Similarities and contrasts between various biblical principles and behavioral approaches related to establishing positive behavior and eliminating negative behavior are discussed. Examination of the Bible reveals that it is to a substantial degree a behavior-oriented book. Similarities between biblical principle and behavior technology are shown. Although precautions must be taken in adopting a particular behavioral approach to ascertain whether it is consistent with the Bible in terms of its methods and goals, behavioral technology is concluded to be broadly consistent with the biblical view of man.

Children's ministry is very motivating for the church and child servants because it affects the growth of the child's faith. One of them is the ministry of evangelism. Evangelism is the message of salvation and judgment in Christ Jesus. Children aged 5 - 10 years do not usually understand and interpret themselves as "Christians" because they only follow what their parents do and do. = 'So it is necessary to teach through evangelism to these children. The question is how does a minister convey the "gospel" message to children so that it can be understood easily and what are the results of the ministry? This paper has two purposes. First, the servant understands the method or way of a servant to convey the "gospel" message simply. Second, so that children better understand the true meaning of the Bible. The research method used is qualitative by interviewing sources to examine and understand the attitudes, views, feelings and behavior of an individual or group of people and literature research to support this writing.

Max Weber was neither a theologian nor an economist. He did not aspire to advocate, refine, or refute the doctrines taught in the Bible, by Augustine, Thomas, Luther, Calvin, Wesley, Schleiermacher, any other major Christian thinker. Instead, he is the founder of a mode of social science that sought to account for changes and variations in economic and political attitudes, structures, and behavior in different social contexts and over time. These include religious contexts. Christians have always attended to ethical issues raised by economic life and they have reservoirs of theories about work, exploitation, honesty in dealings, theft, covetousness, gluttony, usury, taxes, charity, wealth and poverty, just wages, fair prices, slavery, hospitality, the blessings of plenty, the need for generosity, etc. How should the discipline of economics take religion, faith-based ethics, and theology into account? In what senses was Weber right, that economics should take theology and faith-based ethics seriously?

Christians in general and American evangelicals in particular are increasingly using digital media to access Scripture, but it is unclear how this shift is influencing the behaviors they value most: regular reading and in-depth study. Using survey data, assessments of comprehension, and daily reading progress, this study examines how engagement with the Bible varies between print and screens. Results indicated that American evangelicals use a combination of print and digital forms of Scripture based on the kind of engagement they want to carry out (devotional reading, in-depth study, prayer, etc.). The data also suggest readers have lower comprehension when reading the Bible on screens compared to print. Readers using mobile devices are more likely to engage scripture daily than those using printed Bibles, and these effects are more pronounced in male readers than female readers.

AbstractThe target article by Boyer & Petersen (B&P) contributes a vital message: that people have folk economic theories that shape their thoughts and behavior in the marketplace. This message is all the more important because, in the history of economic thought, Homo economicus was increasingly stripped of mental capacities. Intuitive theories can help restore the mind of Homo economicus.

Abstract We identify the significance and typical requirements of developmental analyses of the microbiome-gut-brain (MGB) in parents, offspring, and parent-offspring relations, which have particular importance for neurobehavioral outcomes in mammalian species, including humans. We call for a focus on behavioral measures of social-emotional function. Methodological approaches to interpreting relations between the microbiota and behavior are discussed.
