Since pneumatic systems are widely used in various branches of industry, the need to find ways to reduce energy consumption in these systems has become very pressing. The reduction in energy consumption in these systems is reflected in the reduction of compressed air consumption. The paper presents a cylinder control system with a piston rod on one side, in which the reduction in energy consumption is ensured by using different levels of supply pressure in the working and the return stroke, and by holding the cylinder piston rod in its final positions with a clamping cartridge. Clamping and holding the piston rod in its final position further affects the reduction in energy consumption. Experimental data show that the application of the proposed control leads to a decrease in compressed air consumption of 25.54% to 32.97%, depending on the compressed air pressure used in the return stroke. The cost-effectiveness of the proposed cylinder control with different levels of compressed air pressure and holding the final position by clamping cartridge is presented.

The aim of this work is to reduce the cost of the heat pump heating system by using a solar collector in the primary circuit of the heat pump. It is known that the price of material and installation of the primary circuit collector is 30% of the total cost of the heat pump heating system. The use of a solar collector in the primary circuit of a heat pump eliminates the need for drilling or underground installation of a low-potential thermal energy collector. The rejection of the classic types of collectors: horizontal collectors and vertical probes, also has a positive environmental effect on the soil. The combined use of a solar collector and a heat pump will add variability in the layout of the heat pump heating system. The article presents the results of a theoretical study of the feasibility of operating solar collectors at the latitudes of the Republic of Tatarstan. A comparative analysis of various types of heat pump and solar collector is given, based on which the main components of the combined system were selected. The work includes calculations of the required power and surface area of the absorption of the solar collector. The results of a comparative analysis of the performance of the solar collector are presented, depending on the angle of incidence of sunlight and the average level of insolation. As a result of the work, it was determined that the use of a solar collector in the primary circuit of a heat pump will be twice cheaper compared to horizontal collectors and 4 times compared to vertical probes.

Abstract The object of the research is the Russian border areas of North Asia, which include Tyumen Oblast, Omsk Oblast, Altai Krai, Tyva Republic, The Republic of Buryatia, Zabaikalsky Krai and Amurskaya Oblast. This research aims to conduct a comparative analysis of agricultural development in these territories over a long period from the early 1970s to the present. The authors have analysed the dynamics of the gross regional product of the considered regions and its structure, the share of agriculture in GRP of the regions, the volume of agricultural production (in US dollars), cultivated areas and a number of indicators of agricultural development efficiency. Conclusions are made about the low role of the considered regions in the formation of the RF GDP, as well as about the insignificant share of agricultural products in GRP of the regions and the decreased efficiency of agricultural land use in comparison with the average indicators for the Russian Federation.

Hard alloys are indispensable material for many branches of modern industry. However, even with the base composition (WC-Co) they are quite expensive due to the limited natural resources of cobalt and the complexity of their production from the minerals. Therefore, the collection and recycling of hard alloys waste have not only scientific but practical importance, taking into account that the cost of production of 1 ton of alloy from recovered waste comes to 20% cheaper than in the core technology. Existing methods of hard alloys waste treatment have several disadvantages, the main of which are high power consumption and big load on the environment. As a result of this research a high-performance, low-energy consumption, eco-friendly way for recycling of hard alloys waste has been proposed. According to this technology, in a first step the WC powder, and the solution containing cobalt salts were obtained by autoclaving at 230 °C in a mixture of HCl-H3PO4-HNO3 acids, and followed then metal cobalt  recovery from hydrothermal solution at temperatures of 110 – 160 °C.

The relevance of the work is determined by the fact that the right to life belongs to the basic constitutional human rights, therefore, its observance and protection is the duty of the state. Despite its undeniable importance, today the right to life anywhere in the world is not really ensured in sufficient quantities. The constitutional consolidation of the right to life raises a number of issues related to the concept, nature, legislative and practical implementation of this right. It should be noted that various aspects of the human right to life were considered in the scientific works of G.B. Romanovsky, O.G. Selikhova, T.M. Fomichenko, A.B. Borisova, V.A. Ershov and other Russian authors. The aim of the study is to study and comparative analysis of the legal content of the constitutional norm that defines the right to life, to comprehend and identify possible problems of the implementation of this right. To achieve this goal, this article discusses relevant issues of ensuring the right to life, proclaimed by Article 20 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and Article 27 of the Constitution of Azerbaijan Republic. The results of a comparative analysis of these constitutional norms and the relevant norms of industry law allow us to determine, that there is no contradiction between Article 20 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the norms of the criminal legislation of the Russian Federation, which imply the death penalty as an exceptional measure of punishment, because a moratorium has been imposed on the death penalty in the Russian Federation since April 16, 1997. However, after the abolition of the death penalty in the criminal legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1998, there was a discrepancy between parts II and III of Article 27 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the criminal legislation of Azerbaijan Republic that requires the introduction of the necessary changes in the content of the analyzed constitutional norm. The value of the work is determined by the fact that the introduction of appropriate changes will contribute to the further improvement of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the effective implementation of the right to life of everyone.

By transforming patterns of travel and work around the world, the COVID-19 pandemic is accelerating the transition to renewable energy and the decline of fossil fuels. Lockdowns brought car commuting and plane travel to a near halt, and the mass experiment in which white-collar employees have been working from home may permanently reduce energy consumption for business travel. Renewable energy and electric vehicles were already gaining market share before the pandemic. Under pressure from investors, major energy companies have started writing off fossil fuel reserves as stranded assets that are no longer worth the cost of extracting. These shifts may indicate that “peak oil demand” has arrived earlier than expected.

AbstractThe paper analyses the role of control and monitoring of electro-energetic equipment in order to reduce operational costs, increase profits and reduce carbon emissions. The role of SCADA and EcoStruxure Power systems is presented and analysed taking into account the energy consumption and its savings. The paper presents practical and modern solutions to reduce energy consumption by up to 53%, mass by up to 47% and increase the life of the equipment by adjusting the electrical parameters. The Integrated Navigation System has allowed an automatic control and an efficient management. For ships, the implementation of an energy efficiency design index and new technologies was required for the GREEN SHIP project.

Subject. To achieve a high level of economic security is a key priority of national development. Employment reveals one of the most important aspects of social development of the individual that is associated with his or her needs satisfaction in the sphere of employment and is boon to economic security. Objectives. The purpose of the study is to show the impact of unemployment on economic security in employment. Methods. I apply such scientific methods as dialectical, historical and logical unity, structural and functional analysis, traditional techniques of economic analysis and synthesis. The methods of multivariate statistical and comparative analysis serve as a methodological basis of the study. To determine the indicator of unemployment, I use the band theory. Results. I underpin the growing role of employment in ensuring economic security. The paper presents a comprehensive assessment of the unemployment status and a comparative analysis of the indicator in the Republic of Mordovia, the Volga Federal District, and the Russian Federation as a whole. I identify trends in the average duration of unemployment, show the distribution of unemployed by level of education and age groups. Conclusions. The average annual unemployment rate in the Republic of Mordovia is lower than in Russia and the Volga Federal District. The findings may be useful for public authorities to substantiate their employment policy at both macro- and meso-levels, for designing programs and strategies for socio-economic development of regions and the social security doctrine, as well as in practical activities of employment services.
