Abstrak. Penjara merupakan tempat yang memiliki konotasi sangat negatif di masyarakat. Orang-orang yang pernah menjalani kehidupan di penjara mayoritas mendapatkan pandangan miring di masyarakat. Kondisi ini menyebabkan penurunan konsep diri sehingga mantan Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) akan mengalami kendala sosial ketika kembali ke masyarakat pasca hukuman. Maka dari itu perlu adanya pembekalan yang mampu memberikan spirit bagi WBP agar memiliki lifeskill yang memadai. Metode pembelajaran tersebut telah ada di dalam Al Qur’an, yaitu “Bacalah dengan (menyebut) nama Tuhanmu yang menciptakan, Dia telah menciptakan manusia dari segumpal darah. Bacalah, dan Tuhanmulah Yang Maha Mulia, yang mengajarkan manusia dengan pena. Dia mengajarkan kepada manusia apa yang tidak diketahuinya.” (Q.S Al ‘Alaq : 1-5). Ayat ini merupakan ayat yang pertama kali diturunkan kepada Rasululloh SAW, yang merupakan pertanda bahwa beliau merupakan insan yang dipilih untuk mengemban tugas kerasulan, yaitu membawa pesan kerahmatan bagi seluruh alam (rahmatan lil alamin). Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali, membina dan mengembangkan potensi para Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) dengan memberikan treatment untuk membangkitkan kesadaran diri dan kepribadian positif dengan cara dzikir Asmaa-ul Husna. Metode Penelitian: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian mixed methode dengan pendekatan community based action research. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Untuk data kuantitatif diolah dengan menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test, sedangkan data kualitatif akan memperkuat hasil pengujian secara kuantitatif. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa terjadi perubahan yang signifikan pada karakter enterpreneurship, ketenangan hati dan well being sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti program.

AbstractThe method used in this research was action research applied in two cycles. This research was conducted to improve the Seventh Graders’ English vocabulary in SMP 1 PSKD, Jakarta. The 24 students of the seventh grade who participated in this study were taught vocabularies by using the TGT technique. The quantitative data, collected using tests, were analyzed by using the independent and paired sample t-test on SPSS version 22 program. The qualitative data, collected using the researchers’ diary notes, questionaire, open ended question sheets, and observation sheets, were analyzed descriptively. The results indicated that the TGT technique improved the participants’ English vocabulary, as shown by the increase of the mean scores of the tests conducted, i.e. the pre-test 55,94 (12,5%) increased to 66,81 (50%) of post-test of cycle I and to 83,23 (87,5%) of the post-test of cycle II. The statistical test also indicated that the use of TGT significantly increased the students’ English vocabulary. Based on the findings, it could be concluded that the use of TGT technique was effective to improve the seventh grade students’ English vocabulary. e19325 Background: Adults with cancer often struggle with persistent symptoms that negatively impact quality of life (QoL), physical and social function. Cancer rehabilitation delivered by a trained physical and/or occupational therapist (PT/OT) is recommended. However, evidence is lacking regarding the impact of community-based PT/OT on patients' functioning. Methods: We assessed adults (≥ 18 years) who completed cancer-specific visits in routine care at two outpatient rehabilitation clinics. Demographic and clinical data was patient-reported. Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) measures included: Global Physical Health (GPH) and Mental Health (GMH) scale (10 item); Physical Function (PF; 4-item), and Ability to Participate in Social Roles and Activities (SRA; 4-item). Hand grip strength (HGS) and the Timed Up and Go (TUG) were administered by PT/OT. We compared outcomes collected during the first and final therapy evaluations using paired samples t-test and calculated effect size using Cohen’s d. We used independent t-test to compare mean pre-post change between patients on active treatment versus post-treatment. Results: Patients (N= 185) were predominantly female (75%), 41-64 years old (57%), and majority receiving cancer treatment (58%). Most (N =115, 62%) completed at least one follow-up evaluation over 6 weeks. From pre to post therapy, a significant (p<.05; d = 0 .35-.21) effect was observed for GPH, SRA, HGS, and TUG. There was no difference in the average improvement between active and post-treatment groups. Conclusions: Community-based cancer-specific PT/OT has a significant impact on the well-being and functioning of adults with cancer. Evidence supports the utilization of community-based, cancer-specific PT/OT throughout the cancer-care continuum. [Table: see text]

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penguatan kebersyukuran melalui intervensi menulis surat syukur terhadap peningkatan subjective well being siswa dalam interaksi sosial. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan desain penelitian eksperimen. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa SD, masing-masing adalah 10 siswa untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 10 siswa untuk kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen diberikan perlakuan menulis surat syukur. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) dan Positive Affect and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS) untuk mengukur subjective well-being, sementara Gratitude, Resentment Appréciation Test-Short Form (GRAT-Short Form) digunakan untuk mengukur kebersyukuran siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penguatan kebersyukuran melalui intervensi menulis surat syukur memberikan bukti dapat meningkatkan subjective well-being siswa khususnya dalam dua komponen utama subjective well-being (kepuasan hidup dan afek positif). Siswa yang mendapatkan intervensi menulis surat syukur menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada tingkat subjective well-being daripada siswa yang tidak menulis surat syukur.

The Purpose of this study was to analyze the diffrences in financial performance before and after right issue. Right issue a corporate action by the company by issuing new shares offered to existing shareholders. Sampling in this study using method purposive sampling. The samples in this research are 33 companies that conduct period 2011 – 2015. The financial performance in will be analysis through the five financial ratios namely CR, DER, TAT, ROA, and PER. This research data analysis technique using paired sample t test and Wilcoxon signed ranks test. The results showed that significant diffrences in TAT ratio before and after the right issue. While the research for the ratios of CR, DER, ROA, and PER showed no significant difference before and after right issue. These result indicate that the company’s financial performance two years after the right issue is more efficient in utilizing company’s assets in order to increase sales.

With the aim of promoting biological, social and psychological well-being, a multi-institutional and multidisciplinary action-research process was developed for the regeneration of a large residential complex in Rome, Italy. A methodology with a community-based approach was adopted in a context where spatial segregation is intertwined with health and social inequalities. Methods: Through qualitative-quantitative analysis involving the active participation of the local population and institutions in every stage, an integrated survey model was developed in order to create proper communication between the needs of the population and sustainable solutions. Results: the implemented process allowed for clear planning of actions and interventions that could be economically sustainable through the structuring and development of a local network. Conclusions: the process involving the participation of the population in the analysis of their own problems and difficulties, as well as in the development of possible interventions and actions to be proposed, appears to be the only adequate approach that allows for the definition of mutual objectives based on the real needs of the end users.

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran pelatihan strategi ‘SMART’ dalam meningkatkan Self-regulated learning (SRl) pada siswa SMP yang memiliki nilai di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Self-regulated learning (SRL) adalah suatu proses di mana seorang peserta didik mengaktifkan pikirannya (cognition), perasaannya (affect), dan perilaku (behavior) secara sistematis yang berorientasi pada pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran (Zimmerman & Schunk, 2001). SMART (Specific, Measurable, Action, Realistic, dan Time) merupakan strategi dalam pembentukan SRl. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 orang yang terdiri dari 6 laki-laki dan 4 perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif action research. Penelitian ini terdiri dua siklus, pada masing-masing siklus dilakukan pengukuran untuk mengevaluasi hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian pada siklus pertama dengan uji beda paired sample t-test menunjukkan tidak adanya perubahan regulasi diri yang signifikan pada partisipan (t = 1.476, p > .05). Pada siklus kedua juga menunjukkan tidak adanya perubahan skor SRL secara signifikan pada post-test 1 dan post-test 2 (t = 0.152, p > .05).

Youth participatory action research (YPAR) emphasizes positive youth development by engaging young people as co-researchers and change agents on complex issues to produce solutions that are relevant to youth. YPAR has primarily been used in classroom and youth organization settings, which means there are very few examples of its usage in other community-based settings or as a health intervention approach. Additionally, there is a need for further study of YPAR implementation processes and the effect on youth development and well-being outcomes. In this article, we highlight the innovative use of YPAR as a community-based health intervention through two case studies in which the adolescent health issues of physical activity and suicide were addressed. We describe the design of each YPAR health intervention and the studies that were conducted to link participatory research processes to youth development and health outcomes. Using the lessons learned from these YPAR interventions, we propose best practices for the design, implementation, and evaluation of YPAR as a health intervention strategy in a community setting.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the use of modules in thematic learning on the learning outcomes in SD Negeri 1 Jimbung. This is quantitative research. Data collection techniques use tests, both pretest and posttest. Data analysis using paired test of t-test and gain test. The result of paired sample t-test to the value of pretest and posttest obtained sig value equal to 0.000 which is smaller than 5% significance level, that is 0.000 <0.05 so there is difference, that result of posttest value higher than at result of pretest value. The difference in student learning outcomes can be seen from the gain test which has an average of 0.407, including the category of "moderate increase". So it can be concluded that the use of the module affects the improvement of learning outcomes of thematic learning of students in grade IV in SD Negeri 1 Jimbung.

<p class="JurnalASSETSABSTRAK">ABSTRACT</p><p>This study aims to improve student competence by integrating SAP in the SIA course in the industrial revolution 4.0. This research is a classroom action research. Data analysis methods used are quantitative and qualitative. Qualitative analysis is done by identifying the weaknesses and strengths of the application of actions and analyzing critical points. Quantitative analysis was performed by paired sample t-test to strengthen the results of the study. The results showed that there was an increase in student competence from moderate to high in cycle 1. This result was also supported by the results of paired sample t-tests which showed that there was a difference in student competence before and after the integration of SAP in SIA courses.</p><p class="JurnalASSETSABSTRAK"><em>ABSTRAK</em><em></em></p><p><em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dengan mengintegrasikan SAP dalam MK SIA dalam menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi kelemahan dan kelebihan penerapan tindakan serta menganalisis titik kritis. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan dengan paired sample t-test untuk memperkuat hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa dari sedang ke tinggi pada siklus 1. Hasil ini juga didukung oleh hasil paired sample t-test  yang menunjukan terdapat perbedaan kompetensi mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah tindakan yaitu diintegrasikannya SAP dalam mata kuliah SIA.</em></p>

<span lang="EN-US">This article has a focus on describing the effectiveness of the training and assistance in preparing class action research proposals for science teachers in Hulu Sungai Tengah </span><span>Regency</span><span lang="EN-US">. This training activity took place at SMPN 10 Barabai, which was attended by 36 science / science teachers in Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency. The effectiveness of training and mentoring can be seen from the achievements of teachers as seen from the pretest and posttest. The results of the pretest and posttest were tested whether there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest values using the paired sample t-test. If the paired sample t-test results indicate significant differences between the pretest and posttest values, then proceed with the N-gain test. The effectiveness of the conclusion is the training and assistance in preparing class action research proposals for science teachers in the Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency in the high category. Thus</span><span>,</span><span lang="EN-US"> it is recommended that further training be carried out related to writing class action research reports. This kind of training is also needed for teachers in other regions, as well as in other subjects.</span>
