AbstractThis research purposes to analyze the improvement of scientific attitudes, student learning outcomes, responses by utilizing environment media in subject of preservation living environment and sustainable development geography subject of XI Social-3 class at SMA Negeri 1 Angsana in 2017. This research used classroom action research. Subject of this research is students of class XI Social-3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana, it has 34 people. The technique of collecting data used observation sheet or questionnaire and written test. The result of the research shows the improvement of scientific attitude students obtained in the first cycle average 67,19% with enough category, and the second cycles has increased average 79,00% with good category. Learning outcomes in the first cycle students who achieve a minimum mastery of learning as much as 22 people (64,7%) with enough category and the second cycles has increasedas much as 30 people (88,2) with very good category. The students response in the first cycle with very good category has increased98,23% with very good category. The result of this research can be concluded that study by utilizing environment as learning media can increase the scientific attitude science, learning outcomes and positive response in geography subject in preservation living environment and sustainable development class XI Social-3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana, Tanah Bumbu regency. Learning by utilizing environment as media can motivate, fun, creative, thinking scientific and students learning outcomeare increasing.Key words: Environment media, scientific attitude students, learning outcomes AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peningkatan sikap ilmiah, hasil belajar siswa dan tanggapan (respon) dengan memanfaatkan media lingkungan pada pokok bahasan pelestarian lingkungan hidup dan pembangunan berkelanjutan mata pelajaran geografi kelas XI IPS3 di SMA Negeri 1 Angsana tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana yang berjumlah 34 orang. Teknik pengumpuilan data menggunakan lembar observasi atau angket dan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan sikap ilmiah siswa yang diperoleh pada siklus I rata-rata 67,19% dengan kategori cukup, dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan rata-rata 79,00% dengan kategori baik. Hasil belajar siklus I siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan sebanyak 22 orang (64,7%) dengan kategori cukup dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan ketuntasan sebanyak 30 orang (88,2%) dengan kategori amat baik. Respon siswa pada siklus I dengan kategori sangat baik mengalami peningkatan 98,23% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa belajar dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah, hasil belajar dan respon positif siswa mata pelajaran geografi pada pokok bahasan pelestarian lingkungan hidup dan pembangunan berkelanjutan kelas XI  IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu. Pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sebagai media dapat memotivasi, menyenangkan, kreatif, berpikir ilmiah dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat.Kata Kunci: Media Lingkungan, Sikap Ilmiah, Hasil Belajar

The attitude of students during the learning process is essential to be known by an educator to understand how to deal with students in the class. This study aims to determine how students 'attitudes towards science subjects and this study also aim to determine whether there is a comparison of students' attitudes towards natural science subjects in junior high schools in Indonesia. This research was conducted at some state junior high schools in Jambi. Specifically, the research sites were Junior High School 5, Junior High School 6, and Junior High School 26 in Jambi. The research design used in this study was a quantitative approach with survey methods. The research instrument was a science attitude questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that students' attitudes toward science subjects based on indicators of adoption of scientific attitudes, fun in learning science, and interest in increasing the time to study science were in good categories and also there are significant differences of students’ attitude towards science subjects in the three schools with a comparison value of 0.042 < 0.05.

This research is a descriptive study with the aim to analyze metacognitive skills and scientific attitudes of biology students on Genetic materials through inquiry learning models. This research was carried out in Universitas Gunung Leuser Aceh. The sample in this study is Biology students in semester VI totaled 24 students. Data on the ability of metacognitive skills were obtained by questionnaire while scientific attitude data were obtained by observation sheets. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques. The results is that the metacognitive skills of students is in the very good category (80,50%) while the students’ scientific attitude is in the good category (72,29%). The result shows that the inquiry learning models can improve biology students’ metacognitive abilities and scientific attitudes on Genetic materials.

This study aims to determine learning outcomes and the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study programs using virtual lab. This type of research is quantitative research. It uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential stattistics to illustrate data learning outcomes and the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study Universitas Flores using the virtual lab. Data collection techniques used in this study were test for learning outcomes and observatory techniques for the scientific attitude. From the results of descriptive analysis for learning outcomes, it shows that the average is 75,05 in the enough category. The results of inferential statistics show t count is 2,770, sig(2-tailed) 0,011. Because the sig(2-tailed) value of 0,011 is smaller than 0,05, thus it can be concluded that use of the virtual lab influences the learning outcomes. For the scientific attitudes it shows that the average is 76,14 in the enough category. The results of inferential statistics show t count is 3,875, sig(2-tailed) 0,001. Because the sig(2-tailed) value of 0,001 is smaller than 0,05, thus it can be concluded that use of the virtual lab influences the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study Universitas Flores.Keywords: Virtual Lab, Learning Outcomes, Scientific AttitudePenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Flores dengan menggunakan virtual laboratorium. Dari hasil analisis deskriptif untuk hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa adalah 75,05 dalam kategori cukup, sedangkan hasil statistik inferensial menunjukkan nilai t hitung 2,770, sig(2-tailed) 0,011. Karena nilai sig(2-tailed) 0,011 lebih kecil dari 0,05 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan virtual laboratorium berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar fisika mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Flores. Scientific attitude towards science education facilitates twenty first century learning and provides a strong foundation for learners academic achievement. Science education at secondary level is placed as a backbone towards higher secondary level. The focus of the present study was to investigate the instructors and learners scientific attitudes towards physics at secondary level. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires by using survey research from 1000 random sampled respondents i.e. instructors and learners. Multistage stratified sampling technique was applied in the present research and the collected data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics. A low level of learners attitude towards physics was found which reflects in learners academic achievement level in physics. Scientific approach among learners can be promoted through instructors attitudes towards physics at the secondary level, which will be beneficial for the development of Pakistan.
