In modern conditions of functioning of the higher education system, the goal of introducing distance learning is to organize a high-quality educational process “at a distance” using the latest information and communication tools and open access to educational resources. It is this form of training that can quickly adapt to the requirements of the information society and prepare the future specialist for the challenges of the digital environment. In combination with traditional forms, distance education in a higher educational institution can provide a wide range of educational services for both applicants and students to acquire the necessary skills for future professional activities, and for teachers to improve their skills. At the moment, the main problems in introducing high-quality free educational space is the lack of technical and financial support, the legislative basis of distance learning, and this is a leading factor in curbing the development of technology at the university. There are no qualified teachers specially prepared for working in remote mode. However, given the willingness of universities to train teachers to work remotely, the negative impact of this factor in the near future can be eliminated. Subject to the solution of the above problems, an effective distance learning will be created that will comprehensively reveal the student’s potential, taking into account both individual and universal needs.

High competition in the educational service market and the necessity to provide advanced level of quality in training of specialists require introducing into traditional educational form a new format based on information technologies and interactive methods of educational process by research and educational staff of higher education institution. The specific of MOODLE using for distance learning during the quarantine COVID-19 is considered and its advantages and disadvantages for training management and administration specialists are discussed in the article. The questionnaire which was carried out by authors among students of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of the Centralukrainian National Technical University in terms of their attitude about LMS MOODLE use for distance training during spring semester of 2019–2020 academic year students shows the next results: Most of the students had a positive attitude to distance learning – 48,3 %, negative – 34,5 %, neutral – 17,2 %. From students prospective the main advantages were the opportunity to study and work at the same time (32.4 %) to plan more flexible study schedule (29.7 %). Existence of such negative situation as wish to cheat while performing tests and tasks in MOODLE. Difficulties for lecturers to control stand-alone basis tests and tasks performance by students. The main problem was the independent study of lectures and practical tasks by students without teachers’ support. To improve the effectiveness of training asynchronous Moodle or Google Classroom platforms and learning sessions in Zoom, Meet, Skype, etc should be combined. This approach allows visualizing educational material with presentations and simplifying training materials by students, as well as expanding opportunities for students with special educational needs to obtain professions in management and administration.

Among medical students, deduction remains the main method in making a diagnosis or diagnostic conclusion after examining patients or their detailed examination. This method gives the opportunity to clearly and objectively formulate an opinion and assess the patient's condition according to the diagnosis. Therefore, deduction and its methods are relevant both among medical students and among medical staff. The role of application of the deductive method among medical students is substantiated. It is established that the application of deduction while studying in a medical higher educational institution will allow influencing the already developed personality of the student and developing in him or her the “building” type of personality orientation. Therefore, this method constitutes a topical issue of today. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the specific features of the deductive method among medical students based on literature analysis. To implement the goals and objectives, three stages of studying the features of the deductive approach among medical students were proposed. In the first stage of the research the role of deduction in the educational process, its advantages and disadvantages were determined by means of processing the literature according to the method of analysis and synthesis; during the second stage the types of personality, ways of influencing its development are determined, the interrelation between the type of personality and its level of thinking is traced; The third stage of the study included the assessment of deductive methods that allow students to form clarity and correctness of action, as well as to develop students' thinking by setting a position, justifying it with an example and forming a conclusion. The study identified the essential role of the deductive method among medical students in the development of personality orientation and development of mental activity. It is found that the use of the PRESS method will make it possible to clearly define the position, justify the result, and draw a correct conclusion (diagnosis), which is mandatory in the analysis of pathological conditions in medicine. Proper pedagogical education allows obtaining the desired result. By adhering to the criteria of teaching material, such as conceptuality, logic of the process, system, controllability, efficiency, and reproducibility, the teacher will attract the attention of a medical student and interest him or her in analysing the subject

Distance learning is the process of acquiring knowledge, abilities, skills and methods of human cognitive activity, it occurs mainly through the indirect interaction of participants in the educational process distant from each other in a specialized environment, it functions on the basis of modern psychological, pedagogical and information and communication technologies. In today’s world, distance learning is a must. This was shown by the existing COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of our work was to present teaching methods at the Department of Orthodontics of the Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy and to determine the advantages and disadvantages of distance education. To present theoretical and practically oriented content, organize independent work and control knowledge during quarantine, the possibilities of distance learning were used using the Google Classroom web service and using the ZOOM platform, Google-meet, which made it possible to use video, photographic materials, tables, control and diagnostic models, panoramic and other images, orthodontic appliances, orthodontic instruments. Distance learning technology is flexible than traditional. This is its advantage. It is aimed at those who study, creates a comfortable environment for the applicant for higher education to master the material 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Distance learning allows you to move away from the traditional system of teaching educational material. However, this teaching methodology requires a high level of teacher training. The teacher must have modern pedagogical and information technologies and be psychologically ready to work with applicants for education in a new educational and cognitive environment. The distance form of education must correspond to the methods of teaching in higher medical school. So, the material and technical clinical base of the Department of Orthodontics of the UMCA allows you to provide high-quality online training. But the spread of COVID-19 leads to day-to-day changes in all spheres of life, including healthcare, and the education system.

The article discusses the conceptual directions of the development of education: all-age and continuous. Two interrelated basic tendencies of all-age education have been identified. The authors considered the specificity of educational concepts in different countries of the world. Depending on the level of embeddedness of research competence in the activity, a morphological five-aspect classification is proposed. The following aspects of the division were identified as independent: mental orientation of the individual to the implementation of research activities; own (individual) motivational apparatus that stimulates a person to carry out research activities; the level of requirements and the presence of high-quality psychological support of the close external environment for the formation of acquired properties (signs) in a person for the implementation of expedient research activities; the level of requirements and the presence of high-quality psychological support of the distant external environment for the formation of acquired properties (signs) in a person for the implementation of expedient research activities; the presence of a methodological and informational apparatus in an educational institution for identifying congenital and acquired personality inclinations to research activities. The system of research competence for a specific educational institution, including various aspects of its functioning, is presented by the authors in a code dimension (one of the basic requirements of the digital economy). A sequence of development of a code portrait is proposed, which allows the entire set of educational institutions to be divided according to the level of the state of the system of research competence, which gives the management apparatus of the university a powerful mechanism for the formation of acquired properties (attributes) in a person to carry out expedient research activities (creating the necessary volume and focus of research competence of students and trainees). Based on the proposed methodology, a comparison was made between two educational systems: domestic (Russian) and foreign (American).

The COVID-19 pandemic has re-emphasized distance learning. It became a powerful impetus for the transition from theoretical considerations to the practical implementation of such training in the school system (Strategy New Growth Model - New Social Policy, 2020). This article describes the experience of organizing such training for children in the 4th quarter of the 2019/2020 academic year. It considers all stages of implementation of distance learning, such as solution of legal issues regulating the activities of an educational institution; effective construction of the educational process, considering the important relationship "student-teacher"; the right choice of information technology that meets the capabilities and limited skills of students, and has a user-friendly interface. The experience of distance collaboration between a teacher, a student and his parents is also presented, which made it possible to build effective teaching and achieve a high-quality education.
