This paper reports the results of an analysis of English as a Medium Instruction (EMI) lecturers’ training needs at a Spanish state university. In order to carry out this analysis, participants were asked to complete a quantitative questionnaire and participate in a survey with open questions adapted from Pérez-Cañado 2020). Both analysis tools explored the lecturers’ needs in relation to specific areas: linguistic competence, methodology, materials and resources, continuing professional development training and their overall rating of the EMI programme. The results show that, on the one hand, EMI teachers feel that their linguistic competence is sufficient to conduct classes in English. On the other hand, participants seem less confident as far as their methodological competence is concerned and call for more specific ongoing training. These findings are mostly in consonance with the results of other studies carried out in similar contexts (Dafouz 2018; Macaro et al. 2019; Pérez-Cañado 2020; Coelho in preparation) but they also provide some new insights which should be taken into consideration in the design of specific training programmes for lecturers involved in EMI in Higher Education.

UDC 336.74   Vasylenko Artur, post-graduate student. Mariupol State University. Cryptocurrency Phenomenon in the International Monetary System. The main prerequisites of cryptocurrency emergence in the international monetary system in terms of regionalization of the world economy are defined in the article. Determination of «cryptocurrency» category was analysed from the point of two main approaches to its treatment: on the one hand cryptocurrency is admitted to be the currency equally to the sovereign currency, and on the other hand it is considered as an unrecognized virtual asset. The main consequences which arise in case of widespread use of crypto currency for the country and for the parties that agreed to use cryptocurrency were analysed and systematized. On the basis of the research, given the current trends in the world economy, the author put forward and substantiated the hypothesis to classify the phenomenon of cryptocurrency as the effects of a famous philosophical «Negation of negation law» formulated by G. AbstractWe investigate the complexity of various combinatorial theorems about linear and partial orders, from the points of view of computability theory and reverse mathematics. We focus in particular on the principles ADS (Ascending or Descending Sequence), which states that every infinite linear order has either an infinite descending sequence or an infinite ascending sequence, and CAC (Chain-AntiChain), which states that every infinite partial order has either an infinite chain or an infinite antichain. It is wellknown that Ramsey's Theorem for pairs () splits into a stable version () and a cohesive principle (COH). We show that the same is true of ADS and CAC, and that in their cases the stable versions are strictly weaker than the full ones (which is not known to be the case for and ). We also analyze the relationships between these principles and other systems and principles previously studied by reverse mathematics, such as WKL0, DNR, and BΣ2. We show, for instance, that WKL0 is incomparable with all of the systems we study. We also prove computability-theoretic and conservation results for them. Among these results are a strengthening of the fact, proved by Cholak, Jockusch, and Slaman, that COH is -conservative over the base system RCA0. We also prove that CAC does not imply DNR which, combined with a recent result of Hirschfeldt, Jockusch. Kjos-Hanssen, Lempp, and Slaman, shows that CAC does not imply (and so does not imply ). This answers a question of Cholak, Jockusch, and Slaman.Our proofs suggest that the essential distinction between ADS and CAC on the one hand and on the other is that the colorings needed for our analysis are in some way transitive. We formalize this intuition as the notions of transitive and semitransitive colorings and show that the existence of homogeneous sets for such colorings is equivalent to ADS and CAC, respectively. We finish with several open questions.

The vision of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is of ‘a fellowship of psychiatrists working with and for the general community to achieve the best attainable quality of psychiatric care and mental health’. It is the principal organisation representing the specialty of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand; it currently has around 2600 Fellows, who account for approximately 85% of psychiatrists in Australia and 50% of psychiatrists in New Zealand. The RANZCP sets the curriculum, accredits training and training programmes, and assesses trainee psychiatrists. In addition, it administers a continuing professional development programme for practising psychiatrists, has a role in policy development, publishes two scientific journals – the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry and Australasian Psychiatry – and holds an annual scientific congress.

This research describes the cultural obstacles in the communication oral and written between native speaker and non native speaker in English.  The obstacles of cultural is one of main obstacles in the  two peoples of communication in the different culural. The research,especially describes the one case of communication between Indonesian people and British people in the social media WhatsApp. The main data of the research is the communication transcript in the social media WhatsApp. Besides of that, the data comes from the interview with the responden.             The research is the case study of the Indonesian people and British people. The data analysis uses qualitative and descriptive method. The result of research shows the miscommunication from different cultural in English. This miscommunication not only caused of the skill of language(language competence) but also difference of cultural between of two peoples. Suggested  to the English learner that  not only learns in the languages aspects but also learns in the cultural aspects, because both of them coud not separate and interplay each others.

The work is dedicated to analyzing the management challenges of higher education institutions, which are discussed from two different angles: the management process and its supporting - ergonomic and infrastructural issues. The work is accomplished under the auspices of the Human Potential Management Laboratory at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The present work is a continuation of the previous research items, which were devoted to studying the perceptions of university challenges. The work is based on the qualitative analysis of the Georgian higher education system and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University management mechanisms, also the research analysis on the attitude towards the current challenges of TSU Economics and Business Faculty students and the academic personnel. 62% of the total composition of the academic personnel participated in the surve. The questionnaire included 48 closed and two open questions. The data was developed in the program "SPSS-Statistics”. Preliminary hypotheses have been verified by statistical methods. Person correlation test, the Chi-square tests and linear regression, namely the ANOVA test are used to analyse the results. The analysis of the challenges based on the qualitative and quantitative research became the basis of searching ways to improve the management strategy of higher educational institutions. The challenges identified in the work and the suggested recommendations will help the stakeholders interested in the issue/field.

In pedagogy songs have long been treated as an effective tool to raise motivation and memory. The article highlights the options for working with authentic French songs in a language classroom to reveal their potential for forming and developing the linguistic competence. To achieve this goal the authors consider the set of songs correlating with the curriculum, offer a system of exercises and tasks to develop linguistic competence and discuss the results of the experimental study demonstrating the efficacy of using French songs for certain teaching purposes.

This interview with Arkadiy Margolis, the first vice-rector of MSUPE, focuses on the issues related to the recently acquired membership of the Russian Educational Research Association in the European Educational Research Association (EERA). The Moscow State University of Psychology and Education played an important part in this process which enables Russian researchers to access the entire space of European educational research, to increase their publishing activity, and to participate in foreign international conferences. Also, this means support for young researchers allowing them, for instance, to take part in international schools for young scholars and to acquire new knowledge about modern research tools and design in educational research. All this became possible after a year and a half of hard work of improving ethical requirements and codes of research. MSUPE’s participation in the activities of the Educational Research Association corresponds with the University’s interest in promoting research which became obvious during the development and implementation of the innovative programme of education – the one that won the National Competition for Priority Project in Education all the way back in 2008.

Training of Pastors: Calling, Testing and Ordination The profession of being a pastor is under pressure. The challenge for churches and seminaries is to rediscover what it means to be called, and more specifically to be called for full time ministry in a local church. Such a calling needs to be secularised in order to be recovered. In this process the “job” of the called one needs to be determined, at least to a larger extent, by the congregation or parish. The point in question here is the fact that such “functions” as pastors are being given by God for equipping the body (Eph 4:7-16). When this is a reality, testing for such a call asks for a commitment to what the call, training for the profession and retaining status imply. Such testing leads to new freedom and the discovery of the complex nature of ministry on the one hand, and giftedness for specific ministries on the other. While further research is needed, the intermediate questions are whether there are seminaries that are willing to partner with churches to find an answer to the growing gap between professional training and church-based-training, and whether there are churches with the courage to take recruitment, testing, and ongoing training more serious.

The behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia are very predominant in the disease, aggravating the suffering of people with dementia and increasing the physical and emotional burden professional caregivers are exposed to. Despite being so present in nursing homes, professional caregivers do not always have adequate training or the tools needed to deal with these situations. Objectives: to determine what knowledge professional caregivers in residential centres have about behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia; to evaluate how behavioural and psychological symptoms associated with dementia are managed by professional caregivers in residential centres; and to know the training needs perceived by professional caregivers in behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia. Professionals (in the fields of psychology, nursing coordination and geriatric assistance) from residential centres for the elderly were interviewed and a qualitative analysis of the interviews was carried out. The results show that most professionals do not know the behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia or how to cope with them and have low levels of knowledge. This study highlights the need to design and provide ongoing training in the residential setting on the management of these symptoms.
