The paper considers the possibility of studying the potential for the effectiveness of the economic and visual model and reducing operating costs in the development of construction facilities. Methods of visual modelling are presented, which make it possible to effectively implement construction organization projects. The economic and visual model contributes to the formation of the element base of rational economic, organizational and technological solutions. The following methods were used: system analysis, logical-mathematical modelling, systems theory, economic and visual modelling, research methods of operations, economic and mathematical methods. The modern experience of using the model has been studied. On the basis of an analytical review regarding economic and visual modelling, the works of domestic and foreign authors are studied. The element base of the optimal solution of organizational and technological processes is formed on the basis of the information model (BIM). The conducted analytical review of the study of materials on the practical application of the economic and visual model on the territory of the Russian Federation based on the results of the theoretical study confirms that there is no alternative to improving the formation of new information systems for modelling the organization of

The use of information technology in the management of construction projects has become a decisive factor for the successful completion of projects, taking into account time, quality and financial costs. There are challenges in visualizing the planning process and integrating information between stakeholders. The paper considers some aspects of the development trend of information technology in construction. The element base, including the risks arising during the design and construction, associated with the direct use of computer and mathematical models of the object in the design is considered. The generated information models will provide basic information for the participants in the design process, which ultimately will be the basis of the element base of an effective tool for ensuring project life cycle management. The following methods were used: system analysis, logical-mathematical modelling, systems theory, economic-visual modelling, research methods of operations, economic and mathematical methods. A basic block diagram of 4D modelling is presented to minimize the occurrence of risks during design. The model allows considering the possibility of assessing the duration of the project, the level of labour productivity, as well as visualizing the construction process. The presented analysis indicates the importance of using 4D modelling in relation to the life cycle of the object in order to prevent the possibility of construction risks.

When designing radioelectronic devices, that are included in the composition of various systems, it is important to solve broadband matching problem and filtering problem. However, usually these problems are separated and not considered together. Moreover, the synthesis of filters does not take into account the behavior of impedances of the generator and the load in the stopbands. The solution of the complex problem is actual, since it allows expanding the functionality of the device, which can greatly simplify the construction of the radio engineering product. It should be noted that in the known literature solution of this problem in such a formulation is not considered. The aim of the work is to develop a synthesis method and algorithm of broadband devices that connect arbitrary immitances of the generator and the load, and these devices should perform simultaneously functions of both matching and filtering in reactive lumped electric element base and in distributed electric element base, limited only by transmission lines with T-waves. In this paper, a two-stage automated method of synthesis presented here stage allows at the first to adequately find a good initial solution to the posed problem (determining structure and parameters of the broadband matching and filtering quadrupole), in the second stage this approach allows to find the optimal solution to the complex problem, taking into account the constraints on physical and circuit realizability. In this work, the synthesis of broadband matching and filtering devices in lumped and distributed electrical element basis is carried out, and these devices connect complex impedances of the source and the load. The characteristics of the devices obtained after the synthesis show that the solution of the complex problem of matching and filtering gives a significant improvement in filtering properties with small losses in the level of transmitted power.

A new FEA based design approach of optimal robust fixture configuration is proposed in this paper, which employs a surrogate model through computer experiment to significantly reduce the intensive computing effort involving numerous FEA system response evaluations. The effects of the fixture variability to the workpiece performance variability are assessed through an efficient robustness evaluation method, First Order Reliability Method (FORM), based on the surrogate computer model. Not restricted to primary datum surface, this new approach enables simultaneous determination of robust locator/clamp locations and clamping forces for a deformable workpiece and thus captures interaction between locating and clamping. The effectiveness of this approach is illustrated though an application example. The results of robustness analysis reveal new information and suggest that the optimal solution resulted from deterministic optimization may not be the best solution when the design is subjected to variability.

The COVID-19 pandemic has really become a real shock for the whole world. The way of life has changed not only for people, but also for companies in various industries. Today, the real estate market, like many other industries, is in conditions of economic instability. The study highlights the problems faced by the construction sector in the current conditions of the coronavirus pandem-ic. One of these problems is the sustainable competitiveness of construction and its compliance with new consumer preferences. Aim. The study of the influence of engineering solutions and other fac-tors on the competitiveness of construction in modern economic conditions, the definition of key criteria. Development and description of the decision-making methodology for choosing the optimal construction enterprise from the point of view of competitiveness. Materials and methods. The methods of system analysis, optimization methods, hierarchy analysis and decision theory are ap-plied in the work. Within the framework of the proposed methodology, the author's method of identifying key competitiveness criteria has been developed. Since the problem of choosing the optimal solution from among the alternatives is based on a multi-criteria approach, the use of this method is quite appropriate. The template for the formation of the methodology was identified based on the analy-sis of existing research in this area. Results. The author summarizes and supplements the criteria and factors affecting the competitiveness of construction organizations in the study. The author's method of making a decision on determining the optimal construction enterprise from the point of view of competitiveness based on the criteria considered by the author is presented. This technique includes several stages: 1) forming a goal; 2) formation of criteria by which organizations will be evaluated; 3) calculation of criteria for each organization and bringing them to a homogeneous type of data; 4) building a tree of goals and a matrix of priorities; 5) Determining the values of priority vectors for each organization under study. Conclusion. The total influence of criteria and engineering solutions on the competitiveness of construction is determined. In this regard, the implementation of the con-struction project should be carried out taking into account the strategic goals of the organization and binding to the identified criteria. The proposed methodology is developed for Russian construc-tion companies operating in modern economic conditions.

Modern system accuracy studies require high fidelity representations of environmental phenomena in order to accurately predict the down range performance of a gun system. One component of the atmosphere that has not been studied in great detail within the ballistic domain is turbulence. The current portrayal of wind leveraged by system analysis efforts ignores this element of atmospheric motion completely and thus its effects on down range dispersion have not been quantified. As a first step in addressing this deficiency, this study develops a methodology for generating synthetic turbulent wind signals along the flight path of a projectile. This goal is accomplished by integrating the work of several authors, developing techniques to fill knowledge gaps, and tailoring the solution to the direct fire domain. The significant contributions of the presented effort include mean flow direction agnostic spectral functions, provisions to account for the non-homogeneity of turbulence parameters along a trajectory, and a higher fidelity signal generation method than was used in previous work. The new information is applied to a sample engagement scenario in order to demonstrate the realization of the given techniques within the small caliber direct fire domain.

The green and sustainable construction has become a popular topic, especially with the respect of the green house gas emissions. Meanwhile, the estimation of the CO2 emission during the construction is an important process among the CO2 emission management. The paper carries out the empirical research on the construction CO2 emission based on the EPA non-road modeling and a real case. Firstly, the research methodology is developed based on the EPA non-road modeling. Then, based on a real case, the total CO2 emission of the project and the CO2 emission of each machine are calculated. Finally, other scenarios are considered and compared, and the optimal solution is found. The proposed methodology provides an accurate, consistent & realistic quantification method of CO2 emissions at micro level during construction, which will be of benefit to the green and sustainable construction.

Sixteenth-century approaches to the world of nature remained resolutely bound to ancient texts. Hostility to the medieval past, new theories, new experiences, and new information were evidently abundantly present. But medieval predecessors were far more likely to be criticized for failure to understand ancient authority than for slavish dependence on it; dissatisfaction with intellectual tradition was apt to express itself in form of a call for return to the ideas of ancients who preceded the standard school authors in time; and in every branch of natural philosophy, natural history, and medicine, examination of the writings of ancient Greek authors was a major, perhaps the major, part of the task of the investigator. Innovators — some of them very bold and some very eccentric indeed — reworked, recombined, and criticized the ancients, or measured their teachings against modern experience; but they seldom ignored them.

The construction organizations lack adaptive infrastructure. It is required to use more intensively SMART-technologies of design and construction. Purposes of this article: a) the system analysis of categories "competitiveness", "stability", "rating of the company" for the construction organizations; b) to construct and investigate economic and mathematical model of competitiveness of the construction organization; c) to determine parameters of self-organization of construction company; d) to construct an identification algorithm for model. These new tasks also answer the purposes of modern construction business, problems of forecasting of its development. Using methods of the system analysis and modeling, in work three levels of the analysis of construction business are considered: macrolevel (level of the state), mesolevel (level of the region) and microlevel (level of the company). For example, 10 various classes of competitiveness of construction companies are offered. It improves the classification used traditionally. The new economic and mathematical model on the basis of production functions of type of Cobb-Douglas is constructed. The algorithm of its identification on the basis of situational scenarios is also developed. The algorithm finds parameters which will allow to define competitiveness of construction company a priori. The offered research has a development, for example, is possible to use for the forecast of adaptation of the enterprise.
