Morality is related to differentiation between ‘good (may be right)’ or ‘bad (may be wrong)’. It usually includes a range of rules that individuals what they should do or should not do in their society. Morality is a kind of specific cognitive concept that involves conscious judgment and making decision on issues related to rightfulness, injustice, right-wrong, good-bad and behave in parallel with these decisions and judgments. Emotional intelligence has a moral dimension as well. Goleman clarifies concept of emotional intelligence, and he underlines emotions’ role on human behaviour and their close relationships. According to Goleman, the emotional intelligence is the ability to identify, assess, and control the emotions of one self, others, and groups. The study group consists of eight undergraduate students were studying at Eskisehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Education in the academic year 2013-2014. Students were selected from 183 university students among their results from Emotional Intelligence Scale (Ergin, Ismen and Ozabacı, 1999) and Determination of Value Test (Rest, 1979) was applied with 183 undergraduate students with the method of standards sampling with the help of the minimum and maximum scores was selected from individuals (Yildirim and Simsek, 2008). The data were collected by a semi-structured interview form that was prepared by the researchers. The development of form was created for the purpose of considering the questions of the study. Data were collected by interview and qualitative data collection techniques. During the interviews, audio recording was used with the data were analysed the collected recordings with the descriptive analysis. After the categorization of data, the Cappa coefficient was calculated for the consistency between categories. The majority of the participants explained themselves as fair, honest, and emotional. ÖzetAhlak, bireyin doğru ile yanlışı ayırt edebilmesini sağlayan ilkeler ve değerler bütünüdür. Ahlak gelişimi toplumun tüm değerlerine kayıtsız şartsız edilgin bir uyma değil, topluma etkin bir uyum sağlamak için değerler sistemi oluşturma süreci olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Duygusal zekâ, kişinin kendisinin ve başkalarının hislerini tanıma, kendisini motive etme, içindeki ve ilişkilerindeki duyguları yönetme yetisidir. Ona göre duygusal zekâ ahlaki boyutun bir parçasıdır. Araştırma, probleme uygun olarak algıların gerçekçi ve bütüncül bir biçimde, derinlemesine ortaya konmasını hedefleyen nitel araştırma modeli ve olgu bilim deseni ile desenlenmiştir. Araştırmaya Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’nde 2013-2014 öğretim yılında öğrenim gören 8 lisans öğrencisi katılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrenciler, daha önceden kendilerine Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği (Ergin, İşmen ve Özabacı, 1999) ve Değerlerin Belirlenmesi Testi (Rest, 1979) uygulanmış olan 183 lisans öğrencisi arasından aykırı durum örneklemesi (Yıldırım ve Şimşek, 2008) yardımıyla en az ve en çok puan alan bireyler arasından seçilmiştir. Veriler nitel veri toplama tekniklerinden görüşme tekniği ile araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin toplanması aşamasında elde edilen ses kayıtlarının dökümü yapılmış ve dökümler üzerinden betimsel analiz yapılmıştır. Kodlamaların ardından, kodlayıcılar arası tutarlılığın belirlenebilmesi için Kappa katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. Çalışma grubundaki bireylerle yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda bireylerin çoğu kendisini adaletli, dürüst, duygusal olarak tanımladığı bulunmuştur.

This study aims to state the opinions and recommendations of academics who train special education teachers for integration applications. The study is patterned as a descriptive case study, and the participants consist of 28 faculty members from 18 universities who work in the special education undergraduate program and whose professional experience ranges from 5 to 45 years. The study data were collected through face-to-face interviews with participants using the semi-structured interview technique. The obtained data were analyzed through descriptive analysis. The findings show that most academics think that integration is not being applied today and that there is a lack of necessary infrastructure for its application. Faculty members participating in the study stated that teachers do not receive adequate training about integration, teachers should undergo serious in-service training, and courses related to special education should be introduced in all departments of the faculty of education. For successful integration, it is necessary to make physical and educational arrangements, provide support education services, train teachers to have an integration perspective and improve their attitudes. In conclusion, integration is an application that can only be realized with the joint effort of all parties through multidimensional discussions of its contents.

The aim of this study is to identify the perspectives of parents on the "Social Studies" course. The case study design,one of the qualitative research methods, was used in accordance with the nature of the study. Data related to the studywere obtained through a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers. The data of the study wereobtained from the parents of students attending 5th, 6th and 7th grade of a state secondary school located in theIstanbul-Sultanbeyli district in the spring semester of 2017 and 2018 academic year. The data obtained were analyzedby content analysis. According to the data obtained from the research, the following results were obtained: Themajority of the parents apparently linked the concept of Social Studies to the concepts of History, Geography,Citizenship and Socialization. Parents thought that the subjects related to History, Geography, Citizenship Rights,Culture, Democracy, Human Rights and the life of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk were taught in the Social Studies course.Nevertheless, it was seen that the parents wished to see the concepts such as Love of Motherland, Nation, Communityand National Flag, Etiquette, Cultural Values, Freedom, Democracy, Equality to be taught in the Social Studies courses.While the parents mostly compared the Social Studies courses with such organs as the Brain, Kidney, Heart, Eye,Stomach and Intestine, they considered it as appropriate to place this course in the last places in terms of importance. Inaddition, it was found that majority of the parents did not want their children to become social studies teachers in thefuture.

<span>The aim of this study was to design a learning environment supported by a problem-based learning method and to obtain students' views on this process. In this context, the Database Management Systems course was taught according to the problem-based learning method. The participants of the study consisted of 25 students from the 2nd-grade students studying in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology in the spring semester of 2015 at Uludag University Faculty of Education. The research design of this study was the case study, which is one of the qualitative research designs. Data were obtained from the students via a semi-structured interview form. Descriptive analysis was applied to the data obtained from the interview. According to the results obtained from the analysis of the data, the students were generally satisfied with the problem-based learning practices. In addition, the students emphasized that it is important to have a sufficient level of necessary knowledge of the implementation of problem-based learning to design the classroom environment.</span>

Emotional intelligence is an important resource for overcoming professional stress in members of socionomic professions. The research objective is to determine the role of its components in the development of emotional burnout. A natural experiment was conducted, which determined the manifestations of emotional burnout of 56 university teachers at the end of the academic year. The author used the questionnaire. Two experimental groups were identified in the general sample: teachers with burnout and those resistant to burnout (16 and 30 people, respectively). At the end of the academic year, signs of burnout were detected in one-third of university teachers. The leading symptoms are emotional exhaustion and depersonalisation, with no reduction in professional achievement. The dynamics of emotional life during the annual professional cycle are shown. The integrated indicator of emotional intelligence (EI) remains at the same level, but there are structural changes in the components of intrapersonal intelligence. At the end of the year, teachers' attention to their emotional states, work roles, and communication increase significantly. At the same time, there is a decrease in the ability to manage their own emotions. Resistance to burnout is accompanied by a high ability to realise and control their own emotions with a relatively vague focus on the emotional states of others. It was concluded that individual components of EI (intrapersonal and interpersonal, understanding and management) have different effects on burnout symptoms.

This research was carried out to determine student views on distance education through art and design courses. The study group of the research consists of 45 undergraduate students studying at different faculties of İzmir Katip Çelebi University in Turkey during the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. The focus of the article is to determine the effect of distance education, which is carried out suddenly, on students' perceptions of art lesson. A semi-structured interview technique was performed in this study which covered qualitative data collection techniques. Findings regarding the positive and negative aspects of distance education were obtained from students in the context of their impact on art classes. The results obtained in the research are as follows: The students who take art lessons via distance education are required distance education, also they do not experience any technical difficulties due to the availability of technology, they lost of motivation, they do not meet their socialization needs, and especially some techniques that require practice in art lessons.

RESUMOObjetivo: avaliar a formação dos discentes do último período do curso de Enfermagem quanto à avaliação da dor. Método: trata-se de um estudo quantitativo, descritivo, transversal, desenvolvido em uma instituição de ensino privada. Compôs-se a amostra por 169 graduandos do décimo período. Utilizou-se um formulário com questões objetivas. Realizou-se a análise descritiva univariada a partir de tabelas. Resultados: constata-se que a dor foi ensinada pelos docentes como o quinto sinal vital para 52,1% dos participantes; 76% afirmaram que, no estágio curricular obrigatório, não observaram o registro da dor nos prontuários; 68% não foram estimulados a utilizar as escalas para a avaliação da dor e 62,1% nunca utilizaram as escalas para a avaliação da dor. Entende-se que muitos acadêmicos de Enfermagem, no último semestre da graduação, não se sentem aptos a realizar a avaliação da dor. Conclusão: encontram-se falhas no conhecimento dos graduandos de Enfermagem no tocante à avaliação da dor, e é preocupante a formação desses enfermeiros, considerando que a avaliação da dor e o seu controle são princípios básicos para uma assistência de qualidade. Many Nursing undergraduate students, in the last semester, do not feel able to carry out pain assessment. Conclusion: Nursing graduates’ knowledge present gaps in relation to pain assessment, whose training is worrying, considering pain assessment and control as basic principles for quality assistance. Se entiende que muchos universitarios de enfermería, en el último semestre de graduación, no se sienten capaces de llevar a cabo la evaluación del dolor. Conclusión: existen lagunas en el conocimiento de los graduados de enfermería en relación con la evaluación del dolor, y es preocupante la formación de estos enfermeros, mientras que la evaluación del dolor y su control son los principios básicos para la calidad de la asistencia. The aim of this study is to reveal the effect of the modeling strategy on inferential thinking and acquiring the art of performing attacking skills in handball, and the researcher used the experimental method and used the design with two groups of experimental and control groups with pre and post test for its suitability to the objectives of the research and its problem. The research community consisted of (52) students of the second stage in the Department of Physical Education / Faculty of Education / University of Zakho for the academic year 2019-2020. As for the research data collection tools, it included the inferential thinking scale (Mufti, 1997) which the researcher codified on the local environment and found the scientific basis for it. In addition to tests of art of performing attacking skills in the game of handball. The researcher used the SPSS statistical method to process the data and the researcher reached to the following conclusions. The modeling strategy and the traditional method contributed to the development of inductive thinking and raising the level of art of performing attacking skills in the handball game of the experimental and control groups. The experimental group that used the modeling strategy excelled the control group with positive results in developing inferential thinking and raising the level of the art of performing attacking skills in the game of handball.

The aim of the present study was to determine the views of pre-service teachers on artificial intelligence. In the present qualitative study, conducted with the phenomenology design, that data were collected from 94 pre-service teachers attending different departments at Manisa Celal Bayar University, Faculty of Education during the 2018-2019 academic year fall semester in Turkey. Data were collected with semi-structured interview form and written interview form, developed by the author. Collected data were analyzed by using content analysis method and classified under themes. Analyses demonstrated that pre-service teachers assigned different meanings to artificial intelligence, felt basically negative emotions for artificial intelligence, and did not want to live in a world ruled by artificial intelligence. Furthermore, it was found that pre-service teachers considered that artificial intelligence could have both several benefits and risks, and it might have both positive and negative effects on education. Based on the study findings, various recommendations were presented for future studies and implementations on the topic.

SummaryFamily data from schizophrenic and control probands were analyzed using a descriptive analysis and multiple threshold models to determine whether a given group of diagnoses made in accordance with ICD–9 was aetiologically related to schizophrenia. The proportion of relatives receiving any psychiatric diagnosis, other than schizophrenia and affective disorder, was essentially the same between the two study groups. Furthermore, the data did not fit the multiple threshold model tested. Thus, the hypothesis that schizophrenia and a spectrum of disorders defined according to ICD–9 have a common familial aetiology was not accepted.

With this research, it is aimed to determine the opinions of secondary school music teachers about the use of EBA. In line with the purpose of the research, the opinions of secondary school music teachers were taken by using the scanning model. The study group of the research consists of 22 music teachers working in ġanlıurfa in the 2021-2021 academic year. In order to collect data in the research, a semi-structured interview form was applied to the teachers. The data obtained as a result of the application were processed and descriptive analysis was made. As a result of the research, teachers related to EBA; They frequently use 'Live Lessons', 'Lessons' and 'My Page' modules, EBA contributes to them and the students, they do not have access problems to EBA, but students have access problems, they prefer 'Mobile Application' when using EBA, ' It was concluded that they performed the 'Live Lesson' module over the 'Zoom' application and did not record it, that they did not find the music lesson contents in the EBA sufficient, that they produced content and made the contents produced outside of the EBA accessible to the students.
