In the following paper, experimental results regarding the effect of explosion pressure are obtained from open field experiments with detonation of explosive charges. In addition, sensors that can be used for security applications for the detection of toxic and explosive compounds, as well as mobile systems for the detection of shock waves due to explosions were used to acquire more detailed results. Sensors are the main components in products and systems used to detect chemicals and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) targeting applications in several fields, such as: industrial production and the automotive industry (detection of polluting gases from cars, medical applications, indoor air quality control. The sensory characteristics of a robot depend very much on its degree of autonomy, the applications for which it was designed and the type of work environment. The sensors can be divided into two categories: internal status sensors (sensors that provide information about the internal status of the mobile robot); external status sensors (sensors that provide information about the environment in which the robot operates). Another classification of these could be: distance sensors, position sensors, environmental sensors - sensors that provide information about various properties and characteristics of the environment (example: temperature, pressure, color, brightness), inertial sensors.

Striving for better protection of people against the effects of bomb explosions in the world of ever-increasing terrorist threats some tendencies have appeared to normalize the resistance of window elevations and facades as well as an individual door and window against detonation of explosive charges. Such standards were developed in the United States and in the European Union, and were also introduced in Poland. These are Polish standards PN – EN 13541 „Glass in Building Industry – Security Glazing – Testing and Classification of Resistance against Explosion Pressure”, PN – EN 13123-2 „Windows, Doors and Shutters – Blast Resistance – Conditions and Classification – Part 2: Range Test” and PN – EN 13124-2 „Windows, Doors and Shutters – Blast Resistance – Testing Method – Part 2 Range Test” with Annexes A and B and also US GSA – TS01 – 2003 standard „Standard Test Method for Glazing and Window Systems Subject to Dynamic Overpressure Loadings”. US standards envisage using much larger explosive charges than EU standards but from a greater distance. In the paper the strength tests of window elevations and facades conducted at the Military Institute of Armaments in Zielonka are discussed.

The article describes the current state of development of beer tourism in Ukraine. In particular, the theoretical aspects of the development of beer tourism are studied: the ambiguity of approaches to the interpretation of the concept of beer tourism is pointed out; the subspecies of beer tourism are singled out and the main components of the beer tour are indicated in terms of their difference from other types of tours. The main variants of classifications of types of beer as the main product of beer tourism on the following signs are described: according to GOST 29018−91; GOST 3473-78, depending on the mass fraction of dry matter in the initial wort and the method of fermentation (the so-called international classification of beer). According to opinion polls, the key parameters of a typical portrait of the average beer consumer, and, consequently, a potential customer of a beer tour are given − gender, age, place of residence, consumer wealth, volume and location of consumption, preferences on type, price and packaging of beer. The economic indicators of the beer industry in Ukraine in the last decade are characterized: the causes and consequences of the beer crisis in Ukraine in 2013-2014, the activities and portfolios of beer brands of key players in the beer market of Ukraine − corporations SUN InBev Ukraine, Carlsberg Ukraine (Carlsberg Ukraine), Oasis CIS («First Private Brewery») and Obolon. The possibilities of craft brewing in Ukraine are analyzed, a brief description of the key craft breweries of Ukraine (VARVAR, PRAVDA Beer Theater, Collider, Tsypa Brewery, Bierwille, White Rabbit, Andrii’s Craft Brewery, K&F Brewery) is given. The information on top locations of beer tourism by regions and the main beer festivals and events of the country is systematized. Problems and perspective directions of development of domestic beer tourism are defined. It was found that the scale of beer tours in Ukraine is not well studied, however, with proper organizational work, beer tourism and, accordingly, beer tours in the country can significantly replenish the amount of tax revenues to local and state budgets, which will lead to effective policy and business revival. activity that will affect the national economy.

Increasing interest in analyzing human gait using various wearable sensors, which is known as Human Activity Recognition (HAR), can be found in recent research. Sensors such as accelerometers and gyroscopes are widely used in HAR. Recently, high interest has been shown in the use of wearable sensors in numerous applications such as rehabilitation, computer games, animation, filmmaking, and biomechanics. In this paper, classification of human daily activities using Ensemble Methods based on data acquired from smartphone inertial sensors involving about 30 subjects with six different activities is discussed. The six daily activities are walking, walking upstairs, walking downstairs, sitting, standing and lying. It involved three stages of activity recognition; namely, data signal processing (filtering and segmentation), feature extraction and classification. Five types of ensemble classifiers utilized are Bagging, Adaboost, Rotation forest, Ensembles of nested dichotomies (END) and Random subspace. These ensemble classifiers employed Support vector machine (SVM) and Random forest (RF) as the base learners of the ensemble classifiers. The data classification is evaluated with the holdout and 10-fold cross-validation evaluation methods. The performance of each human daily activity was measured in terms of precision, recall, F-measure, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. In addition, the performance is also measured based on the comparison of overall accuracy rate of classification between different ensemble classifiers and base learners. It was observed that overall, SVM produced better accuracy rate with 99.22% compared to RF with 97.91% based on a random subspace ensemble classifier.

The unique fruity aroma of strawberries, a popular fruit of high economic value, is closely related to all the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) contained within them. Despite extensive studies on the identification of VOCs in strawberries, systematic studies on fruit-aroma-related VOCs are few, resulting in a lack of effective standards for accurately distinguishing aroma types. In the present study, solid-phase micro extraction and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry were used to analyze and identify VOCs in the ripe fruit of each of the 16 strawberry varieties at home and abroad and to explore their characteristic aroma components and the classification of such varieties by aroma type. The results suggested remarkable variations in the types and contents of VOCs in different strawberry varieties, of which esters were dominant. The principal volatile components, consisting of four esters, three alcohols, one aldehyde, and one ketone, in 16 strawberry varieties were detected based on the absolute and relative contents of VOCs in the fruit. The characteristic aroma components in strawberries, containing nine esters, six aldehydes, and one alcohol, were determined based on the aroma values of different VOCs, and the characteristic aroma components were divided into five types further based on aroma descriptions. Sixteen strawberry varieties were finally divided into four aroma types, namely, peachy, pineapple, fruity, and floral, based on the contributions of different types. The results provided a basis and standard for classifying strawberries by aroma type, studying the hereditary regularity of the fruity aroma of strawberries, and improving aroma quality.

Dry weight, stem and branch length and node number, and flower and fruit number where appropriate, were recorded through the season on cotton, groundnuts, kenaf and sesame in the central rainlands of the Sudan in 1965. For each sampling date variationwithin plotsandbetweenreplicate plots within blocksandtreatmentxblockinteraction have been studied, together with the effect of these components on the magnitude of the residual root mean square in the analysis oftreatmentsxblocks. The main components were usuallywithin plotandbetween replicate plots within blockerrors. Uncontrolled variation was unacceptably great, and was thought to be in large part the result of irregular surface drainage conditions. It seems more likely to be useful to include surface drainage contrasts in field experiments subject to high intensity rainfall on this impermeable clay soil than to attempt to increase precision alone.
