Abstract Aiming at the problems of low efficiency and poor sanitation of manual cover opening and meat digging in the production of common orange tea, a multi station full-automatic meat digging machine for common orange tea is designed to realize the automatic cover opening and pulp separation device of green orange, so as to meet the production of common orange tea in Xinhui District of Jiangmen. The mechanism of peel stress and pulp separation damage of green citrus in the process of mechanical meat digging was studied. The state of peel contact deformation area of green Citrus under the extrusion of meat digging knife was analyzed by simulation, and the structural and operating parameters of de jacking and opening mechanism and meat digging mechanism were optimized. When the extrusion force was less than 35.6n, the peel damage rate could be minimized. Compared with manual operation, it reduces labor cost and production cost, saves processing time, and realizes automatic and rapid production.

Jute is the golden fiber of Bangladesh, but its production is declining due to the involvement of higher production and processing costs, where a major portion of the cost is needed for fiber extraction. Labor unavailability and increasing labor cost have led to higher jute fiber production cost. To address these issues, this study looks at the development of a power-operated and cost-effective fiber extraction machine aiming at reducing the production cost. The study was conducted at the Rangpur regional office premises of Practical Action in Bangladesh, and the developed machine was branded as “Aashkol”, which had the following major parts: a feeding tray, a primary extraction roller, a secondary extraction roller, grabbing rollers, fiber collection stand, base frame, protection cover, and a spring-loaded tray under the primary extraction roller. The Aashkol can extract green ribbon from the jute stem, but jute sticks were broken down into smaller pieces (3–6 cm). The performance evaluation of the machine was conducted using different types of jute (Deshi, Kenaf, and Tossa) and compared with another jute extraction machine (KP model, introduced by Karupannya Rangpur Ltd.). The Aashkol-based extraction and improved retting systems were also evaluated and compared with traditional jute extraction systems. The jute stem input capacity (4.99 t h−1) of the Aashkol was 47.6% higher than the KP model (3.38 t h−1). Compared with the traditional system, across jute types, the Aashkol produced a 9% higher fiber yield and saved 46% retting time. Overall, the Aashkol reduced 90% of the labor requirement and saved 11.6 USD t−1 in jute fiber extraction and retting than the traditional method.

Extrusion tapping is a novel and important processing method of internal thread, carrying out research on the thread forming process can contribute to a better application of this process in more industrial situation. The principle of extrusion tapping of internal thread is introduced in this paper firstly, and then the simplified finite element model of extrusion tapping and the thread forming simulation is conducted. Next, the thread forming process and metal plastic flow law during extrusion tapping of internal thread are analyzed based on the simulation. Finally, the revised formulas for calculating extrusion deformation area and volume are presented and comparison are made with the referenced formulas, the results show that the revised formulas can express the practical extrusion deformation area and volume more correctly. Furthermore, the similar law between the revised extrusion deformation volume and extrusion force obtained from simulation are proved effectively.

The objective of this study was to find out components of production cost and analyzing the cost of production materials which used full costing method and variable costing method. This research was conducted at October 2019 on PT. Katingan Timber Celebes Wamlana Village, Fenaleisela Subdistrict, Buru Regency. The company is a buried sawmill industry at Buru Island when has a primary industrial license for timber. Research data were collected by observation, documentation and interview methods, and then analyzed by full costing and variable costing methods. The result showed that the components of production cost consist of raw materials cost, direct labor cost used fixed factory overhead cost and variable factory overhead cost. The cost of production used costing method have value of  Rp.5.120.341.644,- more higher compered to variable costing is Rp.4.542.320.899,- the difference value of the cost of production due to full costing methods which imposes the fixed overhead cost and the variable overhead cost, that the cost of production is higher than with variable costing methods which imposes by factory overhead cost.

Background Along with the vigorous development of Internet technology, increasing the functions of the various types of equipment, network communication easy and diversity, at the same time, the amount of data is very huge, under the network bandwidth limitations, through long lead to a data need to be cut into more, one by one, transfer times, information delay problems. Results Aiming at the problems of poor data integrity, low efficiency and poor serialization efficiency of traditional data storage information, this article introduces Protobuf technology to study the serialization of data storage information. The serpentine gap method is used to complete the allocation interval of the sequence nodes, so that the working state and the resting state always maintain a dynamic balance. According to the first-level rules, the storage data of the completed target node is obtained, and the grammatical structure and the semantics of the target data are analyzed, Meanwhile corresponding correspondences are established, and the data storage information is serialized. In order to verify the effectiveness of Protobuf’s data storage information serialization method, a comparative experiment is designed. By using three methods of HDVM, Redis and Protobuf to serialize JSON data, the comparative analysis shows that HDVM has the longest processing time and Protobuf has the shortest processing time, and the data integrity is not affected. The simulation data shows that the Protobuf serialization method has short conversion time, high space utilization, and the Obvious advantages in correctness and integrity. It is vary suitable for serialization of JSON data in the case of limited bandwidth.

This study aims to design and develop the recycled plastic beads sorting machine for 2 types of plastic beads, which are PP (Polypropylene) and ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene). Due to the process of preparing plastic materials for producing fan tube and base parts of electric fan, plastic beads scraps has been generated. Presently, the company has separated these scraps with manual method. The workers have stirred them with water for separating scrap types by difference of density. They have operated this process in the overtime period. In addition consuming processing time, this process makes fatigue effect in operators and also consume amount of water for each cycle of separating. Therefore, sorting machine for replacement workers has been developed. It can work for more efficiency than the previous method by reducing processing time by 41.8%. The proposed machine consists of 2 tanks for separating two types of plastic beads at capacity 50 Kg/hr. At the end of each cycle, the water consumed in the previous cycle can be reused. As this method, the proposed machine can reduce consuming water approximately 88.43%. This machine can reduce the number of operators from 2 to 1 person. Finally, payback period for recovering investment of machine comparing with saving labor cost is 1.48 months.

Analysis and comparison is presented as to processing performance levels with cutting speeds providing various optimization criteria: minimal cutting tool wear, minimal production cost and maximal cutting performance. It has been established that during machining at the cutting speed corresponding to the minimal cutting tool wear performance is close to the level of productivity when machining at the cutting speed corresponding to the minimal production cost. Results of calculations allow estimating both the performance value and the machinability level of different materials in terms of strength, not only in quality, but also in quantity. This assessment is made subject to the physical and mechanical properties of the work piece and the tool materials, the cutting mode (cutting speed and depth, feed), the tool geometry (cutter tip radius in the plan, cutting edge corner radius, face and clearance angles, major and minor cutting edge angles), as well as the economic performance of cutting (cutting time, cost of machine operation and labor cost, cutting tool operating cost).

The potato-soil separation device comprising five function areas (i.e., shearing, bending, throwing, cleaning, and conveying) was developed to address the mentioned problems (e.g., soil with high moisture content, large viscosity, and poor separation efficacy) in the harvesting process for winter idle paddy fields of Southern China. Given the kinetic analyses for the potato-soil mixture of five function areas, the crucial factors of the effect of potato-soil separation were determined. Subsequently, the orthogonal test of 4 factors and 3 levels was performed, and the percentage of small soil λ, the percentage of soil adhering to potato tuber γ, and damage rate of potato tuber K were adopted as assessment indexes. Regression analyses and programming for the orthogonal test result were conducted to optimize the device run parameters, and the optimal run parameters included the rotational speed of the soil-crushing mechanism of 84.18 r/min, linear velocity of second-stage lifting chain of 0.75 m/s, and inclination angle of lifting chain of 15.87°. The field experiments were performed with the modified potato harvester. As indicated from the result, the visible potato rate was 94.31% and damage rate of potato was 0.89%, and the requirement of the national standard was satisfied. This study presented technical feasibility data and equipment for potato-soil separation under sticky soils condition.

The company through Kaizen costing to eliminate inefficient activity activities that occur in the company's production process Here, it can be seen clearly the role of Kaizen implementation to Efficiency of Production Cost (represented by Production Yield, Labor Cost, Material Cost and Transport Cost). The analytical method used is descriptive analysis to reveal facts of the object researched and SEM Analisys. The results showed that (1) the characteristics of Muda, Mura, and Muri and Efficiency of Production Cost is good; and (2) Implementation of Muda, Mura, and Muri together have a positive and significant effect on Efficiency of Production Cost PT. Dasa Anugerah Sejati - Asian Agri Jambi by 83%. The remaining 17% is influenced by other factors not examined. Implementation of Muda, Mura, and Muri have a positive effect on Production Cost Efficiency, meaning that high Efficiency of Production Cost is influenced by high implementation of Muda, Mura, and Muri. Aiming at the problems of high specificity and low efficiency of vegetable transplanting machine, a substrate block seedling transplanter was designed. Through theoretical calculation and force analysis, the structural parameters of two key components of automatic seedling separation device and planting device are determined. Taking cabbage seedlings with 40 × 40 × 40mm substrate block size as the experimental object, the effects of forward speed, planting frequency, front conveyor belt speed on lodging rate, missing rate and qualified rate were studied by single factor test and three factor three-level orthogonal test. Based on the analysis of the significance and interaction of the experimental data, the best combination of the forward speed of 1.1km/h, the planting frequency of 55 plants / min and the front conveyor belt speed of 0.5km/h was obtained. The verification test of the best combination showed that the average qualified rate of planting was 93.31%, which met the relevant industry standards.

Abstract. Facilities such as road, parking lots play an important role in our lives nowadays. Damage to such a vehicle facility can cause human injury, as well as inconvenience and cost. To prevent this, facility monitoring is performed periodically, but the current monitoring method is low efficiency by blocking the facility or performing it late at night. In order to increase the efficiency of monitoring, research using images, especially drone images, was conducted. However, when using a drone image, there is a trade-off relationship between accuracy and processing time. In this study, we propose a real-time drone mapping based on reference images for efficient vehicle facility monitoring. The real-time drone mapping based on the reference image is composed of reference images build, aerial triangulation (AT) based on reference images (refAT), and orthophoto generation. The refAT refers to a method of performing AT by using a reference images as reference data. We compared the processing time and processing accuracy of direct georeferencing and refAT. We built 154 drone reference images in the target area. The refAT showed a processing time of about 8.95 seconds and an accuracy of 3.4 cm, and the direct georeferencing method showed a processing time of about 1.49 seconds and an accuracy of 22.5 m. If the method of this study is used for facility monitoring, it is expected that the efficiency of monitoring will be improved with speed and accuracy.
