Integrated evaluation of the teaching-learning process in science: a proposal applied to the final years of elementary school Abstract In this article, the evaluate as component of the teaching-learning process was discussed. Until the 1980s, written tests (whether discursive or objective), were the central element for the evaluation process, being considered the unique method for this purpose. However, from the 90's, the educational community realized that the evaluation should overcome its classificatory character, becoming a diagnostic and summative procedure. For this purpose, the evaluation must be connected to the teaching and learning processes, as a much more comprehensive process, namely Teaching-Learning-Assessment (Onuchic; Allevato, 2011). In this sense, it's necessary to rethink classroom practices, and look for alternatives that could integrate these three important mechanisms. In this way, the aim of the present paper was to verify the functionality of an evaluation method, which could promotes students learning. It was reported an evaluation experience with the final years of Elementary School students, using the Observation Assessment with immediate intervention in the Sciences teaching, associated to the Problem Solving method. Although this evaluation method is not largely used, mainly in Elementary School, this assessment methodology was reported as effective, which can be employed to promote learning,  including in Science teaching. Keywords: Evaluate. Teaching-Learning-Assessment. Problem Solving method.

Technology becomes an integral part of academia. Computer or technology is rooted out from Mathematics. When it is said that 21st century is the century of technology, then how the field of education is remained away from technology. Modern science labs are technology oriented and in such a way the subject of Mathematics is also shifted on technology. Mathematics is not an integral part of daily routine life as well as playing a key role in the progress of science and technology. In the teaching learning process, technology-based teaching is the modern mode of teaching. Keeping in mind the same scenario, current study was conducted to highlight the concept of Mathematica (Mathematics and Information Technology) in the teaching learning process at secondary school level in Punjab province. Study aimed at to observe the technology role on the mathematics’ teaching at secondary school level. The study was quantitative by nature and descriptive approach was adopted. Self-developed questionnaire was applied as a research tool to get the data from the target sample through survey technique. Total targeted sample was 60 teachers who are teaching Mathematics at secondary school level and their 200 students. This study presents findings on the implementation of a teaching learning tool to enhance culturally responsive learning to enhance awareness of and knowledge about Malaysian traditional crafts in Visual Art classes. Most research in the Malaysian context exploring culturally responsive pedagogical methods has investigated theoretical and general properties, but few have attempted to investigate innovating tools to improve teaching and learning in schools and higher education. New methods with interesting features to teach certain cultural elements will not only trigger learning but can also instil the targeted values in students especially those living in multi racial countries. Using the Design and Development Method for one such tool, this study presents an evaluation of the Craft Fun Kit utilised by an experienced Visual Arts Education teacher in his class to study the students’ responses to and acceptance of the tool both to enhance learning and multicultural awareness. The overall results found that the Craft Fun Kit is relevant and appropriate as a learning tool which can enable students to attain Visual Art education learning outcomes at the secondary school level in Malaysia.
