A complex of tasks that can be solved using mathematical models of the dependence of consumed energy resources on influencing factors are considered in the article. The main type of model for industrial consumers with a simple relationship between energy and technology, is the one-factor model “consumed energy resource-volume of output”. For industrial consumers with a complex relationship between energy and technology, the mathematical model of the dependence of energy resources on technology is determined by several factors. Methods for assessing the current state of energy efficiency, as well as predicting it for the future in the context of the introduction of energy saving measures and changes in the production program were proposed.

To assess the production capacity of a construction and installation organization, the actual volume of work performed for a certain period and planned indicators for the use of certain resources are used. Since the state of production facilities depends not only on the production program, but also on the current state of labor resources, the actual task is to choose the most effective criteria for planning and evaluating the production capacity of a construction and installation organization. In formulating the criteria, the author was guided by the theory, allowing to establish the relationship between the production capacity of building-assembling organizations and production program and capabilities assessment and planning of production capacity for the coefficients of their extensive and intensive use. The study made it possible to form a system of indicators for planning and evaluating the production capacity of a construction and installation organization. The purpose of forming a system of indicators for planning and evaluating production capacities is to take into account in the calculations not only the actual and planned volumes of construction and installation works, but also indicators that reflect the current state of labor resources. The study revealed that through the formation of a system of evaluation indicators, taking into account the impact on production capacity of quantitative and qualitative factors expressed in the structure of labor resources, their qualifications on the one hand, as well as the rhythm and load of the construction and installation organization on the other hand.

Energy Security of the state: Comparative analysis and Improving the Regulatory frameworks for energy, resource efficiency of buildings in Ukraine and in the EU. The article was the analysis and compare existing regulatory frameworks for energy and resource efficiency of various buildings in Ukraine and in the EU. The main assignment of the present research is studying the current situation and trends towards improvement of the Ukrainian regulatory framework concerning energy saving in the construction engineering sector. With the aim of ensuring energy security of the state determined approaches to effectively addressing the problem of high energy consumption. Efficient solution of the high energy resources consumption problem in the field of industrial and civil engineering is only possible with an integrated approach. It is necessary both to control heat losses by means of walling and to reduce energy consumption for conditioning buildings, ventilation air transporting, etc. To successfully solve the problem of high energy resources consumption, it is necessary to improve the total costs of producing electricity, heat/cold, to minimize losses on their way from the energy manufacturer to the consumer. The article presents: energy classification houses by European standards, proved the need to develop the existing regulations energy efficiency in Ukraine; the experience of European countries for energy certification in order to introduce in Ukraine; the structure of the legislative framework of Ukraine in the sphere of energy efficiency of buildings; implementing European practices energy conservation in Ukraine; development of recommendations on adaptation of Ukraine standards to EU; the formation of proposals for  deepening energy cooperation between Ukraine and the EU. The Russian fuel-energy complex (FEC) is the basis without normal functioning of which the sustainable development of economy is made impossible; especially impressive it is revealed in the east of the country where the FEC sectors contribute most significantly to the industrial production. Besides, the diversification of the export flows of the fuel and energy resources (FER) considerably increases the role of the eastern direction in Russias economic policy. All this determines the topicality of studying the processes of FEC development in the eastern regions (Siberia and the Far East) using mathematical modelling. The purpose of investigation is to carry out an energy-economic analysis, identification of FEC development problems in the eastern regions and specifying the main ways to overcome them. The research methods are system analysis, economic and mathematic modelling and indicative methods. Results of the study: on the basis of the available statistic information the fuel-energy balances (FEB) of the Russias eastern regions have been developed, an analysis of the FEC current state has been made, the main problems of its development have been identified, the most important factors that impact the energy efficiency of economy have been determined, using the model tools the long-term FEC development forecast has been carried out. The conclusions: the current state of the eastern regions FEC allow to provide the economy with necessary quantity of FER, yet the problems exist that limit the FEC development which can hinder the economy to develop massively. It is necessary to implement the measures that provide the energy efficiency in all spheres of economic activity, as well as to change the structure of the FEB in Russias eastern regions in the direction of more rational use of the fuel and energy resources ( FER) and to scale up the introduction of of technological innovations, all this will allow to increase the energy efficiency of the economy.

The relation between authoritarianism and social dominance orientation was analyzed, with authoritarianism measured using a three-dimensional scale. The implicit multidimensional structure (authoritarian submission, conventionalism, authoritarian aggression) of Altemeyer’s (1981, 1988) conceptualization of authoritarianism is inconsistent with its one-dimensional methodological operationalization. The dimensionality of authoritarianism was investigated using confirmatory factor analysis in a sample of 713 university students. As hypothesized, the three-factor model fit the data significantly better than the one-factor model. Regression analyses revealed that only authoritarian aggression was related to social dominance orientation. That is, only intolerance of deviance was related to high social dominance, whereas submissiveness was not.

The article discusses the future of mobility in the light of energy resources. Fossil fuel will not be available for a long time - not to mention its growing environmental and political conflicts. In analysing the potential of biofuel it is argued that the high demands of modern mobility can hardly be fulfilled in the future. Furthermore, the change into using biofuel will probably lead to increasing conflicts between the fuel market and the food market, as well as to conflicts with regional agricultural networks in the third world. Petrol imperialism might be replaced by bio imperialism. Therefore, mobility on a solar base pursues a double strategy of raising efficiency on the one hand and strongly reducing mobility itself on the other.

In the article the global crisis of 2008-2009 is considered as superposition of a few regional crises that occurred simultaneously but for different reasons. However, they have something in common: developed countries tend to maintain a strong level of social security without increasing the real production output. On the one hand, this policy has resulted in trade deficit and partial destruction of market mechanisms. On the other hand, it has clashed with the desire of several oil and gas exporting countries to receive an exclusive price for their energy resources.

Podkarpackie Voivodeship is one of the regions of Poland in which the number of agritourism entities is very high. Therefore tourism plays a significant role in its development strategy. The aim of the paper is to identify the current state of agritourism and the changes that have occurred in the region in the years 2000–2016. Specific objectives are to determine the distribution of agritourism farms and their offer, together with a comprehensive analysis of the environmental and socio-economic factors, as well as the impact of the Slovak-Ukrainian border. The report was developed on the statistical materials from the Polish Central Statistical Office, Podkarpackie Agricultural Advisory Centre in Boguchwała and data collected from municipalities and district offices that is published on their websites, as well as through interviews with 100 owners of agritourism farms in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The research has shown, on the one hand, the decline in the number of farms in the region and, on the other hand, the increase in the diversity of the tourist offer of these entities. Distribution of agritourism farms is closely linked to the attractiveness of natural environment and quality of secondary tourism resources. Traditional agritourism has not yet fully used its countryside, as well as cross-border advantages of its location.

Currently, the forest biomass energy development is at an initial stage and the estimation method for the forest biomass energy resource reserve is to be unified and refined although there is a great value and potential in the development and utilization of forest biomass energy in China. Based on the existing studies, the present paper analyzes the origins and types of forest biomass energy resources in the perspective of sustainable forestry management, constructs the estimation model using a bottom-up approach, and estimates the total existing forest biomass energy resource reserve in China based on the data of the 7th Forest Resource Survey. The estimation method and the calculation results provide the important theoretical ground for promoting the rational development of forest biomass energy in China.

The significant offshore wind energy potential of Oregon faces several challenges, including a power grid which was not developed for the purpose of transmitting energy from the ocean. The grid impacts of the energy resource are considered through the lenses of (i) resource complementarity with Variable Renewable Energy resources; (ii) correlations with load profiles from the four balancing authorities with territory in Oregon; and (iii) spatial value to regional and coastal grids as represented through a production cost model of the Western Interconnection. The capacity implications of the interactions between offshore wind and the historical east-to-west power flows of the region are discussed. The existing system is shown to accommodate more than two gigawatts of offshore wind interconnections with minimal curtailment. Through three gigawatts of interconnection, transmission flows indicate a reduction of coastal and statewide energy imports as well as minimal statewide energy exports.
