The objective of this research is to examine differences in the choice of destination attributes, from the perspective of cross-cultural visitors and local islanders at two world-class islands in Malaysia. Using a close-ended questionnaire and random convenience sampling method, data collection has been carried out at two most visited islands in Terengganu; Redang and Perhentian. A total of 391 respondents (tourists and local hosts) was involved in this study. The outcomes of this research have demonstrated that local hosts and island travelers responded to destination selection attributes differently. The hosts were concerned with the environment and island activities, while tourist groups emphasized on the availability of services and facilities on the islands. This study also highlights that Malay and western tourist have a significant different perception with regard to destination selection attributes. Western tourist is also seeking a chance to be part of the island community and take part in their daily lifestyle. This research provides information on destination selection attributes and highlights the importance of understanding about cultural differences among tourists and local hosts in delivering satisfactory services for the survival of island tourism over the long term.

The main purpose of this research was to analyse the children anxiety in both public and private schools. The main objectives of the study were (a) to identify the factor that involve to increase fear among children; (b) to investigate the positive and negative impact of anxiety on students academic performance; (c) to analyse the children learning state of mind during fear and submissive attitude. This descriptive research involved the data collection from ninety (90) teachers, three hundred and seventy five (375) students and forty (40) parents. They were selected by convenience sampling technique. It is found that when children are in fearful environment they feel panic attack and they participate less in class when they are in state of fear while most of the children think that stress, verbal threading and punishment is the basic cause of anxiety among early grades children.

The objectives of this research were to compare the happiness and thinking styles of undergraduate students in the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department and different departments, and to examine the relations between the students’ happiness levels and their thinking styles. Using the correlational study design 661, undergraduate students were determined by a convenience sampling method. Participants were selected in terms of being easily accessible from Gazi University, which is located in the Ankara province, Turkey. The analysis indicated that the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching students' average level of happiness was significantly higher than in some other departments. However, the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching students' need for cognition was not significantly different from the students from other departments. Physical Education and Sports Teaching students' faith in intuition was significantly higher than the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling students’. Besides, the happiness levels and thinking styles did not differ significantly by gender. There was a positive correlation between their faith in intuition and happiness. However, there was no significant relation between their happiness levels and need for cognition, nor need for cognition and their faith in intuition.

The development of online marketing facilitates promotion and increases interest in shoping for male and female consumers. The interest in shoping become a problem in management of personal finance, when income is limited. Especially for group of people who receive income as emlpoyees. The puprpose of this article explains the influence of consumptive behavior, gender, and income on management of employee personal finances in the garment division of PT Dan Liris Sukoharjo. This study uses standardized linier regression models. The data analyzed came from convenience sampling method. The sample size is 43 employees. Data collection was done by quesionnaires. The data is processed using SPSS 16.0 software. The result of the analysis show that income has a significant effect on management of employee personal finances while consumptive behavior and gender have no significant efect on management of employee personal finances. However, together it was found that there was a significant influence on consumptive behavior, gender and income on management of employee personal finances. Berkembangnya pemasaran online memudahkan promosi dan meningkatkan minat untuk membeli bagi konsumen pria dan wanita. Minat membeli barang-barang konsumtif menjadi masalah dalam pengelolaan keuangan pribadi ketika pendapatan terbatas, terutama untuk kelompok masyarakat yang menerima pendapatan sebagai karyawan. Tujuan artikel ini untuk menjelaskan pengaruh perilaku konsumtif, jenis kelamin, pendapatan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pribadi karyawan divisi garment PT Dan Liris Sukoharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi linier yang distandarisasi. Sampel sebanyak 43 karyawan ditarik dengan menggunakan metode convenience sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan kuesioner. Data diolah dengan menggunakan software SPSS 16.0. Hasil analisis menunjukkan pendapatan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pribadi karyawan, sedangkan perilaku konsumtif dan jenis kelamin secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan karyawan. Namun demikian, secara bersama ditemukan hasil terdapat pengaruh signifikan perilaku konsumtif, jenis kelamin dan pendapatan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pribadi.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of brand image, brand awareness, and product quality on the consumer’s purchase decision. The population of this research were students of Tarumanagara University in Jakarta. The sampling frame was limited to those of the Economic Faculty. The non-probabilistic convenience sampling method was used in this research. The method of data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The technique of data analysis used was the multiple regression analysis. The findings of this research showed that purchase decision is positively and significantly affected by brand image, brand awareness, and product quality.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of taxation socialization, tax service quality and tax rates on individual taxpayer compliance at the Padang Satu Primary Tax Office. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all individual taxpayers registered at the Padang Satu Primary Tax Office. Sampling was done using the Convenience Sampling method, with the Yamane formula calculation and a sample of 100 taxpayers was obtained. The data collection method used is using a questionnaire, and the analysis used is multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 16. The results of the study show that: (1) Tax socialization has a positive significant effect on individual taxpayer compliance, (2) Service quality tax does not affect the compliance of individual taxpayers, (3) Tax rates do not affect individual taxpayer compliance.Keywords: Taxation Socialization, Tax Service Quality, Tax Rates and Individual Taxpayer Compliance.

This research aims to examine the effect of competence, education level ofthe auditor, and time budget pressure on audit results quality.This research uses agency theory and expectancy theory. The research population was BPKP auditor in West Nusa Tenggara province. The sampling method was convenience sampling. The data collection was obtained by questionnaire.The data collection was obtained by questionnaire. The research results show that there is an influence from competence and auditor’s level of education on audit results quality, while there is no effect of time budget pressure on audit results quality.The coefficient of determination shows that audit results quality can be explained by 63.9% based on variations of the independent variables in the research, and 36.1% is not explained by the regression model and explained by other causes outside the regression model.

The study is aimed to formulate the stategies of West Sumatera’s Tour Operator in facing the COVID-19 Pandemic crisis. The limitation of mobilization in travelling to break the chain of the spreading of COVID-19 Pandemic, has paralyzed the Tour operator business in all regions including in West Sumatera. The strategies are formulated using SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Thread), by minimizing the weakness and thread and maximizing the strength and opportunity. Research data collection is conducted through in depth interview with some tour operator business stakeholders in West Sumatera, using purposive sampling method. Then, the data is analyzed descriptively, by noticing the strength, weakness, opportunity and thread factors of tour operator business in West Sumatera to formulate the strategies in facing the COVID-19 Pandemic crisis. The result reveals that there are several strategies conducted by tour operators in West Sumatera in the stage of short-term strategies, medium term strategies and long-term strategies to sustain the business.
