The article is devoted to the development of foreign language writing skills of students of the direction of training “Jurisprudence” in the framework of professional education. The features of the process of teaching written business communication in a foreign language as an important component of the professional competence of a practicing lawyer are shown. The study suggests that with the help of authentic Internet resources, optimal conditions are created not only for acquaintance with written forms of communication adopted in the professional legal community: within the framework of the discipline “Foreign language in the field of professional communication” intercultural foreign language communicative competence of students is formed and improved.

This study examines the question of development of an important component of the foreign language communicative competence - the skill of writing as a structural element of the technical university students’ professional competence. The methods and ways of the stated aim achievement are analyzed from the perspective of the competence and personality-oriented approaches. Professional communication is presented as a multicomponent phenomenon, requiring detailed study. Foreign and domestic research in the field of foreign language teaching formed the theoretical basis for studying the methodical and didactic aspects of writing activities. The authors define students’ acquisition of writing skills in the process of education as the development of elementary communicative competence. Tasks for the writing skills development are described as a productive tool for organizing educational activities. The authors emphasize the special role of creative tasks and how they can contribute to achieving the set goals in teaching. Practical recommendations on the development of writing skills and this process monitoring are given.

The modern development of society determines the forms and content of the process of teaching foreign languages. The quantity and quality of information in the field of mastering a foreign language is constantly growing as a means of sociocultural, linguistic and cultural and professional development of an individual. A foreign language is currently considered as an integral part of intercultural communication in various fields of objective reality and the development of a culture of interethnic communication. In the process of teaching a foreign language, technologies are becoming increasingly important which makes it possible to achieve the required level of communicative competence in speaking and writing in a shorter time frame and to recreate a virtual spatial temporal communication environment with native speakers. In this regard, the form of distance learning can be more and more prospective, being psychologically more comfortable for students and teachers; many of its elements can be integrated into other forms of training. The article exposes certain information technologies, the use of which increases the effectiveness of teaching a foreign language in distance, part-time and full-time courses. On the example of specific interactive multimedia Internet resources in the field of learning the German language, the urgent importance of using computerized teaching methods for acquiring and enhancing pronunciation, lexical and grammatical skills and knowledge with the aim of forming linguistic and cultural and professional competence of students is emphasized. At the same time, the article highlights importance of non-verbal forms of communication for achieving the desired effect of verbal communication, while relying on relevant audiovisual Internet resources.

This article is devoted to the features and benefits of a professionally-oriented approach to teaching a foreign language in non-linguistic high schools on the example of engineering education. According to the latest standards of higher education (FSES 3++), students must have sufficient knowledge of a foreign language for business communication in oral and written forms. However, teachers of high schools face a number of difficulties in the formation of a foreign language communicative competence offuture engineers, namely: a constant decrease of a number offoreign language practical classes in a curriculum of a high school and a weak motivation of students. In our opinion, a professionally-oriented approach to teaching helps to solve these problems and make the process of learning a foreign language more intensive, focused and effective. That is, now, the development of strategies, methodological models and tools for teaching English, with a focus on professional communication, is an actual task for an English teacher at the University. This article presents some methods and techniques that stimulate students of engineering faculty to professionally oriented communication in English. Much attention is paid to both active teaching methods used during practical English classes, and individual work, which allows students to get more useful information and skills within the practical classes given, and also allows students to develop the need for individual knowledge acquisition and comprehension, thereby providing the increased interest of communication in a foreign language and increasing motivation to learn a foreign language.

The following paper discusses the actual task of modern technical specialist training: getting him/her ready to communicate professionally in a foreign language. Practice requests are naturally reflected in the development of curricula and programs of higher professional education. The author demonstrates the urgency of the task in connection with the constantly changing foreign language professional communication, especially computer-mediated part of it. The author identifies two main approaches to the organization of studies at the university: changing the structure, content, methods of the course Foreign Language and the development of new courses of the curriculum. Within the framework of the second approach, the process of designing an educational and methodical complex for a professional communication course on the basis of a process approach is considered in some detail. The paper emphasizes the importance of using professional skills of prospective specialists to increase the effectiveness of the educational process, in particular, the development of copyright audio and video materials. The workshop for audio engineers, developed by the author of the paper, is successfully used in the educational process of Samara State Institute of Culture.

This article is devoted to the problem of the development of writing competence in the process of foreign language teaching. The article refects the main directions of the language policy in the Republic Uzbekistan with reference to the fundamental normative documents in this area, describes the conditions for the successful language policy in the feld of foreign language education. The characteristic features of foreign language writing competence is presented. The concept of the term «approach» is analyzed by foreign scholars and the author focuses on the advantage of two modern approaches in teaching foreign language writing competence as Product approach and Process approach. A review of two modern approaches is presented by involving the points and claims of well-known foreign scholars. The article deals with the assessment criteria, the learning process and effective techniques that are used on the basis of product approach. It presents a typical model for process approach created by the English specialist C. Tribble. Carried out comparative analysis of two given approaches, leads to the conclusion that both product approach and process approach, despite of their advantages, are not perfect enough in teaching writing since both approaches were criticized by methodologists. As a result of the study, it is concluded that it is preferable to use a mixed approach, along with traditional ones to develop writing competence of students.

The necessity of the innovation of the language education in a technical highest school was conditioned by the present-day development of the international industrial relations and business contacts between specialists of various countries. The purpose of technical profile students’ language training nowadays is the mastering of a language competency in the sphere of professional communication. The article aims at the description of peculiarities of a methodological support in the formation of the language competency of the technical profile students. The article represents the scientific literature review on the problem of the language education efficiency raising in a highest school; grounds the necessity of creating the methodological support as a means of the successful formation of the foreign language competency; describes researching approaches. The results view the content specifications and didactical structure of a teaching guide, which provides the language competency of the 24.05.07. In this article, the issues of improving the education content in teaching foreign-language professional communication in a modern university are discussed. It is noted that the Russian system of higher professional education is a constant subject to an active modernization process. Therefore, at the present moment the most important objective of the Educational Policy is to ensure the quality of education, maintaining its fundamental nature and its correspondence to the needs of society and the labor market, to the interests of the individual and the State. With regard to the realities of modern Language Pedagogy, the improved education content in the system of higher professional technical education should correspond to a number of the following fundamental principles: rely on the scientific concept, be directed towards humanization and humanitarization of education; meet the requirements of normative instruments which regulate the learning process; ensure the development of students` personal potential and be authentic.

The article discusses the creation of a qualitatively new educational system in intercultural business communication, capable of providing real interaction between specialists in the global cultural space. Under the current conditions of expanding international cooperation, the humanities specialist must speak a foreign language at a fundamentally new level as an instrument of professional intercultural communicative competence. The aforesaid determines the existence of contradictions between the provisions developed in linguistics and linguistic didactics concerning the theory of intercultural communication and methods of teaching foreign students the Business Russian Language and the lack of their integration and extrapolation in the training of foreign students for interaction in the business sphere of communication. The question of interest is what happens to a linguistic personality when it enters a "foreign" environment undergoing the processes of cognitive consciousness transformation. Based on the studies of the cultural synergy model in the formation of intercultural communicative competence of foreign citizens in business communication, it is concluded that the possession of a foreign-language code that allows a successful intercultural professional interaction requires knowledge of a “foreign” culture and determines the specifics of the social and business behavior of the speakers of this culture. In the “native" culture, a linguistic personality assimilates language through reality, and in a "foreign” culture, the reality is assimilated through language. In this case, the interaction process of communication participants is considered as a complex synergetic system, in which the traditions accepted in the native culture are neutralized and the traditions accepted in the culture of business partners are updated.

This article considers the problem of connection between the foreign language communicative and professional competence of a teacher. The purpose of the article is to clarification of the level of the teacher's foreign language communicative competence is; determination of the main criteria and indicators that affect the level of the teacher's foreign language communicative competence. The research methodology includes the use of the following methods: mathematical and statistical methods of data, analysis. It has been established that professional competence is understood as the unity of his theoretical and practical readiness for professional activity, has a communicative orientation, characterizes a set of professionally important qualities and characteristics. It was found that foreign language communicative competence is a complex of knowledge, abilities and skills, as well as the experience of their use, which gives the teacher the opportunity to effectively and productively use a foreign language for professional activities. The level of foreign language communicative competence of teachers was clarified. It is proved that foreign language communicative competence is an important and integral part of the professional competence of a foreign language teacher.
