The article is devoted to the psychological and pedagogical substantiation of the expediency of learning foreign languages while studying in the institution of higher education. The authors analyse the current educational process in Ukrainian and identify the most important factors influencing the formation of qualified professionals and establish the role of foreign language in each of these factors. It was found that studying can be extremely intensified due to learning a foreign language. It is established that learning foreign languages increases a person’s ability to develop intellectually. The given article deals with some issues of foreign student’s educational process organization in teaching professionally-oriented English to university students of non-foreign language faculties taking into consideration their peculiarities as well as certain factors influencing upon the educational process efficiency. The article points out the difficulties that foreign students might experience when studying at the Russian Institution of higher education. As a means of solving the problem it is suggested to employ the most relevant methods of teaching in the educational process and to operate at three working languages: English, Russian and Arabic.

Teambuilding is one of the most promising and effective methods of personnel management, the most sought after in the business world. Up to date, the characteristics of an effective team and factors influencing the efficiency of team activities in separate professional performances are studied in most details. This article provides an overview of the researches on students’ attitudes to methods of team-building applied in the area of education. We provide the comparative analysis of the factors that contribute to or hinder the organization of team activities and the ones, arousing positive attitudes of the students. We also indicate the perspectives of expanding and improving the application of team building in the educational process

The present study sought to explore and explain the factors influencing students’ acceptance of the Learning Management Systems (LMS) as well as to explain the effectiveness of using LMS in teaching and learning in the School of Business. The research model employed the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the theoretical framework and extends it by adding System Design, System Accessibility, Technical Support and Subjective Norm as external variables. The model was tested using responses from 98 students (n=98) taking Business Information Systems module through the data gathered by means of survey questionnaire. The analysis of the collected data supported all of the generated hypotheses and was found consistent with the TAM original findings on behavioral intention. The study also revealed that the Subjective Norm and System Design have significant influence on the students’ LMS acceptance. Findings indicate that content delivery over the web portal helped to engage students and established viable interaction which allowed them to better understand and gain knowledge on each concept. Besides this, there are several key factors to consider when conducting educational process or activity over the technology such as originality of students’ ideas, specificity of content, comments and feedback as well as class size. Theoretical and applied implications of the obtained results are discussed at the end of this report within the context of education.

In the psycho-diagnostics of the individual, it is important for specialists to be able to select research methods, provide their psychometric criteria, know the stages of compiling and adapting questionnaires, apply them and interpret empirical indicators. Such skills are provided at the stage of professional preparation of students majoring in psychology. The article analyzes the results of the empirical study of the professional competencies of students majoring in psychology to prepare them for the application of methods of psycho-diagnostics in research, to ensure their compliance with the criteria of psychometry. Psycho-diagnostic methods of students majoring in psychology; in particular, a multi-stage study has been established in the empirical study of the skills of applying personality questionnaires in psychological research. Empirical indicators cover the factors influencing the formation of students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills in working with personal questionnaires, the ability to use questionnaires. Students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills in working with personal questionnaires were analyzed over the academic years. Criteria such as the educational process, independent study of educational and scientific literature, professional motivation, the importance of having the ability to work with questionnaires, meeting the requirements of a science teacher are highlighted as factors influencing the formation of students' skills in using personal handouts. Significance levels of empirical indicators obtained from the study were provided by mathematical-statistical methods.

Creative and pedagogical activity of Igor Ostapenko is considered in the article. I. Ostapenko is a designer and one of the leading teachers of Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. The proposed research is based on the use of methods of formal, functional, figurative, stylistic and comparative analysis. The range of researched materials includes realized projects, models, sketches, exhibitions, workbooks, scientific publications, design periodicals, interviews and memoirs. New names and artworks were introduced into scientific circulation. Materials of professional periodicals in the context of the chosen topic were generalized. Peculiarities of Igor Ostapenko’s creative and pedagogical positions are determined on the basis of the analysis of these materials. Main factors influencing the formation of his propaedeutic courses Theory of Composition and Fundamentals of Shaping are highlighted. Parallels with the concepts of educational process of leading design institutions are established. The continuity of creative principles of Kharkiv Art School founders and Igor Ostapenko’s activity is revealed. Such main features of the workshop as laconism of expressive means, artistic figurativeness, attention to the texture and natural qualities of materials can be traced in creative works of the teacher and his students. Conformity of creative and pedagogical achievements of Igor Ostapenko and his students with the “Art School” concept is substantiated. It includes system unity of art and project principles, methods and techniques of their realization, presence of significant achievements and their recognition by domestic and world professional community. It is emphasized that the work of the workshop is one of the representative phenomena in design education of Ukraine during its independence.

The article presents the results of an experimental study of the features of the manifestation of initiative in preschool children in the educational process. A total of 480 pre-school children aged three to seven years were covered by observation using specially designed formalized maps. As the main forms of manifestation of children's initiative in the process of interaction with adults, it is proposed to consider the issues and various proposals of children on the formulation and achievement of tasks in the framework of a particular activity. The article presents the results of an experimental study of the features of initiative in preschool children in the educational process. The position of an adult is considered as one of the factors influencing the manifestation of initiative by children in the educational process. The analysis uses the positions of educators, dedicated T.V. Lavrentieva. On the basis of expert evaluation of the results of unincorporated observation of teachers, 14 teachers with the most pronounced features of a particular position were selected. The results obtained in the study suggest the feasibility of using in the educational process with preschoolers of different situations, as situations that support children's initiative, and situations that "provoke" them to take the initiative. In General, the results showed that the initiative of children, becoming by the end of preschool age one of the manifestations of their increasing independence, still depends on the specific situations of interaction with adults.

This article examines the controversial problems of relations between parents and pedagogues, as well as specific nature of conflicts emerging between them in the educational organization. The author reveals the concept of “conflict” along with the key factors influencing the occurrence of conflicts between parents and pedagogues. Examination of causes and nature of such type of conflicts is carried out for finding optimal methods for settling the conflicts between parents and pedagogues. Humanization of pedagogical approach in education led to the establishment of ambiguous trend in the development of relations between parents and pedagogues. The relevance is defined by the fact that the education system in modern Russia has experienced and continues to experience serious transformations. The acquired results demonstrate correlation between the high propensity towards conflict  of the pedagogue and the nature of conflict with the parents of students. Personality of the pedagogue plays an important role within the system of pedagogue–parent relations. For determining the degree of influence of the revealed factors upon the nature of conflicts between parents and pedagogues, the author carried out a research that included several methodologies. Recommendations are made on improvement of communication competences of pedagogues, namely the ability to resolve conflict situations related to educational process, and particularly, with the parents of students.

Given scientific research is devoted to the consideration of factors influencing educational (learning) motivation. One such factor is the assessment of academic achievements. The difficulties of obtaining an objective assessment in educational practice are noted and possible ways to overcome them are shown, including through external (independent) standardized testing. Authentic assessment requires special training and the creation of an appropriate base, this problem can be solved in the form of organizational and methodological support of teachers by external professional centers providing assessment in the form of an educational audit. The data of external testing and subsequent questionnaires are presented, allowing to judge about changes in the educational motivation of school students in the assessment process. The need to identify the progress of individual achievements in the educational process requires the development and introduction of new assessment forms that create the confidence of students in assessments and affect educationalmotivation.
