The following article presents results of the complex research on postulation of immunohistochemical features of the ovaries’ structure in case of fetuses with a gestational term of 21-28 weeks from mothers with HILGT comparing to ones in case of fetuses from mothers with a physiological pregnancy. The materials of the research are: 25 fetuses from mothers with HILGT as well as 25 fetuses from mothers with physiological pregnancy. All fetuses had died antenatally and inranatally, as a result of violation of uteroplacental and umbilical-uterine circulation. Research methods: macroscopic, organometric, histological, immunohistochemical, morphometric, statistical. The organometric method revealed a clear decrease of main indexes of the fetuses’ ovaries from mothers with a complicated pregnancy comparing to ones in case of organs of fetuses from healthy mothers. Morphometric method revealed a clear decrease of a relative volume of cortical substance as well as a clear increase of a relative volume of brain substance in the gonads of fetuses from the main group; as well as it showed a clear decrease of an index of follicular tissue’ relative volume, likewise a clear increase of an index of interstitial component relative volume.The staining by picrofuxin by van Gieson method revealed a massive growth of the connective tissue in all strucutral components of organs of fetuses from mothers with HILGT relatively to gonads of fetuses from healthy mothers. Using of MCAT to main types of collagens allowed to reveal a violation of maturation of main types of collagens in the structure of connective tissue of fetal gonads in the main group. In the follicular component of the fetuses’ ovaries in the main group are appearing mature, cystic-artretic and growing forms of follicles. Immunohistochemical method revealed an increased number of an apoptotically altered eggs in the ovaries of fetuses from mothers with HILGT comparing to one in organs of fetuses from mothers with physiological pregnancy.  The peroxidase method revealed an increased endotheline-producing activity of the vascular component as arterial, like a venous type; likewise a clear decrease of the hormone-producing activity in the ovaries of fetuses from mothers with HILGT comparing to such indexes in fetal organs of fetuses from mothers with physiological pregnancy. The complex of changes in the ovaries of fetuses with a 21-28 weeks of gestational term, which was described, was formed under the influence of the chronic hypoxia, prolonged antigenic stimulation as well as hormonal violations in the mother-placenta-fetus system, which is a leading link of the infectious pathology’ pathogenesis. The aforementioned complex of the structural and functional changes in the ovaries of fetuses from mothers with HILGT in a gestational term of 21-28 weeks indicates violations in implementation and formation of the fetal gonads, as well as it could further lead to disorders of the germinal function in the female organism.

The relevance of the following article is prescribed by the growing number of perinatal mortality and morbidity among newborns due to the mother’s chronic infection of the lower genital tract (HILGT). It is commonly known, that HILGT contributes to the delay of the fetal development likewise is often manifested by the violation of internal organs and systems implementation. One of the most acute topic is the the fetus’ reproductive system in ther early gestation terms. However, the immunohistochemical features of the fetuses’ uterus structure with the gestational term of 21-28 weeks from mothers with HILGT on the current stage of the medical science develpment have not been described yet. The aim of the current research is to identify immunohistochemical features of the fetuses’ uterus structure with the term of gestation of 21-28 weeks from mothers, whose pregnancy is complicated by HILGT. Material of the research: 25 fetuses from mothers, whose course of pregnancy was physiological (group of comparison) as well as 25 fetuses from mothers, whose pregnancy was complicated by HILGT (main group). All fetuses had died intranatally, as a result of acute uterine placental and placental-fetal circulation. Research methods: organometric, histological, immunohistochemical, morphometric, statistical. The research results and their discussion: the organometric parameters of the fetuses’ uterus from the main group were clearily decreased in comparison to such parameters in case of the group of comparison. The decrease of the parameter of the uterine wall thickness of fetuses from mothers with the complicated pregnancy prescribes thinning of the main structural components. Namely: endometrium, myometrium and perimetrium. In case of endometrium of fetuses’ uterus a decrease of number of glands and the lack of their functional activity was noticed. It characterizes this layer as structurally immature.At the same time, in case of fetal organs of fetuses from mothers with complicated pregnancies, we could notice an increase in the number of apoptotically altered cells. Comparing to the structure of layers of uterine walls in case of fetuses from mothers with physiological pregnancy, in the uterus of fetuses from mothers with complicated pregnancy our attention is attracted by a massive growth of the connective tissue. In the myometrium it contributes to the disruption of the muscle fibers strusture likewise to its absence in some areas. By the immunohistochemical method it was possible to reveal a prevalence of the collagen of the III type in the structure of connective tissue likewise in the walls of blood vessels. It is connected primarily with disruption of the collagen’ maturation. The vascular component of the uterine wall in case of fetuses from mothers with HILGT differs from ones in case of fetuses from mothers with physiological pregnancy. This difference is grounded on the increase of endothelin-producing activity by vessels of both arterial and venous types. By processing preparations by monoclonal antibodies to estrogen, it has been postulated, that the intensity of the reaction as well as number of cells in the fetuses’ organs of the main group are clearily decreased comparing to ones in cases of fetuses from the group of comparison. The disorders of the fetuses’ uterus in case of fetuses from mothers with HILGT, that were provided in the current article, are prescribed by chronic hypoxia, endocrine disorders as well as influences of the infectious agents, that are taking place in case of such pathology. The characteristic features of the fetuses’ uterus structure in case of fetuses from mothers, whose pregnancy is complicated by HILGT, indicate gross violation in the organ’s implementation on the early stages of the fetal organogenesis, likewise they could be a leading link of pathogenesis of primary infertility’ development in the future ontogenesis.

In the following article we are disclosing immunohistochemical features of the fallopian tubes’ structure in case of fetuses with a gestational term of 21-28 weeks. We have studied the structure of organs of 15 fetuses from mothers with a chronic infection of the lower genital tracts (HILGT) (the group of comparison) relatively to one in case of 15 fetuses from mothers with a physiological pregnancy (the main group). All fetuses had a gestational term of 21-28 weeks and had died intranatally as a result of an acute disorder of uterine-placental circulation. Methods of reearch: organometric, histological, immunohistochemical and statistical. The complex research allowed to reveal a probable decrease of the organometric data as well as indicators of thickness of the main structural components of the organs’ wall in case of fetuses from mothers of the group of comparison relatively to ones in case of fetuses from the main group. By applying histological method we had reveled a disorder in the strucuture of mucous and muscular membranes in the structure of organs of fetuses from mothers with a pathology of pregnancy, which is manifested by decreasing of number of folds, uneven thickness of the mucous membrane as well as disorder in formation of the muscular membrane’ layers. Immunohistochemical method has revealed an increase of apoptotically changed mucosal cells in the fallopian tubes of fetuses from mothers with HILGT. By applying MCAT to endotheline-1 we have revealed an increased glow of endithelial cells in vessels both of arterial and venous types in the strucuture of the organs’ wall in case of fetuses from the group of comparison. During the study on the endocrine activity of organs of fetuses from mothers with complicated pregnancy we have postulated a probable decrease of the cells’ glow’ intensity towards MCAT of progesterone. At the same time, there is also an inflammatory infiltration in the mucous membrane of the fallopian tubes’ wall. The aforementioned changes in the strucuture as well as in the functional activity of fetuses’ organs from mothers’ with HILGT are formed under the influence of chronic hypoxia and endocrine insufficiency of the feto-placental complex, which is taking place in case of this pathology. Histological and immunohistochemical features of the fallopian tubes’ structure in case of fetuses from mothers with complicated pregnancy are indicating a disorder in formation and maturing of the organ as well as they could lead to development of ectopic pregnancy and tubal infertility in the subsequent ontogenesis.

In the following article we are going to provide the results of research on uterus’ structure in case of fetuses with a gestational term of 21-28 weeks from mothers, whose pregnancy was complicated by PE of different severity stage (15 cases) comparing to one in case of fetuses from mothers with a physiological pregnancy (15 cases). All fetuses have died intranatally as a result of an acute disorder in uterine-placental and uterine-fetal circulation. The research methods: macroscopic, organometric, histological, immunohistochemical, morphometric and statictical. By applying an organometric method we have revealed a probable decrease of indexes of weight, length and thickness of the uterine’ wall in case of fetuses from mothers with PE comparing to ones in case of fetuses from healthy mothers. The observative histological research had not revealed any significant changes in the strucutre of the organs’ wall in case of fetuses from the study groups. Thus, all organs were represented by mucous, muscular and serous membranes with a clear boundary between them. The comparative morphometric research had revealed the following features of the uterus’ wall structure in case of fetuses from mothers with PE. The indexes of thickness of all structural components of the organ’s wall were clearly decreased comparing to ones in case of fetuses from mothers with a physiological pregnancy. In the uterine endometrium of fetuses from mothers with PE of moderate stage of severity the features of proliferative (hormonal) activity are taking place, however, in the meanwhile, in case of organs of fetuses from mothers with PE of severe stage of severity we could notice a probable decrease of glands’ number as well as a lack of a proliferative activity in them (hypoplastic changes). By applying immunohistochemical method with using MCAT to CD 95 we have disclosed a probable increase of an apoptotic index in organs of fetuses from mothers with a complicated pregnancy towards one in case of fetuses from healthy mothers. Among the specific features of the uterine myometrium strucutre in case of fetuses from mothers with PE we could name the following ones: decrease of the vascular component percentage as well as increase growth of the connective tissue. Moreover, the structure of the connective tissue is represented mostly by the collagen of the III type, while, in case of organs of fetuses from healthy mothers the collagen of the I type prevails. In walls of the vessels of arterial type in case of uterus of fetuses from mothers with PE we could notice an increased glow of the collagen of the III type as well as a probable decrease of glow in case of collagen of the IV type. However, in case of organs’ vessels of fetuses from healthy mothers we could notice an increse of glow of the collagen of the IV type. There is a fact, which attracts an attention to it. Namely, all aforementioned changes in the uterine wall in case of fetuses from mothers with PE are minimally manifested, when the mild course of disease took place, and was maximally manifested in case of severe one. All changes in the uterus in case of fetuses from mothers with PE of different stage of severity, that were postulated above, could contribute to formation of glanduar hyperplasia, endometrial polyps, precancerous diseases as well as endometrial cancer in the subsequent ontogenesis, as well as it could lead to impaired pregnancy and infertility. All aforementioned changes in organs of fetuses from mothers, whose pregnancy was complicated by PE of different stage of severity, were connected with changes in the vascular bed of the mother-placenta-fetus system as well as with endocrine disorders, that take place in case of this pathology, in the organism of pregnant woman.

The aim: To evaluate the peculiarity of clinical manifestations of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS) in deeply premature infants from mothers with phenotypic markers of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia (UCTD). Materials and methods: The study represent the results of a retrospective clinical and statistical analysis of 268 premature birth report card and newborn report sheet. .The main (1 group) included 50 pregnants with obvious phenotypic markers of UCTD, the comparison group (group 2) consisted of 50 pregnant women without phenotypic markers of UDCTD. Results: According to the study, in 12 (24%) pregnant women of the main group at the time of admission to the clinic had contractions,which required specific therapy. Cervical cerclage was performed in 38 (76%) patients of the main group due to the presence of cervical insufficiency (CI). In these cases, the severity of the CI on the Steinber scale was 7.2 ± 0.4 points in the main group against 4.4 ± 0.2 points in the comparison group (p <0.05). Group I patients were more likely to have complications of labor such as:premature rupture of membranes, uterine contraction abnormalities and fetal distress, which required in most cases cesarean delivery (7% and 2%), respectively (p <0.05). The incidence of neonatal complications requiring respiratory support was 67% in group I and 48% in group II. According to our observations, the clinical manifestations of bronchopulmonary dysplasia were twice as high in infants of the main group (66%) against (44%) of the comparison group (p <0.05). Conclusions:1.Neonatal respiratory distress syndrome in premature infants is more often associated from mothers with UDCTD. 2. The high importance of steroid prophylaxis of NRDS and antioxidant therapy in reducing the frequency of mechanical ventilation and the development of bronchopulmonary pathology, especially in infants from mothers with UDCTD syndrome, has been proven. 3. The possibility of diagnosing disorders of functional maturation of the lungs in the fetal period using a non-invasive method of ultrasonography has been confirmed.

α-Fetoprotein (AFP) was successfully demonstrated in paraffin-embedded sections of human and rat fetal livers, by a multilayering immunohistochemical technique using the peroxidase-antiperoxidase system. Serial sections simultaneously subjected to immunofluorescence showed identical sites of localization in hepatocytic cytoplasm and sometimes in perivenous connective tissue. AFP-containing hepatocytes were located around efferent veins as well as randomly in the lobule. The immunoperoxidase technique has certain advantages over the immunofluorescence method which would justify the former's application in studies on the dynamics of AFP synthesis.

Background. The high prevalence of acute respiratory infections in children, recurrent episodes of acute bronchitis remain to be one of the hot topics of pediatrics. The causes of recurrent exacerbations of bronchitis in children, despite the numerous research works on this issue, are not completely clear. Aim: to study the features of the clinic in children with recurrent bronchitis. Methods. There were 58 patients aged 3 to 12 years with recurrent bronchitis. A study demonstrated the close relationship between recurrent episodes of acute bronchitis not only with pre-preschool and preschool age (when bronchopulmonary tissue is not completely differentiated), with the influence of negative environmental factors, with bacterial, viral infection, but also with signs of connective tissue disorders (CTD) in them. Results. Revealing connective tissue insufficiency explains the causes of disorders of bronchial cartilage and connective tissue, that lead to the development of bronchial dyskinesia thus exacerbating the vulnerability of immature bronchopulmonary tissue along with autonomic dysfunction, typical for CTD. Involvement of several organs and systems in the CTD process changes the course of clinical symptoms of recurrent bronchitis. Probably by the main differentiation of tissues of organs at this age, including connective tissue, can be explained the fact that in 2/3 of the children observed by the age of 7 the manifestations of exacerbations of the disease ceased. In the half of the patients with recurrent episodes, who had bronchial obstruction in the first year of life, a allergy history, paroxysms of respiratory dyspnoea after an additional examination, – asthma was diagnosed; in one patient an aneurysm of the lung vessels was revealed. Conclusions. Basing on the conducted study, the use of the term “recurrent bronchitis” is advisable in children of the first seven years of life. In patients with continuing episodes of bronchitis bronchopulmonary pathology should be excluded; in patients with allergy history and symptoms of bronchial obstruction, spasmodic cough in previous episodes of bronchitis asthma should be excluded. The presence of symptoms of connective tissue disorders in children with recurrent bronchitis requires a careful examination of patients for the detection of comorbid diseases.

Background. Improvement of the technical aspects of surgery in aesthetic surgery led to an increase in the number of transactions and significant increase contingent of women who are turning to specialized clinics. But it also significantly increased the proportion of patients with a variety of concomitant diseases requiring new approaches to operational technologies and special attention in the postoperative period. In this group of patients is high risk of intraoperative and postoperative complications significantly limits the range of indications. So to prevent these complications is an important question when planning operations in aesthetic surgery of the face. Objective. Determine structural and functional changes of temporal area skin in women of different age groups with an additional internal pathology. Methods. Intraoperative biopsy material of skin of 104 women at the age from 19 to 73 years, that was taken during standard surgery instrumentations for different defects of face skin correction, was investigated. Results and conclusion. It was determined, that involutive dynamic of microvessel condition in papillary layer of derma coincides with grade reduction of relative volume of microvessels bed. Microcirculation age changes include structural disorders of intrapapillary capillary loops, disorganization of arterioles in papillary and reticular layers of derma, disorders of venules because of the changes in microenvironmental fibrillar network. It is typical at the patients with nicotinic dependence, ischemic heart disease, hypertonic disease, a diabetes, and also adiposity of a different degree essential infringement of microvessels bed structure criteria of skin condition that gives the basis for allocation of the given contingent of patients as group of high intraoperative and postoperative risk at carrying out of frontlift.

ОСОБЛИВОСТІ СТРУКТУРНОЇ ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКИ ПАРОДОНТА ЩУРІВ ПРИ ЕКСПЕРИМЕНТАЛЬНОМУ ПАРОДОНТИТІ - Дані комплексні гістологічні дослідження показали, що при експериментальному ураженні пародонта щурів відмічалися структурно-функціональні зміни, які характеризувалися переважним ураженням м’яких тканин пародонта, в основі яких лежить запальний, а в подальшому - запально-дистрофічний процес, що поширювався з ясен на прилеглі тканини пародонта. Тобто запропонована експериментальна модель відтворювала запальні зміни в паро- донті, які відбуваються при пародонтиті. Так, на 8-му добу експерименту в тканинах пародонта визначалися зміни, що характеризувалися порушенням цілості зубоепітеліального з’єднання та утворенням пародонтальної кишені. При цьому, значні зміни відбувалися в мікроциркуляторному руслі тканин пародонта та проявлялися у вигляді розширення та артеріального повнокров’я капілярів, інфільтрацією периваскулярної сполучної тканини поодинокими плазматичними клітинами та розширенням міжендо- теліальних просторів з виходом серозного чи серозно-геморагічного ексудату. В сполучній тканині визначалися вогнищеві інфільтрати з переважанням поліморфноядерних клітинних елементів. Дегенеративні зміни відбувалися з боку волокнистих структур та проявлялися у вигляді дезорганізації та потовщення колагенових волокон і зменшення кількості міжклітинної речовини.<br />ОСОБЕННОСТИ СТРУКТУРНОЙ ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКИ ПАРОДОНТА КРЫС ПРИ ЭКСПЕРИМЕНТАЛЬНОМ ПАРОДОНТИТЕ - Данные комплексные гистологические исследования показали, что при экспериментальном поражении пародонта крыс отмечались структурно-функциональные изменения, которые характеризовались преимущественным поражением мягких тканей пародонта, в основе которых лежит воспалительный, а в дальнейшем - воспалительно-дистрофический процесс, который распространялся из десен на прилегающие ткани пародонта. Тоесть предложенная экспериментальная модель воспроизводила воспалительные изменения в пародонте, которые происходят при пародонтите. Так, на 8-е сутки эксперимента в тканях пародонта определялись изменения, которые характеризовались нарушением целости зубоэпителиального соединения и образованием пародонтально- го кармана. При этом, значительные изменения происходили в микроциркуляторном русле тканей пародонта и проявлялись в виде расширения и артериального полнокровие капилляров, инфильтрацией периваскулярной соединительной ткани единичными плазматическими клетками и расширением междуэндотелиальных пространств с выходом серозного или серозно-геморрагического экссудата. В соединительной ткани определялись очаговые инфильтраты с преобладанием полиморфноядерных клеточных элементов. Дегенеративные изменения происходили со стороны волокнистых структур и проявлялись в виде дезорганизации и утолщенния коллагеновых волокон и уменьшения количества межклеточного вещества.<br />PECULIARITIES OF STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PARODONTIUM RATS WITH EXPERIMENTAL PERIODONTITIS - Data complex histological studies have shown that parodontium lesions in experimental rats were observed structural and functional changes, which were characterized by a primary lesion of parodontium soft tissues, which are based on the inflammatory and later - inflammatory and dystrophic process, which spread from the gums to the adjacent parodontium tissues. That is, the proposed experimental model reproduced the inflammatory changes in the parodontium, which occur in periodontitis. So, on the 8th day of the experiment in parodontium tissues were determined by the changes that were characterized by violation of the integrity tooth-epithelial compounds and the formation of periodontal pockets. In this case, significant changes have occurred in the microvasculature of the tiss parodontium ues and is manifested<br />in the form of expansion and blood congestion of the capillaries, infiltration of perivascular connective tissue isolated plasma cells and expansion between endothelial spaces with access serous or serohemorrhagic exudate. In the connective tissue were determined patchy infiltrates with a predominance of polymorphonuclear cell elements. Relevance. Occlusal splints, made for the patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMD), influence proprioceptive sensitivity, sensory characteristics of pain, parameters of microcirculation of the pulp and periodontium of the healthy teeth. Condition of the pulp and periodontium of the healthy teeth should be assessed in patients with TMD associated with connective tissue dysplasia (CTD).Materials and methods. The study examined 36 TMD patients aged 26.3 ± 1.3 лет (М ± m) with CTD (n = 20, main group) and without CTD (n = 16, control group); with natural teeth, without complaints of TMD, masticatory muscles and periodontal condition. Laser doppler flowmetry (LDF) helped to analyze blood flow parameters in the periodontium and pulp of the healthy teeth. Received results were statistically analyzed.Results. Wavelet analysis revealed different microcirculatory flowmotion: high-amplitude irregular type was in patients of the main group, low-amplitude regular type was in controls. In the main group, perfusion is supported by high values of flux and vasomotion, ergotropic sympathetic effects (controlled by catecholamines) prevail, myogenic tone is reduced, elevated microvascular tone reflects possible changes in rheologic blood properties, microcirculatory signs of pain syndrome and relatively elevated ischemic index in pulp microcirculation of healthy teeth.Conclusion. Sensory and regulatory mechanisms, reflected by the condition of periodontium and pulp blood flow, can be regarded as early signs of inflammation and chronic pain in the diagnosis of TMD in patients without complaints.

Цель исследования - выявление структурных преобразований тимуса самок крыс Вистар при хирургическом лечении рака молочной железы и при химиотерапии. Методика. Рак молочной железы (РМЖ) индуцировали введением N-метил-N-нитрозомочевины 5 раз с интервалом 7 сут подкожно в область 2-й молочной железы справа. Оперативное лечение РМЖ проводили через 6 мес от момента индукции РМЖ. Курс химиотерапии проводили по схеме CMF. Гистологическое исследование тимуса и опухоли молочной железы проводили по стандартной методике. Методом точечного счёта производили морфометрию срезов и подсчет клеточных элементов в опухоли и структурно-функциональных зонах тимуса. Результаты. При РМЖ без лечения выявлены структурные признаки акцидентальной инволюции тимуса. После оперативного лечения РМЖ акцидентальная инволюция тимуса менее выражена по сравнению с химиотерапией. После оперативного лечения РМЖ, как и в группе РМЖ без лечения, в тимусе сохраняется уменьшение площади коркового вещества. По сравнению с РМЖ без лечения в тимусе уменьшалась площадь железистых эпителиальных образований, увеличилась плотность расположения клеточных элементов в корковом веществе. В структурных зонах тимуса увеличивалось количество макрофагов, снижалось количество клеток с пикнотичными ядрами. После химиотерапии, по сравнению с резекцией опухоли МЖ, в тимусе выявлены структурные признаки прогрессирования процесса инволюции. В тимусе уменьшена площадь соединительно-тканных элементов, снижено количество митозов в субкапсулярной зоне коркового вещества. Во всех исследуемых зонах увеличено количество клеток с пикнотичными ядрами и уменьшено число макрофагов. Заключение. После оперативного лечения РМЖ акцидентальная инволюция тимуса проявляется в менее выраженной форме, чем в группе с РМЖ без лечения. После химиотерапии РМЖ, по сравнению с оперативным лечением РМЖ, морфологические перестройки в тимусе свидетельствуют о снижении активности лимфоидного и эпителиального компонентов и увеличении числа гибнущих клеток. Aim. To identify structural changes in the thymus of female Wistar rats during surgical treatment of breast cancer or with chemotherapy. Methods. Breast cancer (BC) was induced by subcutaneous injection of N-methyl-N-nitrosourea into the second right breast 5 times at 7 day intervals. Resection of BC was performed 6 mos after BC induction, or chemotherapy was administered according to the CMF scheme. Histological examination of the thymus and breast tumor was performed according to a standard method. Morphometric study of sections and counting cell elements in the tumor and in structural and functional areas of the thymus were performed by point counting. Results. In untreated BC, structural signs of accidental thymus involution were evident. There was an increase in the area of connective tissue elements and of glandular epithelial tumors. After surgical treatment of BC, accidental thymus involution was less pronounced than after chemotherapy. Also after surgical treatment, as in the case of untreated BC, the thymus cortical substance remained decreased. Compared with untreated BC, the area of glandular epithelial tumors in the thymus decreased, and the density of cellular elements in the cortical substance increased. In the structural zones of the thymus, the number of macrophages increased, and the number of cells with pyknotic nuclei decreased. After chemotherapy, in comparison with surgical treatment, structural signs of involution of the thymus were evident. In the thymus, the area of connective tissue elements was reduced, and the number of mitotically dividing cells in the subcapsular zone of the cortical substance was reduced. In all the zones of the thymus, the number of cells with pyknotic nuclei increased, and the number of macrophages decreased. Conclusion. After surgical treatment of BC, accidental thymus involution was less pronounced than in the untreated group. After chemotherapy, compared with surgical treatment of BC, morphological changes in the thymus may indicate a decrease in the activity of the lymphoid and epithelial components and an increase in the number of dying cells.
