This study examines the relationship of undergraduate research (UGR) participation on senior students’ reported engagement, perceived gains, satisfaction with their educational experience and retention, and graduation status compared to peers that have not participated in UGR. Data were drawn from 1,472 senior students at a comprehensive, teaching-oriented public college, and collected from administration of the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) from 2015 to 2019, along with institutional data. This examination uniquely investigates outcomes of UGR participation besides persistence and graduation (which are already well documented) and leverages the lens of senior students in particular. In addition, this study contributes to the literature on UGR at teaching-oriented colleges, which has been sparse most likely because there are many more opportunities for UGR at research institutions. In line with several conceptual frameworks of student engagement, data analysis revealed that relative to their peers who have not participated in UGR, UGR-participating students have higher levels of engagement, perceived gains, and overall satisfaction. UGR-participating students also continued enrollment and/or graduated at a higher rate after reaching their senior status compared to non-participating peers. The implications for teaching-oriented colleges, as well as suggestions for how these institutions can enhance their undergraduate research programming, are discussed.

Kata Kunci: audit tenure, pengalaman , skeptisisme auditor, kualitas audit  ABSTRACTThe importance of financial statements for many, causing the report to be presented in a relevant and reliable manner. The object of research is the residents of Pasuruan City and the sample in this study is the Prospective Consumer of Grand Cempaka Housing. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of the analysis show that Products, Prices, Places and Promotions simultaneously have a significant effect on the Decision of Purchasing Prospective Consumers of Grand Cempaka Housing. The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) The relationship of leg muscle strength to the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. 2) Relationship between ankle coordination and the result of shooting the ball silently towards the goal. 3) The relationship between leg muscle strength and ankle coordination towards the results of shooting the ball silently towards the goal. The method used in this study is a method of correlation with test and measurement techniques. Data analysis was carried out by a computerized system with simple or multiple regression analysis. The population in this study were students who participated in extra-curricular football at Pontianak's N 8 High School, totaling 22 people. In this study, there was no sampling technique because it took all the population who participated in 22 extra-curricular activities. The results of the analysis of the data obtained indicate that: 1) There is a relationship between leg muscle strength to the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. 2) There is a coordination relationship between the ankles and the result of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. 3) There is a relationship between leg muscle strength and ankle coordination towards the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. The amount of donation given by leg muscle strength to the results of silent ball shooting towards the goal was 52.1%, while the coordination contribution of the ankle to the results of silent ball shooting towards the goal was 25.3%. While the magnitude of the contribution given by the two variables, namely leg muscle strength and ankle coordination was 59% of the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. It is recommended that in addition to practicing silent ball shooting techniques towards the goal, leg muscle strength should be taken into consideration for the trainer in giving a portion of training.

The purpose of this research study was to help inform the researcher’s future practice as a teacher on the influence of technology on young learners. The question of inquiry pertained to define how technology has initiated and increased student engagement within their learning, and through this, how technology has specifically influenced the creation of the 21st century learner. By beginning the inquiry through a literature review on the theme of technology and student engagement, the researcher was able to gain an understanding that technology is the motivator for children in developed, and even in undeveloped countries. In order to assess the relationship of technology and student engagement in learning, along with how digital devices influence the creation of 21st century learners, the researcher surveyed a variety of teacher candidates and university students to draw conclusions. From the research findings of the study, the researcher concluded that students were attracted to technology as it is a tool that is convenient in organizing information, and is efficient in making data easier to allocate. Therefore, the skills that technology imparted upon 21st century learners from the findings were allowing students to become self-directed learners, access and, evaluate information through critical thinking and solving data to become more engaged thinkers, and influencing leadership and collaboration skills.

The authors present student self-reported learning gains from two undergraduate courses that embed research within study abroad courses. Students in one course worked in small groups on original research projects; students in the second course collectively contributed to one ongoing, professional research project. Differences in student learning between courses raise questions about the relationship of course structures to high-impact practices.
