AbstractMost of those engaged in town and country planning are aware of the importance of geology regarding their subject. Indeed there are many geologists now engaged in the planning service. There are two areas, in particular, where geological skills will be required on an increasing scale in the future. These are in mineral planning and landfill and restoration on the one hand, and countryside planning on the other.Land use planning is a political process and has as its basis the positive role of development plans and the negative constraints of development control. Development control involves the approval and refusal of planning applications by planning authorities and the Secretary of State for the Environment. Many disciplines contribute technical advice regarding planning but technical advice is just one of the factors influencing any decision since planning authorities are charged with considering all material considerations.

This study aims to examine the role of religiosity on emotional regulation in the hijrah community. The subject in this research are the ikhwan and akhwat in hijrah community “X” with the total of 100 respondents. The measuring instrument used in this study is the religiosity scale and emotional regulation scale. This study used quantitative methods and for the sampling the researcher used incidental sampling techniques. The method used for the data analysis is a simple regression analysis and an additional age and gender analysis using the cross tabulation analysis (crosstab) with the help of SPSS 21.0. The results of data analysis showed a regression coefficient of 0.379 with a value of p = 0,000 (p <0.01), indicating that the hypothesis proposed in this study was accepted, that there was a significant positive role between religiosity towards emotional regulation in ikhwan and akhwat in the hijrah community. The result of the additional analysis using crosstab shows that the most dominant age of the subject are between 20 to 25 years old and the most dominant gender is akhwat. Effective contribution of religiosity towards emotional regulation is 0,144 or 14,4% and the rest is 85.6% influenced by others factors that is gender, age, culture and education.

This paper contributes to the growing body of work on planning discourse. In the context of the current ‘greening’ of British land-use planning, it poses the question: “How is the term ‘environment’ articulated within planning discourse?” With the use of material from development plans and development-control decision letters, an analysis is made of the term ‘environment’ which distinguishes ‘mundane’ and ‘sublime’ interpretations. The function of the texts analysed is then related to the dominant meaning given to the term, This raises further questions concerning the current preoccupation with using the land-use planning system to implement environmental policy and identifies the problems of moving between strategic planning and detailed development-control levels, a problem reflected in and compounded by the distinct operation of planning discourse at the two levels.

The authors examine the role of development plans in managing spatial change, The impact of the enhanced status of the development plan in the UK context is assessed with the aid of research material drawn from detailed case studies in Lancashire and Kent. Two governance ‘episodes’ are highlighted: a highly structured game within the mainstream planning system; and an innovative private-sector-led approach to planning for an area with the potential for rapid change. By means of these two illustrations the authors indicate the importance of the processes of development-plan preparation in the local context, the political tensions inherent to the land-use planning system in managing growth, and explore notions of plans being a store of local consensus about future spatial change.

Local spatial development plans, are one of the most important urban landscaping tools. Their goal is, on the one hand, to protect urban space including, inter alia, prevention of creation of illconsidered developments, that are bad to the urban landscape, the environment or the local communities. For this purpose, there is a number of restrictions introduced into local spatial development plans. On the other hand, the role of local plans is also creating the space, so they should be conducive to projects with high-quality architecture, that are often unconventional and innovative, adding new value to the architectural landscape of the city, which could be blocked by too strict regulations. The trick is to create regulations in a way that can help reconcile that two goals.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> Islamism has all of the characteristics of other secular<br />ideologies, such as the faith that it has and offers the one and only<br />absolute truth and thus claims that it reserves the right to impose<br />law which must be obeyed by the society. Its ideological thought<br />which can endanger peace is that political views are considered<br />to be truth. On this basis, the society tends to be mapped out<br />according to the right/wrong schema and therefore the owners<br />of truth feel legitimized to disregard and oppress groups which<br />they consider wrong. This has a serious consequence for realistic<br />understanding of what politics is. One typical, main characteristic<br />of an ideological thought is that obliterating enemies is considered<br />as an essential part of political duties, which is a principle to watch<br />out for. Politics is not theory but praxis (action) and hence there<br />is no absoluteness. Consequently, there are always pro and contra,<br />the need for consideration, and the possibility of compromises. In<br />all political process, there would be the winner and loser, but there<br />would be no right and wrong. The role of politics lies in an effort<br />to ensure peaceful social life with freedom and justice among<br />people of different religious backgrounds who are determined to<br />build a nation together.</p><p><br /><strong>Keywords:</strong> Politics, Islamism, Ideology, Ideological Thought</p>

Tschacher and Haken have recently applied a systems-based approach to modeling psychotherapy process in terms of potentially beneficial tendencies toward deterministic as well as chaotic forms of change in the client’s behavioral, cognitive and affective experience during the course of therapy. A chaotic change process refers to a greater exploration of the states that a client can be in, and it may have a potential positive role to play in their development. A distinction is made between on the one hand, specific instances of instability which are due to techniques employed by the therapist, and on the other, a more general instability which is due to the therapeutic relationship, and a key, necessary result of a successful therapeutic alliance. Drawing on Friston’s systems-based model of free energy minimization and predictive coding, it is proposed here that the increase in the instability of a client’s functioning due to therapy can be conceptualized as a reduction in the precisions (certainty) with which the client’s prior beliefs about themselves and their world, are held. It is shown how a good therapeutic alliance (characterized by successful interpersonal synchrony of the sort described by Friston and Frith) results in the emergence of a new hierarchical level in the client’s generative model of themselves and their relationship with the world. The emergence of this new level of functioning permits the reduction of the precisions of the client’s priors, which allows the client to ‘open up’: to experience thoughts, emotions and experiences they did not have before. It is proposed that this process is a necessary precursor to change due to psychotherapy. A good consilience can be found between this approach to understanding the role of the therapeutic alliance, and the role of epistemic trust in psychotherapy as described by Fonagy and Allison. It is suggested that beneficial forms of instability in clients are an underappreciated influence on psychotherapy process, and thoughts about the implications, as well as situations in which instability may not be beneficial (or potentially harmful) for therapy, are considered.

The study deals with the subject of threats to the Saudis youth thinking and the good ways to overcome them. The study used the analytical descriptive method, which is the most appropriate one for the nature of this study. The study showed the importance of young people to the nations, and explained that intellectual guidance influences youth thinking. It also mentioned that Westernization was a prime objective of the Western intellectual invasion, where he seeks to distract youth and others from their Islamic beliefs, and impose western values and convictions, which not serve their religion or their homelands, and mentioned that the most threatening is technical threat at this time. It also explains the most important social threats that affect the upbringing of young people such as family, friends and media. The study concluded to show how to face these threats, and what is the appropriate mechanism to overcome them and reduce the impact, and even used positively to young people from harm. And that social media is a double-weapon. It can play a positive role in influencing young people's thinking on the one hand, and it can have a negative impact on young people's thinking on the other hand. We must concentrate on the role of institutions of socialization in forming the personality of the individual from their childhood until their youth, so the institutions of socialization should play effective positive role.

This article examines the political process and public debate in Finland concerning the Finnish women and children held captive in the refugee camp of Al-Hol in north-east Syria. The article studies the role of affect in the process of constructing justice in these debates. It argues that the debate demonstrates an affective process of bordering, in which a non-belonging and essentially non-Finnish identity was affectively constructed to the mothers, who were depicted as “converts” and “jihadists”. Emotions such as compassion were mobilised in the process with ambiguous outcomes. On the one hand, reference to compassion served the conservative agenda of attaching rights to worthiness, on the other hand reference to compassion towards the figure of the innocent child served to isolate the children from their mothers. In the legal context, the affectively constructed identities of the mothers as non-belonging were relevant to how the issue of rights and legal obligations of the state became perceived as something belonging to the realm of national law or international law.
