Purpose This study/ paper aims to empirically examine the user attitude on perceived security of enterprise systems (ES) mobility. Organizations are adopting mobile technologies for various business applications including ES to increase the flexibility and to gain sustainable competitive advantage. At the same time, end-users are exposed to security issues when using mobile technologies. The ES have seen breaches and malicious intrusions thereby more sophisticated recreational and commercial cybercrimes have been witnessed. ES have seen data breaches and malicious intrusions leading to more sophisticated cybercrimes. Considering the significance of security in ES mobility, the research questions in this study are: What are the security issues of ES mobility? What are the influences of users’ attitude towards those security issues? What is the impact of users’ attitude towards security issues on perceived security of ES mobility? Design/methodology/approach These questions are addressed by empirically testing a security model of mobile ES by collecting data from users of ES mobile systems. Hypotheses were evolved and tested by data collected through a survey questionnaire. The questionnaire survey was administered to 331 users from Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). The data was statistically analysed by tools such as correlation, factor analysis, regression and the study built a structural equation model (SEM) to examine the interactions between the variables. Findings The study results have identified the following security issues: users’ attitude towards mobile device security issues; users’ attitude towards wireless network security issues; users’ attitude towards cloud computing security issues; users’ attitude towards application-level security issues; users’ attitude towards data (access) level security issues; and users’ attitude towards enterprise-level security issues. Research limitations/implications The study results are based on a sample of users from Chinese SMEs. The findings may lack generalizability. Therefore, researchers are encouraged to examine the model in a different context. The issues requiring further investigation are the role of gender and type of device on perceived security of ES mobile systems. Practical implications The results show that the key security issues are related to a mobile device, wireless network, cloud computing, applications, data and enterprise. By understanding these issues and the best practices, organizations can maintain a high level of security of their mobile ES. Social implications Apart from understanding the best practices and the key issues, the authors suggest management and end-users to work collaboratively to achieve a high level of security of the mobile ES. Originality/value This is an empirical study conducted from the users’ perspective for validating the set of research hypotheses related to key security issues on the perceived security of mobile ES.

This study aims to develop a deeper understanding of the expectations regarding workplace conditions that employees desire and to uncover the constructs that underlie these prospects in order to reveal the primary benefits that members of staffseek. An empirical study using the laddering techniquegives a valuable first insight into the desired expectations. The study results indicate that employees want an ergonomic workplace, good indoor air quality and lighting, enough space and modern hardware. Underlying employee’s values are oriented less towards the interests of the enterprise than towards the personal interests of the employees. The paper concludes with suggestions to managers to introduce and improve the environmental performance and reviews the limitations of the research. Keywords: ansprüche arbeitnehmer büro

The author studied mental functions disorders in children with a history of paroxysmal states of various etiologies and compared mental development disorder patterns in patients with epileptic and non-epileptic paroxysms. Study sample were 107 children, aged 6 to 10 years. The study used experimental psychological and neuropsychological techniques. According to the empirical study results, non-epileptic paroxysms unlike epileptic much less combined with a number of mental functions disorders and intelligence in general. However, non-epileptic paroxysmal states as well as epileptic seizure associated with increasing activity exhaustion and abnormal function of the motor analyzer (dynamic and kinesthetic dyspraxia). Visual memory disorders and modal-nonspecific memory disorders have more pronounced importance in the mental ontogenesis structure in children with convulsive paroxysms compared to children with cerebral pathology without paroxysms history.

Organisation need be more effective in retaining the tacit knowledge (know-how and know-what) and made it accessible for another staff to be more productive and enable management to make better decisions. Relying on explicit knowledge and old-style training courses is simply no longer effective to transfer or retain knowledge; therefore, understanding the role of tacit knowledge retentions as part of knowledge management is becoming increasingly more important to fulfil the organisation strategic goals. To attain the aim, theoretical and empirical study using (275) samples from different international oil and gas companies have quantitatively assessed three main factors; the strategic impact of tacit knowledge loss, the impact of knowledge and organisational behaviour at the individual level on knowledge retention within the organization. Based on the study results, both knowledge and organisational behaviour shows direct impact in knowledge retention enhancement. What knowledge and whose knowledge should be emphasised to reduce the impact of crew change. Knowledge management implementation to be the most important factor as Learning and sharing knowledge is affected by the cognitive processes and the way the organisation practice and implement the knowledge share such as mini-workshops, short assignment and community of practice (CoP). The last factor is positive individual attitude, which reflected in more effectiveness knowledge share and transfer. These factors improve tacit knowledge retention and fulfil the strategic goals such as competitiveness advantage and improve the performance, productivity and employee’s effectiveness. The article is devoted to the problem of studying the personal identity of Sami adolescents living in the Arctic territories of Russia. The study aims to study the characteristics of the personal identity of Sami boys and Sami girls in adolescence. The article presents the results of an empirical study carried out according to the methodology developed based on the test “Who am I?” developed by Kuhn and McPartland. The respondents were 39 Sami adolescents aged 12-13 years and 40 Sami adolescents aged 14-15 years. All respondents were from the indigenous Sami people. When studying personal identity, we analyzed the characteristics corresponding to each identity component: gender, social, ethnic, family, professional, individual, physical, active and undifferentiated. The study results made it possible to reveal the characteristics of the personal identity of Sami adolescents compared to the personal identity of their Russian peers. The data obtained expand modern psychological ideas about the patterns of personality development in adolescence, how the human psyche functions in a changing world, and clarify the meaningful characteristics of the psychological portrait of a modern adolescent.

In this paper we present a second part of the study on information security of children and adolescents according to parents and teachers. This part of the study focuses at empirical research results aimed in studying the so-called "naive theories" about information security. 136 people (aged 21 to 62 years) attended the study. We based on the following hypotheses : 1) the group of parents and teachers understand similarly the issue of information threat for children and adolescents, yet they have different understandings of the dangerous effects of information on children and adolescents: parents underestimate the seriousness of the effects compared with teachers; 2) according to parents and teachers, the formers are primarily responsible for information security of children; while teachers expect parents to monitor, prohibit, restrict the access to information for children and adolescents. Parents, in turn, expect teachers to train children and teenagers to observe the safety procedures, as well as use Internet safely. Our assumptions are confirmed partly, and study results are discussed in terms of the theory of social representations.

The article is important because the problem of emotional burnout is particularly actual one for health professionals in Ukraine and around the world at the moment. The medical staffs of medical departments are exposed to excessive stress on a daily basis in the course of their professional activities due to constant and direct contact with patients who need urgent care or are in a critical psychological state. These circumstances in most cases cause negative emotions, excessive mental stress and physical fatigue. The article purpose was to study of the syndrome of “emotional burnout” and the peculiarities of its manifestation in health professionals depending on gender. The conducted empirical study was devoted to the psychological manifestations of medical workers’ emotional burnout among (depending on genders); it was organised in 2020. The special socio-psychological study included 60 medical workers (30 women-nurses and 30 male doctors) with 5 or more years of experience working in medical institutions in Kyiv. The following psychological techniques were used in the empirical study: V.V. Boyko’s method determining the level of "emotional burnout"; J. Greenberg’s method studying burnout; Maslach Burnout Inventory for “person – person” professions; S.A. Budassi’s method for self-assessment; Cattell 16PF Questionnaire. The study results allowed us to draw the following conclusions. Analyzing the link between gender and emotional burnout, we should say that women in a stressful situation are more prone to psychosomatic and psychovegetative disorders, and men are prone to personal alienation (depersonalization). In addition, women’s syndrome is manifested not only through “resistance” symptoms - inadequate selective emotional response and reduction of professional responsibilities, but also through experienced traumatic circumstances - a symptom of the "stress" phase, while men’s emotional burnout unfolds only via the “resistance” symptoms. Prospects for further research: to consider the problem of burnout factors appeared at medical workers’ professional path in a new perspective. Based on the obtained results, we can say that many of the studied health professionals needed specialized psychological care to overcome the emotional burnout syndrome.

Forecasting energy consumption is not easy because of the nonlinear nature of the time series for energy consumptions, which cannot be accurately predicted by traditional forecasting methods. Therefore, a novel hybrid forecasting framework based on the ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD) approach and a combination of individual forecasting models is proposed. The hybrid models include the autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA), the support vector regression (SVR), and the genetic algorithm (GA). The integrated framework, the so-called EEMD-ARIMA-GA-SVR, will be used to predict the primary energy consumption of an economy. An empirical study case based on the Taiwanese consumption of energy will be used to verify the feasibility of the proposed forecast framework. According to the empirical study results, the proposed hybrid framework is feasible. Compared with prediction results derived from other forecasting mechanisms, the proposed framework demonstrates better precisions, but such a hybrid system can also be seen as a basis for energy management and policy definition.
