevent Covid-19. Healthy gymnastics activities can increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining health in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic.
