Roll straightening is an important process link in sheet production. Due to the step change of the straightening force during the straightening bite and the tail flick, the whole-plate length straightening and pressing process changes will affect the straightening effect. Based on the solution of the curvature integral straightening process, this paper introduces the stiffness coefficient of the straightening equipment. Through C language programming, the iterative solution has been realized, and the process parameters of the dynamic change of the straightening reduction have been obtained. The enumeration method was used to establish a calculation method to optimize the entire board-length straightening process. The laboratory comparison of the 11-roll straightening machine proves that the straightening process optimization model meets the application requirements.

The thesis builds the optimization model for the self-balacing torsion bar, On the basis of the Ant Colony Algorithm, designs the Ant Colony Algorithm procedure using C Language and optimizes torsion bar diameter. Results show the Ant Colony Algorithm is feasible and provides a new method choosing torsion bar diameter. The max difference value is 1.12% between optimizing results and theoretical results.

Hollow ceramic microspheres of Al2O3, SiO2, and mullite have been prepared by the combination of an emulsion technique with a water extraction sol-gel method. Concentration of sol, initial droplet size, and water extraction rate of the system are found to be the important process parameters controlling the size and wall thickness of the hollow microspheres, and their influences are shown. A model that correlates the morphology of microspheres to concentration and water extraction rate is proposed and is in good agreement with the experimental observations. The capability and limitation of this process for forming hollow microspheres are demonstrated. It was shown that hollow microspheres with sizes greater than 5 μm could be readily prepared, while a limitation was met for sizes less than 1 μm, in which case solid microspheres were normally formed.

Aircraft scheduled maintenance with their preciseness, complexity, has the characteristics of the planning, for high requirement of man-hour management. Man-hour maintenance standards data is the most important in production management of the quantization standard, which is the key to reasonable use of human resources, keep the maintenance quality, improve the production efficiency and reduce cost. According to production management system of scheduled maintenance the application requirements, business processes of production analyzed; Maintenance of production man-hour foundation database system structure, knowledge acquisition, and data warehouse etc are discussed; SQL server 2008 building database and C# language develop core program, for aircraft scheduled maintenance to offer an effective management mode.

Little information is available about the corner shape and size produced in electrochemical drilling of blind holes. On this account prediction of the complete anode shape analytically, in ECD, is not possible. This paper reports the experimental findings regarding the shape and size of the corners copied, in the anode during electrochemical drilling of blind holes using a tool of specified geometry. An equation evolved by regression analysis of experimental data has been suggested for this purpose. With a view to improve results, an equation based on dimensional analysis has also been presented. Finally, a comprehensive mathematical model accounting for the independent, higher order, and the interaction effects of different important process parameters on the yield (anode radius) has been proposed and its adequacy has been tested by the analysis of variance and accuracy against experimental data.

Composite sheets, consisting of sheet metals and polymer layers, have high application potential. Depending on the used layers they can be used as corrosion protection, lightweight or sound insulation materials. To exploit the advantages of these materials the parameters of conventional manufacturing processes have to be adapted. In this publication the influence of important parameters on the shear cutting quality is explained.

A low-cost direct metal RP process based on the plasma arc welding (PAW) is presented. The impacts of two important process parameters (pulse current and wire-feeding speed) on the distortion of the substrate are investigated. The temperature field and the distortion of the depositing process are simulated by finite element analysis. The results show that the heat input and the quantity of the metal fed into the molten pool influence the distortion of the substrate. Higher pulse current and wire-feeding speed will bring on larger distortion.

During the resistance spot welding quality control process, the traditional quality control methods can’t compensate all the affecting factors effectively. By welding 316LVM stainless steel wire to the surface of sheet of the same material, three kinds of process parameters, including electrode voltage, dynamic resistance and electrode displacement which affected by many affecting factors during the spot welding process were measured and analyzed. The results show that, by comparing with the process parameters during the normal situation, the dynamic change of the these process parameters during different stage appears distinguishable characteristics, these characteristics would supply a research basis for recognizing whether the affecting factors exist.
