The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of the instructional media based on lecture video and slide synchronization system on Statistics learning achievement of the students of PTI department . The benefit of this research is to help lecturers in the instructional process i to improve student's learning achievements that lead to better students’ learning outcomes. Students can use instructional media which is created from the lecture video and slide synchronization system to support more interactive self-learning activities. Students can conduct learning activities more efficiently and conductively because synchronized lecture video and slide can assist students in the learning process. The population of this research was all students of semester VI (six) majoring in Informatics Engineering Education. The sample of the research was the students of class VI B and VI D of the academic year 2016/2017. The type of research used in this study was quasi-experiment. The research design used was post test only with non equivalent control group design. The result of this research concluded that there was a significant influence in the application of learning media based on lectures video and slide synchronization system on statistics learning result on PTI department.

ABSTRAKSI: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pengaruh interaktif antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar Fisika. Penelitian menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pre-test dan post-test non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa Kelas X MIPA SMAN (Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri) 1 Kubutambahan di Bali, Indonesia, yang terdiri dari empat kelas atau 130 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis kovarian dua jalur. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa diakibatkan oleh perbedaan model pembelajaran. Prestasi belajar yang lebih tinggi diraih oleh siswa yang menerima perlakuan model PBL (Problem Based Learning atau Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah). Perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa juga diakibatkan oleh perbedaan motivasi berprestasi. Prestasi belajar yang lebih tinggi diraih oleh siswa yang memiliki MBT (Motivasi Berprestasi Tinggi). Akhirnya, ada pengaruh interaktif antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestrasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. KATA KUNCI: Model Pembelajaran; Prestasi Belajar; Motivasi; Matapelajaran Fisika. ABSTRACT: “Effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning Model and Student Achievement Motivation in Gaining the Physics Learning Achievements”. The research describes the interactive influence between model of learning and achievement motivation toward Physics learning achievement. The research used a quasi experimental study with pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study were the students of Class X Mathematics and Sciences at the Public Senior High School 1 Kubutambahan in Bali, Indonesia, consisted of four classes or 130 people. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and two-ways analysis of covariance. The results of this study reveal that the student achievement is due to the differences in learning models. Higher learning achievement was achieved by students who received treatment of PBL (Problem Based Learning) model. The differences in student achievement are due to also the differences in achievement motivation. Higher achievement of learning achieved by students who have high achievement motivation. This study was aimed at gaining a comprehensive overview of the influence of hypertext-based history teaching method towards the increase of historical concept understanding. The method used in the study was experimental method, i.e. through non – equivalent control group design (pre-test and post-test). Some points were concluded from the data collected within the study. First, the implemented hypertext-based history teaching model had affected learning activities to focus more on mental activities (thinking process). The whole teaching learning activities benefitted the students a wide chance to study, observe, compose, deliver the questions, answer them, consider others’ view, discuss questions by relating them with textual concepts, and make conclusion together. Second, the hypertext-based history teaching model test showed was proved to that the influence the increase of historical concept mastery was increased by n gain of 0.5 at the experimental class, 0.4 at the control class, with significance value of 0.00 and α = 0.05

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 5E inquiry learning activities on students’ achievement, attitude toward chemistry. A non-equivalent control group design was used to the quasi-experimental research in this study. A total of 34 (8 males and 26 females) undergraduates in Turkey voluntarily participated in the study. The 5E Inquiry Learning Activities were applied to the experimental group and lecture-based traditional activities were applied to the control group. The both two groups were taught by the same instructor and used same books. The Chemical Equilibrium Concept Test (CECT) and the Attitude toward the Subject of Chemistry Inventory (ASCI) were applied to both groups as pre-test and post-test. The results of the study revealed that 5E inquiry learning activities were more effective in improving the achievement in chemical equilibrium compared to lecture-based traditional activities. In addition, the results showed that there was no statistically significant mean difference between experimental and control groups with respect to attitude toward chemistry.

This study was aimed at determining the effect of the point-pin reward method in Biology cross-specialization learning activities towards students’ interest and acquisition in the 11th-grade social science class in State Senior High School 1 Sentolo. The research was a quasi-experimental study using a pre-test and post test non-equivalent control group design. The number of participants consisted of 41 students divided into 2 classes, the control class and the experimental class. Data for students’ interest in learning were collected using interest questionnaires analyzed using a Likert scale. Data for students’ acquisition were obtained by analyzing written tests. Research data were analyzed using independent-samples t test. The results of this study indicate that: The point-pin reward method has significant effects on the students’ interest and acquisition in the learning activities of biology cross-specialization lessons.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine student achievement in the manufacturing process subject before giving treatment, to determine student achievement in the manufacturing process course after treatment, to determine whether there was an effect of the inquiry method on student achievement in the manufacturing process course and to find out whether there is a difference in learning achievement after treatment on the use of the inquiry method and the demonstration method. The type of research conducted by the researcher is Quasi Experiment. The research design used is Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were third semester students (Industrial Engineering) at the Cikarang Industrial META Polytechnic. Data collection techniques were carried out through objective tests, observations of the welding process and assessment of welding results with performance. The results showed that the learning achievement of electric arc welding subjects before being given treatment in the control group and the experimental group had the same initial ability and the data results showed that there were still many students who had not finished. Learning achievement after being given treatment increased in both the control group and the experimental group. After learning with the inquiry method there is an influence on student learning achievement. Besides the effect, there are also differences in learning achievement after being given treatment, namely by comparing the results of the pretest and post-test, after the application of the demonstration method the test results have a significant percentage difference. Keywords: Inquiry Method, Learning Achievement, Electric Arc Welding  ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah proses manufaktur sebelum pemberian perlakuan, mengetahui prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah proses manufaktur setelah pemberian perlakuan, mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh metode inquiry terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata mata kulaih proses manufaktur dan mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan prestasi belajar setelah perlakuan pada penggunaan metode inquiry dan metode demonstrasi. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah Quasi Eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester III (Teknik Industri) di Politeknik META Industri Cikarang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes objektif, observasi terhadap proses pengelasan dan penilaian hasil las dengan unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar mata pelajaran las busur listrik sebelum diberikan perlakuan pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen memiliki kemampuan awal yang setara dan hasil data menunjukkan masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum tuntas. Prestasi belajar setelah diberikan perlakuan mengalami kenaikan baik pada kelompok kontrol maupun kelompok eksperimen. Setelah pembelajaran dengan metode inquiry terdapat pengaruh pada prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Selain pengaruh terdapat juga perbedaan prestasi belajar setelah diberikan perlakuan yaitu dengan membandingkan hasil pretest dan post-test, setelah penerapan metode demonstrasi hasil tes memiliki persentase perbedaan yang cukup berarti .Kata kunci: Metode Inquiry, Prestasi Belajar, Las Busur Listrik

Batik maked process especially �mbironi�, is done in sit position. If this position maintained for a long period, that could be cause muscle strain which may lead into musculoskeletal disorders. The research was aim to know the effect of Workplace Stretching Exercise (WSE) to reduced MSDs in hand-made batik workers. The research was quasy experimental by non-equivalent control group design. Subjects were 37 female handmade batik workers used purposive sampling. Data analysis used Friedman test and Wilcoxon test, then for two independent sample used Independent t Test and Mann Whitney test with significancy level at 5% or a = 0,05. Analysis result show that there is no difference in MSDs on experiment and control group after pre-test which had p-value = 0,371 (>0,05). The result of middle-test and post-test p value = 0,000 (<0,05) that there is significant mean difference of MSDs between experiment and control group. Based on the middle-test and post-test analysis result, it could be conclude that there is an effect of WSE to reduce MSDs of handmade batik workers.

This study was aimed at determining the differences in the dimensions of cognitive processes between groups of students who are taught with project-based trying learning activities and groups of students who are taught with conventional learning activities. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a post-test only control group design. The population of this study was the fifth-grade students of the 2016/2017 academic year in the Curriculum 2013 Elementary School in Buleleng Regency, which amounted to 326 students. The samples were taken by cluster random sampling which amounted to 60 students. The data collected in this study were the results of the dimensions of cognitive processes by using 20 multiple-choice tests and 5 item essays on the ecosystem theme. The hypothesis was tested using inferential t-test statistics. The results show that there are significant differences in the dimensions of cognitive processes between groups of students who were taught with project-based trying activities and groups of students who were taught using conventional learning activities. The optimizing project-based trying activities has a positive effect on the dimensions of students' cognitive processes.PENGOPTIMALAN AKTIVITAS MENCOBA DENGAN BERBASIS PROYEK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN DIMENSI PROSES KOGNITIF SISWAPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dimensi proses kognitif antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan aktivitas pembelajaran mencoba berbasis proyek dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan aktivitas pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian post test only control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 di SD rintisan Kurikulum 2013 Kabupaten Buleleng yang berjumlah 326 orang. Sampel diambil dengan cara cluster?random sampling yang berjumlah 60 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil dimensi proses kognitif dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir dan esai 5 butir soal pada tema ekosistem. Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan statistik inferensial t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada dimensi proses kognitif antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan aktivitas pembelajaran mencoba berbasis proyek dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan aktivitas pembelajaran konvensional Pengoptimalan aktivitas mencoba berbasis proyek berpengaruh positif terhadap dimensi proses kognitif siswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan apakah ada pengaruh teknik Mind Mapping terhadap keterampilan siswa dalam menulis teks deskriptif pada siswa kelas 10 SMK Management Training System tahun akademik 2018-2019. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan metode penelitian merupakan quasi experimental design  yaitu non equivalent control group design yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas control. Kelas experiment diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan teknik mind mapping. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pre-test dan post-test pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor siswa di kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai tertinggi dengan nilai 91 dan nilai terendah 9. Nilai tobserve lebih tinggi dari ttable (2.759 ˃ 2.074). Dengan demikian, Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik Mind Mapping berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis teks deksripsitf siswa. Teknik Mind Mapping juga membantu siswa untuk berfikir lebih creative dalam mengembangkan ide-idenya, mengembangkan konsep serta lebih rileks dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran khususnya menulis.

Introduction: Breastfeeding has been identifi ed as the optimal source of nutrition for infants. However, many mothers do not breastfeed their infants excusively. The possible modifi able factors to improve breastfeeding rates are breastfeeding self effi cacy and effective breastfeeding behavior. The aim of this study was to analyze the breastfeeding support package to improve breastfeeding self effi cacy and impact on effective breastfeeding behavior. Method: This study was a quasy experiment pre-post test non equivalent control group design. Samples were 20 respondents recruited using consecutive sampling in Navy Hospital Dr. Ramelan who met the inclusion criteria. Instruments that used in this study were breastfeeding self effi cacy short form and LATCH assessment tool. Results: The score of breastfeeding self effi cacy on experiment group was improve higher than control group. But, the hypothesis test showed that there were no difference score between experiment and control group after intervention (p = 0.104). The correlation between breastfeeding self effi cacy and effective breastfeeding behavior was not signifi cant (p = 0.976). Analisis and Discussion: The antecedent of breastfeeding self effi cacy were not only the information resources but also job and education level. Breastfeeding self effi cacy was not an antecedent of effective breastfeeding behavior. Keywords: breastfeeding self effi cacy, effective breastfeeding, intervention

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media video sparkol terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di SMP menggunakan desain penelitian kuasi eksperimental dengan rancangan desain non-equivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Rambipuji. Hasil rata-rata pre-test kemampuan berpikir kreatif kelas kontrol dan eksperimen menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang cukup jauh, dimana kemampuan berpikir kreatif awal kedua kelas memiliki rata-rata yang hampir sama, dengan kategori rendah. Namun setelah diberikan perlakuan hasil rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai yang lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol yakni dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil analisis post-test kemampuan berpikir kreatif menunjukkan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,000 atau Sig. (0,00 < 0,05) yang artinya terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas kontrol dengan siswa kelas eksperimen, karena nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media video sparkol berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP.
