In this paper, we present a dual version of T. Brzeziński’s results about Rota–Baxter systems which appeared in [Rota–Baxter systems, dendriform algebras and covariant bialgebras, J. Algebra 460 (2016) 1–25]. Then as a generalization to bialgebras, we introduce the notion of Rota–Baxter bisystem and construct various examples of Rota–Baxter bialgebras and bisystems in dimensions 2, 3 and 4. On the other hand, we introduce a new type of bialgebras (named mixed bialgebras) which consist of an associative algebra and a coassociative coalgebra satisfying the compatible condition determined by two coderivations. We investigate coquasitriangular mixed bialgebras and the particular case of coquasitriangular infinitesimal bialgebras, where we give the double construction. Also, we show in some cases that Rota–Baxter cosystems can be obtained from a coquasitriangular mixed bialgebras.

This chapter analyses the effects of social media on political communication and the role they play in government-citizen relations by focusing on the Twitter ban phenomenon in Turkey in March 2014. The chapter asks the reasons of government intervention in social media, particularly Twitter. It argues that Twitter makes, on the one hand, a significant contribution to the evolution of political participation as it diversifies the process and methods of political communication. On the other hand, it introduces a new type of security dilemma which encourages governments to consider taking measures against social media to protect their authority.

The island of Malta has served as a strategic colony since the dawn of history. Since Phoenician and Roman times, the island has been an important base in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Its last colonisers, the British, spent about 180 years using the islands for their imperial needs. The official closing of the British base on 31 March 1979 heralded a new economic and social reality supposedly unhampered by the exigencies of foreigners. Two major post-memory reactions kicked in – nostalgia and aversion to ex-colonial life. The postcolonial Maltese generations exhibit a range of reactions oscillating between love and hate for the British. On the other hand, British ex-service personnel and their families have continued to feel an affinity with the island base which they had come to acknowledge as a second home. This allows for a new type of relationship between the Maltese people and their British visitors where issues of colonial post-memory are negotiated. These are seen at their best in the local tourism industry. Malta woos British tourists and goes to great effort to attract them. It uses to its advantage the colonial affinity to create an attractive destination for the British which benefits the locals and the Maltese economy. In Malta post-memory has evolved in line with necessity and expediency, where animosity, though manifestly tangible, has gradually morphed into a rather benign residue in the collective reaction to the colonial past.

In this paper, the spatial dimensions of a transboundary, coopetitive (coopetition: cooperation of rivals) network, established by restaurant owners, are scrutinized empirically by applying advanced toolkits of spatial network analysis (SpNA). The paper emphasizes that the coopetitive network has geographical extensions, and on the other hand, interactions between vertices generate network space. The new type of economic network could thus be analyzed by SpNA to understand the spatial characteristics of a rivals’ network at transboundary level. The paper may be referred to as cutting-edge research, because on one hand, it dissects a new type of economic network (coopetitive networks) and on the other hand, a new method is utilized (SpNA) to study the geographical parameters of inter-firm relationships. This approach emerges as a novel method. As a result, the paper provides significant, fruitful and new findings in both network science and urban economics as well. By employing metrics of SpNA, the main spatial traits of the coopetitive network can be mapped, such as the circumference, spatial structure, diameter, spatial density, spatial small world phenomenon, and global connectivity of the network. The results show that the coopetitive network possesses hub-and spoke spatial framework, in which the hub is localized far from the cluster of players. Moreover, the coopetitive interaction does not require face-to-face nexus, because the focal firm communicates with them via IT devices. The coopetitive activities contribute significantly to the urban economic growth. The main agent (the hub) ought to be supported by the regional development policy at the local and inter-urban geographical scale as well.

The challenge for education that can not be denied is globalization and technological progress on the one hand. On the other hand education is also faced with the increasing variety of life pressures. Paul G. Stoltz invented a new type of intelligence theory from the psychological paradigm, namely Adversity Quotient (ability to face difficulties), that is, a person's ability to observe difficulties and cultivate those difficulties with his or her intelligence so that it becomes a challenge to be solved. The Qur'an is a holy book filled with educational values. Among the content of the Qur'an are stories. One of the stories in the Qur'an is the story of Prophet Moses that is found in many surahs in the Qur'an. In the story of Prophet Moses there are many extraordinary values and lessons especially in how to deal with adversity. From the results of research, revealed the following important matters. The Adversity Quotient's educational value scontained in the story of Prophet Musa in the Qur'an are the values of patience, the value of optimism and unyielding, the value of the great soul and the value of jihad.

Currently more and more large, vertically integrated firms are being transformed into flatter organisations that encompass decentralised decision structures. The author argues that an understanding of this new type of firm, called market-like firm, is missing from the theory of the firm (transaction cost theory), for two reasons. On the one hand, the Williamsonian framework of governance structures does not explore the distinguishing mark of the firm, and, on the other hand, it cannot explain the variety of firms. To overcome these shortcomings, the author proposes the extension of the Williamsonian framework with the concept of “firm-ness” that is based on the distinction between ideal-type and real-type.

The new type of coronavirus, called COVID19, which began to spread all over the world, caused a pandemic. According to the 24th March data, there is no cure for this viral acute respiratory disease, which caused 17,147 deaths. Healthcare professionals use medications used in previous coronavirus-induced diseases to relieve symptoms in treatment. Researchers, on the other hand, evaluate the comparative effects of these drugs and try to find a new drug or vaccine. We are publishing a study that biotechnological combinations of used and non-toxic effective drugs can be an effective approach to the disease.

The growing lack of housing supply includes the risk that a new type of substandard housing emerges in Germany. The decrease of flats’ size and quality as well as architectural standard is a threatening way to build „affordable“ future homes for those, who fall through the cracks of the current housing market. Due to the limited welfare states engagement on the one hand and private capitalist activity on the other hand, we are currently witnessing a trend to develop second class houses, mostly for students and refugee accomodations. If the housing supply crisis will not be solved, this new substandard will extend to larger parts of the housing market.

There are two classes of people who have an interest in the question which we have proposed for discussion. It may be asked by those who believe that in historic Protestantism we have the true and final form of religion, and who therefore view with alarm any radical departure from the position of the earlier Reformers. In this case the question whether our Protestantism is still Protestant will mean the inquiry whether our modern liberal Christianity has so far departed from the fundamental principles of the Reformation that its title to the name of evangelical Christianity may rightly be called in question. On the other hand, the inquiry may be made by those who believe that historic Protestantism represents a stage of religious development which the world is destined to outgrow. In the latter case the meaning of the question will be whether the process of theological reconstruction has gone so far that the new type of religious thought and life which is expected to supersede the old can at last be clearly differentiated from its predecessor.

Microscopy is unique among its analytical counterparts: it requires a hand-eye-brain coordination not needed in any other type of analytical instrumentation. On one hand, manufacturers of microscopes and auxiliary technologies are working to make systems seamless, transparent, and easier to use. On the other hand, microscopists, even those who will use the microscope as routine tools, need to be knowledgeable in their core disciplines as well as fluent in microscopy and sample preparation. It is not enough that a the person running a microscope be trained to "push this button; turn this knob". Especially as we move into the next millennium, it will become increasingly important to understand the light/matter, electron/matter, or probe/matter interactions which occur when examining a specimen. Microscopists of all descriptions will need to know how to optimize both the sample and the technology, how to interpret the information presented by the image, and how to separate artifact from true information. To compound the problem, the convergence of computer, diverse software packages, microscope, camera, and analytical techniques is producing a new type of multiple level information which, in turn, requires expertise in multiple disciplines.

In this paper we studied a new type of sets that called Λ-Ib-sets, for planting this sets it was necessary to know about b-opens sets were introduced by [4], b-I-opens sets were introduced by [2] and the notion of ideal in topological space was defined by [5], thus we used those concepts and created the sets which were studied, furthermore we studied relationship between Λ-I sets and Λ-Is sets, in fact some properties were planted, on the other hand, the definition of continuity from Λ-Ib-sets was added and some examples are shown.
