Influence of Web Based Cooperative Learning Strategy and Achiever Motivation on Student Study Outcome

The research aimed at examining the effect of instructional strategy (web-based STAD and text-based STAD) and achiever motivation toward student learning outcomes. The research implied quasi-experimental design with nonequivalen control group factorial version. The subjects were undergraduated students of Information Systems of academic year 2014/2015 at STIKOM Surabaya. Two groups were involved in the investigation with which amounts to 67 students, comprised of 34 students for the experimental class and 33 students for grade control. The collected data were statistically processed using analysis of variance techniques (ANOVA) two paths using a significance level of 0,05. The results of this research indicate that there is a difference in outcome study of Organization Behavior courses is significant between groups of students who studied with a web-based STAD type cooperative instrutional strategies and textual STAD type cooperative strategies. Based on the findings of this research, researchers suggest implementing STAD tipe cooperative of instructional strategy, with simultaneously (complementary) between the web-based and text-based in the form of blended learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project based learning) terhadap kemampuan kerjasama anak Taman Kanak-kanak. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimen semu yang menggunakan desain nonequevalent pretest-posttest control group desaign. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus III Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelompok B2 Taman Kanak-kanak Widya Kumara Banjar Jawa yang berjumlah 21 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok B Taman Kanak-kanak Dana Punia yang berjumlah 26 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang kemampuan kerjasama sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Dari hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas varians, diketahui bahwa sampel bersistribusi normal dan varians populasinya homogen, maka untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project based learning) terhadap kemampuan kerjasama anak (t= 21,551, sig= 0.000).Kata Kunci : Kerjasama, metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek. This study was quasi-experimental research using a nonequevalent pretest-posttest control group desaign. Population in this research were all children of group B Kindergarten in Cluster III of Buleleng Subdistrict in Academic Year 2017/2018. The sample in this research were group B2 Kindergarten Widya Kumara Banjar Jawa which amounted to 21 children as experiment group and group B Kindergarten of Dana Punia which amounted to 26 children as control group. Data collection method used in this research was observation method used to collect data about the cooperation ability before and after treatment. From the test of normality and homogeneity variance, it was known that the sample were normally distributed and the variance was homogeneous, so to test the hypothesis t-test was used with 5% significance level. The result of the research showed that there was an effect of project based learning method on the cooperation ability of children (t = 21,551, sig = 0.000). keyword : Cooperation, project-based learning method.

One of the factors that impact the unsuccessfulness of studying PPKn in schools is the use of a learning model that is still less innovative. Teachers tend to use the old method that is teaching the materials using lectures, questions and answers, then giving the student assignments. As a result, students feel bored, passive, less interested in learning, which decrease students’ learning outcomes. Group Investigation can be used as an alternative that will encourage students to be more active in learning with groups. This study aims to determine the effect of Group Investigation on students’ learning outcomes in studying PPKn in the fifth grade student at SDN 2 Kalijaga academic year 2020/2021. This research is experimental research with Quasi Experimental Design type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Population of this research was the fifth grade students of SDN 2 Kalijaga in academic year 2020/2021 consisting of two classes. The total number of the population was 45 people, all of them were chosen as the sample, where V/A as the experimental class and V/B as the control class. The researcher conducted observation and test to collect the required data. The result from the observation of applying Group Investigation in teaching indicate "fantastic" category with an percentage of 93.18% at the first meeting and 95.45% at the second meeting. The results showed that the score of student learning outcomes after being given treatment using Group Investigation was higher than before treatment. This is indicated by their pre-test score that is 50. After being given treatment their score increased become 86.81 in the post-test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing of independent samples t test using SPSS 16.0 showed that the value of tcount equal to (2.742 and 2.727) > ttable (0.294) for students’ achievement and significance level signify (Sig. 2-tailed) 0.009 < 0.05. So that, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that there is a positive effect of Group Investigation on the students’ learning outcomes in studying PPKn at grade V students of SDN 2 Kalijaga in the academic year 2020/2021.

This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes between students who take the Civics with cooperative learning strategies and investigations group of students who take lessons with conventional teaching model in class VI students of SD Negeri 2 Datah, Abang, Karangasem academic year 2016/2017.This research is a quasi experimental study . The study populationwas all students of class XI of  SD Negeri 2 Datah Karangasem academic year 2016/2017 , amounting to 115 people . The study sample is a class VI student of  SD N 2 Datah which were 25 students of class VI. Data on students' learning outcomes Civics obtained through a written test conducted at the end of the lesson . The data obtained were then collected and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics (test ).Based on the analysis of data , obtained thit = 13.20 and ttab ( at significance level of 5 % ) = 2.00. Obtained average (x) count , the experimental group was 26.9 and the control group was 16.73 . This means that the experimental > control , so it can be concluded that the model of learning group investigastion  affect learning outcomes Civics class VI students of  SD N 2 Datah regency of Karangasem

This study aims to determine the effect of the Barrett Taxonomy Reorganization Method on the intensive reading ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua, Pinrang Regency, 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with True Experimental Design. The variables in this study were the Barrett Taxonomy Reorganization Method and intensive reading skills. The experimental group was class VIII.1 students and the control group was grade VIII.3 students of SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua, Pinrang Regency. Research data collection techniques in the form of tests. The results showed that the intensive reading ability using the Barrett Taxonomy Reorganization method was higher than the intensive reading ability using the conventional method for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua, Pinrang Regency. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5% (95% confidence level) obtained t count (3.061)> t table (0.278). The value of t count> t table shows that the intensive reading skills of the two groups differ significantly. Therefore, it can be concluded that the effect of the Barrett Taxonomy Reorganization method can not only improve students' understanding but also their reading ability.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the PQ4R Learning strategy (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) on the learning outcomes of Integrated Science in Islamic Education in Biology learning. This research is a quasi-experimental study using the Posttest-Only Control Design design while data collection is done using a test instrument. The sample of the study was class VIII C (experimental class) totaling 28 students and class VIII D (control class) totaling 28 students. The research data obtained the highest score in the experimental class was 92 and the lowest score was 44 with an average of 72, while in the control class the highest score was 80 and the lowest score was 40 with an average of 63.57. Based on the calculation using the t test obtained thitung = 2.77 and at a significant level of 5% obtained ttable = 2.01 and a significance level of 1% t table = 2.68 thus 2.01 <2.77> 2.68. So that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence on the results of Integrated Science learning of students who use the PQ4R learning strategy (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah.   Keyword: Student learning outcomes, PQ4R learning strategy (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite,Review)   Abstrak. Tujuan Penelitian ini adaah untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi Pembelajaran PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) terhadap hasil belajar IPA Terpadu di Madrasah Tsanawiyah pada pembelajaran Biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain Posttest-Only Control Design sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII C  (kelas eksperimen)  berjumlah 28 orang siswa dan siswa kelas VIII D (kelas kontrol) berjumlah 28 orang siswa. Data hasil penelitian di peroleh skor tertinggi di kelas eksperimen adalah 92 dan skor terendah 44 dengan rata-rata 72, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh skor tertinggi 80 dan skor terendah 40 dengan rata-rata 63,57. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung= 2,77 dan pada taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh ttabel = 2,01 dan taraf signifikansi 1% ttabel= 2,68 dengan demikian  Sehingga Ha diterima, artinya bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA Terpadu siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) di Madrasah Tsanawiyah.   Kata kunci: Hasil belajar siswa, startegi pembelajaran PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review)

This study aims to determine the implementation of Arabic learning using the Gallery of Learning strategy and is there an increase in student learning outcomes after the Gallery of Learning learning strategy is applied. This research model uses a quasi-experimental design model (Quasi Experiment) with test techniques (pre-test and post-test), observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis to test the hypothesis proposed using the "t" test through the SPSS 16.0 program as well as the validity test, reliability test, normality test, and homogeneity test. The analysis shows that the implementation of Arabic learning begins with the teacher explaining the material to be learned, then students are divided into 8 groups. The teacher explains the task of the group to discuss the material that has been determined and write the results on paper and put on top of the sponati and make a gallery. Then each group shares an assignment to tour the gallery to find out other material and maintain the gallery to explain the contents of the material to students who visit the gallery. The end of the activity is a reflection and conclusions together on what has been learned. After the implementation of the strategy, it was found that there was no significant increase in student learning outcomes using the Gallery of Learning learning strategy in class XI IPA 1 MAN 4 Sleman. Based on the results of the "t" test, the value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.195> 0.025, then on the basis of Independent Sample t-Test decision making, it is evident that there is a difference in influence between the average experimental group and the control group. However, it is not significant. The results of this analysis can be concluded that the Gallery of Learning learning strategy cannot significantly improve student learning outcomes in Arabic subjects in class XI IPA MAN 4 Sleman. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Arab menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Gallery Of Learning dan adakah peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah diterapkan strategi pembelajaran Gallery Of Learning. Model penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen model desain eksperimen kuasi (Quasi Eksperimen) dengan teknik tes (pre-test dan post-test), observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan menggunakan uji “t” melalui program SPSS 16.0 serta uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, dan uji homogenitas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Arab diawali dengan guru menjelaskan materi yang akan dipelajari, kemudian siswa dibagi menjadi 8 kelompok. Guru menjelaskan tugas kelompok untuk berdiskusi tentang materi yang telah ditentukann dan menuliskan hasilnya di kertas dan ditempelkan di atas sponati dan membuat sebuah galeri. Kemudian setiap kelompok berbagi tugas untuk berkeliling galeri mencari tahu materi yang lain dan menjaga galeri untuk menjelaskan isi materi kepada siswa yang berkunjung ke galerinya. Akhir kegiatan diadakan refleksi dan menyimpulkan bersama terhadap apa yang telah dipelajari. Setelah diterapkannya strategi tersebut diketahui adanya peningkatan yang tidak signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Gallery of Learning di kelas XI IPA 1 MAN 4 Sleman. Berdasarkan hasil uji “t”, nilai Sig.(2-tailed)=0.195>0.025, maka dengan dasar pengambilan keputusan Independent Sample t-Test, terbukti terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara rata-rata kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Namun, tidak signifikan. Hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Gallery of Learning tidak dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan pada mata pelajaran bahasa Arab kelas XI IPA MAN 4 Sleman. The reseacrh aims of this study was to determine the effect of the use of the Field Trip Method on the Learning Motivation of University Students Quality Semester IV Class 2B23 Academic Year 2019-2020. This study uses a quasi-experimental type. The technique used to determine the experimental and control groups is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used tests, and observation sheets. The results showed that there was a significant effect of learning achievement on the Low Class Natural Science Education Course between the experimental group and the control group. This is evidenced from the results of the calculation of the t-test score increasing learning achievement at a significance level of 5% (95% confidence level) obtained tcount = 3.734. The next tcount value is compared with the ttable value. T value = 3,734> t table = 1,687, this states that the difference is significant because t count> t table.

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dapat dikarenakan adanya beberapa faktor seperti proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung serta pemilihan metode pembelajaran. Rendahnya tingkat prestasi hasil belajar siswa juga dipengaruhi oleh siswa yang merasa bosan dalam menerima materi dan tergolong pasif di kelas. Upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa ini dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran mind map. Tujuannya adalah mengukur pengaruh metode pembelajaran mind map pada mata pelajaran komputer dan jaringan dasar terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan Quasi Experimental. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan separated varian, menunjukkan bahwa pada taraf signifikan 0.05 dengan diperoleh Thitung 7.65 > Ttabel 1.672, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran mind map terhadap hasil belajar dengan hasil aspek afektif dari kedua kelas dikategorikan baik, rata-rata kelas eksperimen 76% sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 69.17. Low learning outcomes can be caused by several factors, such as learning processes and learning methods. Another contributing factor worth considering is the student boredom and passiveness in the class. On that ground, the present study was aimed at applying a learning method called mind map method in the subject of computer and basic network; it focused on examining the extent to which the learning method contributed to the student learning outcomes. This quantitative research relied on a quasi-experimental approach. The hypothesis was examined using a t-test with separated variants. According to the result of the test, t-count (7.65) was greater than t-table (1.672), with a significance level of 0.05. In other words, H0 was refuted and H1 was accepted. This result further indicated the significance of the mind map method to the learning outcomes. It was shown that the affective aspect of the learning outcomes of both the experimental group and control group fell under a good category, with a percentage of 76% and 69.17%, respectively.

This research principally aims to find out whether or not there is significance effect of using flashcard on students’ vocabulary acquisition. the research was conducted from 3th to 29th November 2016 at SMPN 45 Bekasi, in the Academic Year of 2016/2017.The research methodology adopted was quasi experimental method, with the research design being randomized post test only control group design. The statistic method used to analyze the data was ANOVA using SPSS through the testing of Null Hypothesis, which was preceded by the normality and homogeneity test as the pre-requisite to the data analysis. The result of ANOVA showed significance value was 0,000, which was lower than 0,05, and that Fobserved ( 35,926 ), which was higher than the critical value of Ftable (at the significance level of 0.05 and df = 1/58, namely 3.982. Accordingly, the Null Hypothesis (Ho), stating that there is no effect using flashcards on students’ vocabulary acquisition at SMPN 45 Bekasi, was rejected and the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha), stating that there is significance effect using flashcards on students’ vocabulary acquisition at SMPN 45 Bekasi was accepted.On the basis of the rejection of Ho and acceptance of HA, it can be concluded that flashcards has significance effect on students’ vocabulary acquisition at SMPN 45 Bekasi. In other words, the research has empirically proved that there is significance effect of using flashcard on students’ vocabulary acquisition at SMPN 45 Bekasi.
