Teaching practice is an activity designed to enable students in mastering teaching skills. This activity is very important to improve the ability of prospective teachers, because theoretical knowledge has not been able to equip the teaching practice. The practice of teaching at schools provides a real experience for students in the real class, because theoretical knowledge through the process of learning in the classroom can not equip the teaching practice. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Indonesia Open University (UT) with distance learning system has designed Teaching Practice through Praktek Kemampuan Mengajar (PKM) course with 3 credit score. PKM is implemented in the schools where they teach and are guided by two supervisors. The PKM exam is conducted at the designated centre schools at each UT Regional Office . This study is aimed to evaluate the activities of PKM students of Economic Education Studies Program FKIP UT in UT Regional Office. The study was conducted at 12 UT Regional Office samples involving respondents consisting of UT students and UT Regional Office staff. The results showed the level of independence of students doing PKM was quite high (72%). This level of independence needs to be supported by a 43% improvement in preparation and administrative services at UT Regional Office. In the implementation of teaching practice in schools, in average 53.14% Supervisor 1 and 63.86% Supervisor 2 always provide direction in accordance with UT standards. Distance learning system, as an important teaching means, demonstrates the gradual maturity and penetration of technology in the teaching practice of disciplines. This paper proposes an application of distance learning for an e-commerce curriculum. First, this paper forwards the implication of distance learning system and its superiority, and further the system based on the SNS social interaction mode to address the limitations of existing distance learning systems by the advantages of the SNS social interaction mode. Second, the distance learning system is applied for an e-commerce curriculum. In accordance with the requirements of an e-commerce curriculum, the distance learning system and user frameworks are designed. The experiment adopts multiple evaluation indexes, and then utilizes the linear regression evaluation methodology for result assessment. Result shows that students in the experimental group under the distance learning system teaching mode are superior to students in the control group in terms of various indexes and comprehensive evaluation.

Currently we see actively developing systems associated with distance learning, and such systems are based on new communication tools. They not only change the appearance of information space but also create special conditions for the formation of the modern distance learning system. The article describes requirements that must be established for an analyst teacher (a personality-technologist-analyst), whose training, in contrast to the training of a duty-holder teacher, comes to the fore, and who must be able to create technologies when adapting to new conditions of the constantly changing world, rather than to perform under pre-set technologies. The articles outline the substance of the creative method in teaching; it has been emphasized that teacher's activities are very close to those of an actor. Ways to resolve the issues of distance learning regarding acting as part of the teaching practice are outlined herein.

In recent years new media visual communications have become predominant in the built environment of today's children. This study sought to examine the pedagogical potential of visual communications and to find out how the traditional technology in children's training and education contradict the influence of new media technologies on the educational process. The opinions and attitudes of school teachers (N=150) towards the problem as well as documents and teaching materials were analyzed. The research demanded use of direct and indirect observations, questionnaires, self-analysis, and observation of the results of activity. A monitoring protocol, profiles, and materials for meaningful evaluation of products for teaching were developed. The obtained results showed that there is a narrowness of understanding of visual communications by teachers; uniformity in visual presentation of educational materials; lack of a system in multimedia application; and repetition in the creation and use of visual content. The results suggest that it is necessary to change not only the content and methods of training prospective teachers, but also their thinking.

A full-fledged transformation is impossible without the use of new didactic approaches and without the creation of a qualitatively new educational and methodological support. This is due to the peculiarities of the modern student. Modern students were born and grew up in an information-saturated world and they are dominated by clip thinking, which is focused on processing information in short portions. Based on this, the problem of developing such training programs that would be aimed at independent work, based on game methods of presenting information, would take into account the psychophysiological features of perception, processing and storage of information by a modern person becomes urgent. To solve this problem, the authors analyzed the results of cognitive psychology research, conducted a self-analysis of the experience of developing and implementing three-dimensional interactive training programs in the educational process. The paper reveals the problems and disadvantages of traditional ways of presenting information. Examples of the implementation of interactive training applications are shown. The method of organizing a distributed distance learning system is presented. The conducted research allowed us to outline ways to modernize educational and methodological support by using interactive applications, mobile learning, resource allocation, introduction of modern digital solutions and creation of a comfortable educational environment.
