Video recording has recently become an accessible, unobtrusive, and increasingly inexpensive way of making a permanent record of theatrical performances. This might seem to anticipate a revolution in theatre studies, once the theatre of the present has become the object of study by future generations: yet little thought has been given to the dramaturgical or the pedagogic implications of this new tool. How, for example, will the medium affect the message it transmits, by the way in which it makes permanent what is in essence ephemeral, and ‘fixes’ what is constantly changing? Marco de Marinis here offers some tentative thoughts about the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of the audiovisual recording of theatre, intended not so much to present a definitive methodology as to clear the ground of some prevailing mistakes and misconceptions. His paper was first presented to a round-table at the Prato Centre for Theatre Semiotics in February 1983.

Preweaning mortality generally accounts for 10-20% of all piglets born alive. A better understanding of the reasons for this mortality should help reduce losses.Data from 493 litters born over a period of 18 months were analysed to investigate the timing, apparent cause and predisposing factors of piglet mortality. To examine in more detail the way in which deaths occur a continuous video recording was made for the first 48 h. after farrowing for 31 litters. The way in which any deaths happened and the events leading up to them were then examined in detail.

The study of living Qur'an is one of the studies in the form of scientific research on social events in the Muslim community by positioning the Qur'an as the main behavior and actions in daily life. From there, it will be seen how they react continuously and live up to the values of the al-Qur'an in their community. The study of the Living Qur'an appears as a phenomenon of the Qur'an in everyday life, namely the function and meaning of the Qur'an is understood and practiced by the Muslim community in real terms in everyday life. Unlike the study of the Koran which only focuses on the al-Qur'an as an object of study that focuses on the textuality of the Qur'an it self, while the living Al-Qur'an is more focused on the way people position the Qur'an. In his daily life. One example of this living Qur'an practice is the tradition of Free Lunch after Friday prayers at the Jogokariyan Mosque. In this tradition, the Muslim community tries to live up to the value of sodaqoh contained in the Al-Qur'an surah al-Baqarah verse 261. This tradition emerged in the community as a form of social tradition with the aim of providing assistance in the form of free lunch (free lunch) to Friday congregation.

We have taken part to an exceptionally rich colloquium, characterized by a large amount of information in all fields of physics, and a remarkable collection of observational data. Our understanding of what is going on inside the stars has changed in a radical manner during the last years, on one side because the observations are bringing new kinds of information, and on the other side because theory in its development is taking into account a number of processes, some of them having been completely ignored only ten years ago.It is impossible to draw here a complete list of problems. There are many cases where some inconsistency could be found in the theory itself or some contradiction between observational data and theory. I recommended that such a list should be drawn carefully. The participants to the round table discussion will give their contribution, helping to open the way to new fields of research and to new discoveries.

The concept of humans as relational individuals living in a milieu can provide some solutions to various obstacles of theorization that are standing in the way of an ethics of sustainability. The idea of a milieu was developed by Tetsuro Watsuji as a web of signification and symbols. It refers to the environment as lived by a subjective relational human being and not as artificially objectified. The milieu can neither be separated from its temporal—or historical—dimension as it is directly related to the “now” of perceptions and actions in the world. In other words, elements of the natural milieu can be said to have a constitutive value as they contribute to our well-being by helping us make sense of our life and our world. In their temporal and relational dimensions, Watsuji’s notions of the milieu and human being are thus directly related to the notion of sustainability. This concept offers some convincing solutions to overcoming the problem of temporal distance, by shifting the center of argumentation from unknown, passive, and biologically dependent not-yet- born people to the transmission of a meaningful historical milieu. The turning point here is that if what matters is the survival of ideal and material projects that people live (and sometimes die) for, then future generations have tremendous power over them, as the actions of those future people will determine the success or failure of the projects started by present generations.

To solve the problems such as hand measurement, experience design and not consider area utilization of pallet, the paper researched the flow and method of size design of corrugated box when it was regularly placed in the standard pallet. The paper designed a new method to calculate the size of corrugated box which was “from outside to inside, and then from inside to outside” through optimize the way of arrangement and the number of product in which the object of study was assumed by taking product as quasi-square and cylinder and outer packaging container as corrugated box. Both the standard pallet sizes and product dimensions were considered, and it provide theoretical basis for preparing related computer software. At the same time, it ensure pallet utilization and volume rate of corrugated box, reduce transport cost farthest and realize the goal of packaging reduction.

Palavras-chave: Adolescência; Ensino de Ciências; Formação Continuada de Professores de Ciências Perceptions about adolescence by science teachersAbstract: We discussed perceptions about adolescence of a Science teachers group who attended an extension course. Although, we conducted a qualitative research in education with a focus on school routine, which included as research tools: video recording material, teachers productions and the researcher`s notes. In this analysis, we used some of Moscovici`s ideas for social representations. We found slightly divergent perceptions in relation to adolescents stereotypes that are socially disseminated. Even though advances have occurred (such as the recognition of adolescents characteristics, references and etc.) towards the scientific concepts worked on that course. We expect greater attention on adolescence in the training of Science teachers, since these perceptions are present in the way that teachers exercise their work. Keywords: Adolescence; Science Teaching; Continuing Education of Science Teachers.

ABSTRACT: Based on the Discourse Analysis (AD) of French orientation, this article aims at discussing the functioning of the humor discourse associated with the circulation of the stereotypes of the Brazilian caipira on the internet. Thecorpus comprises a set of jokes published on the portal Humortardela and on the website AnimaTunes, from which we analyze, based on studies of Possenti (1998, 2010), the production conditions of the humor discourse. For the analysis of this object of study on the digital environment, we take into account the notion of electronic discourse, from Orlandi (2013), as well as the studies of Bergson (2007), Raskin (1985), Skinner (2002) about laughter and humor. We also put together the concepts of scenes of enunciation, developed by Maingueneau (2008), and stereotypes, of Amossy & Hershberg Pierrot (1997), in order to understand how the representations of the caipira emerge in the processes of humor enunciation. From the analysis results, we intend to verify the way the representations of the caipira are challenged in interdiscourse and how the internet contributes for the circulation of the caipira stereotypes on the web in its relation with humor.
This thesis investigates the importance of connecting children to the landscape through creating child led designs. It explores the process undertaken when designing with children and shows how unconventional spaces called playscapes can benefit a child further than a standard playground. This thesis is taking place as research shows that too many children are spending time indoors, away from their outside environment. The disconnect has led to obvious developmental deficiencies within younger children which have, in turn, led to educational, social and physical problems as the child grows. The problem not only affects the household but the whole community as these children grow. For this thesis, the research context situated in Masterton, Wairarapa, two hours from Wellington City, due to the increasing growth within the Wairarapa region. Masterton has already recognised the issues surrounding under-developed children however there has been no move in creating a playscape specifically for them. The main theory is to show a process where children are directly involved in the design and how their input can pave the way for a beneficial playscape, giving another dimension to the designed space as adult’s imagination becomes warped with the constructs of reality and the sense of play diminishes. This process will use several workshops to understand how a child works and invite them to create spaces and interventions that reflect their idea of play. Combined with design, these spaces became a collaboration of the children’s outcomes as well as a space that can create connections between the past, present and future generations. Throughout this thesis, a link to children will establish itself with the aim to create a landscape that children can relate to and grow through advancing their development. Through the environmental connection, the design will bring the children back to their ancestry and understand the relationship to the landscape that their ancestors had whether Maori or European.
