Emotional intelligence is an important resource for overcoming professional stress in members of socionomic professions. The research objective is to determine the role of its components in the development of emotional burnout. A natural experiment was conducted, which determined the manifestations of emotional burnout of 56 university teachers at the end of the academic year. The author used the questionnaire. Two experimental groups were identified in the general sample: teachers with burnout and those resistant to burnout (16 and 30 people, respectively). At the end of the academic year, signs of burnout were detected in one-third of university teachers. The leading symptoms are emotional exhaustion and depersonalisation, with no reduction in professional achievement. The dynamics of emotional life during the annual professional cycle are shown. The integrated indicator of emotional intelligence (EI) remains at the same level, but there are structural changes in the components of intrapersonal intelligence. At the end of the year, teachers' attention to their emotional states, work roles, and communication increase significantly. At the same time, there is a decrease in the ability to manage their own emotions. Resistance to burnout is accompanied by a high ability to realise and control their own emotions with a relatively vague focus on the emotional states of others. It was concluded that individual components of EI (intrapersonal and interpersonal, understanding and management) have different effects on burnout symptoms.

Health is considered a sense of wellbeing, inner happiness, and enthusiasm for living and harmony within self and with others, absence of disorders, conflicts, worries and anxieties. Emotional reactions and experiences affect both physical as well as psychological health. Negative emotional states are associated with unhealthy patterns of physiological functioning, whereas positive emotional states are associated with healthier patterns of responding in both cardiovascular activity and immune system. Taylor (2001) argues that emotionally intelligent people can cope better with life’s challenges and control their emotions more effectively, both of which contribute to good psychological and physical health. So the present study was designed to see the relationship between emotional intelligence and mental health and to see the role of emotional intelligence in mental health. Multidimensional Measure of Emotional Intelligence (MMEI by C. R. Darolia, 2003) and General Health Questionnaire (GHQ by Goldberg & Williams, 1988) was used. Sample of the study comprised of 200 chronic patients. Data obtained was analyzed by using co-relation and regression analysis. Results revealed emotional intelligence is positively correlated with mental health and emerged as predictor of mental health.

The Russian Federation is in the process of making major structural changes to its railway and electricity sectors. Both sectors will be at least partly vertically disintegrated, with the aim of creating competition in the “upstream” sector while maintaining state ownership and control of the monopoly “grid”. This paper examines the details of reform and restructuring in the context of the international experience with reform and restructuring in these two sectors, and considers the role of the Ministry for Antimonopoly Policy in reform, both in the past as an “advocate for competition” within the government, and in the future as the guarantor of non-discriminatory access to the grids by non-integrated upstream producers.

Morality is related to differentiation between ‘good (may be right)’ or ‘bad (may be wrong)’. It usually includes a range of rules that individuals what they should do or should not do in their society. Morality is a kind of specific cognitive concept that involves conscious judgment and making decision on issues related to rightfulness, injustice, right-wrong, good-bad and behave in parallel with these decisions and judgments. Emotional intelligence has a moral dimension as well. Goleman clarifies concept of emotional intelligence, and he underlines emotions’ role on human behaviour and their close relationships. According to Goleman, the emotional intelligence is the ability to identify, assess, and control the emotions of one self, others, and groups. The study group consists of eight undergraduate students were studying at Eskisehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Education in the academic year 2013-2014. Students were selected from 183 university students among their results from Emotional Intelligence Scale (Ergin, Ismen and Ozabacı, 1999) and Determination of Value Test (Rest, 1979) was applied with 183 undergraduate students with the method of standards sampling with the help of the minimum and maximum scores was selected from individuals (Yildirim and Simsek, 2008). The data were collected by a semi-structured interview form that was prepared by the researchers. The development of form was created for the purpose of considering the questions of the study. Data were collected by interview and qualitative data collection techniques. During the interviews, audio recording was used with the data were analysed the collected recordings with the descriptive analysis. After the categorization of data, the Cappa coefficient was calculated for the consistency between categories. The majority of the participants explained themselves as fair, honest, and emotional. There are some stereotypical roles, characteristics, and traits associated with different genders. All genders are being linked with certain emotional states. In the context of the Pakistani scenario which is considered as a patriarchal society, the male gender is regarded as a dominant being and has certain traits like strength, confidence, decision making, and power connected with this gender. Conventionally, the female gender is considered to be very emotional, sensitive, lack confidence and decision making skills. The present study focuses on to find out the existing ground realities, if these gender connected traits have any kind of effect on their performance and effectiveness at workplaces. The proposed research purpose is to investigate the effect of gender on teacher's emotional intelligence at higher educational institutions of district Peshawar. The researcher selected three public universities of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa using cluster sampling technique and using stratified sampling technique SRMEI was administered proportionally to the selected university teachers (female= 59, male= 106) to assess their emotional intelligence. SRMEI comprises three subscales: emotional self-awareness, emotional self-regulation, and interpersonal relationship. Data was analyzed on SPSS version 20 software. The researcher applied a T-Test to investigate the effect of gender on the EI skills of teachers. The study discovered a fact that teachers' (female gender) mean score (M= 3.71, SD= .212) was significantly higher than that of male (M= 2.38, SD=.455) on a factor only i.e. interpersonal skills. While both gender groups display similar results on the remaining two facets of Emotional Intelligence (EI) was concerned.

A joint analysis of the concepts of "emotional intelligence" and "burnout" allows finding new ways to protect against the adverse effects of chronic stress. It is known that emotional competencies are determined by gender and gender, but this aspect needs to be clarified. A longitudinal study was conducted in a female sample (575 students and 96 teachers from different regions of Ukraine) to determine the dynamics of burnout in calm and stressful periods and trace the correlation of symptoms with emotional abilities. The structural components of emotional intelligence (reflection, self-regulation, empathy, expressiveness, and acceptance of one's own emotions) and manifestations of burnout were measured; three diagnostic sections were made at the beginning of the academic year, after the winter and spring examination sessions. Significant growth of all burnout indicators during the annual training cycle (MANOVA) was recorded. The effect of the accumulation of fatigue (exhaustion) was robust in teachers and graduate students. At the same time, after the session, students grew a sense of self-efficacy, compensating for the resources spent. Comparison of means in six subsamples of students in grades 1-5 and teachers (ANOVA) showed that structural changes in emotional competencies describe the adaptive potential of a certain age period. The developed empathy and self-regulation are the main signs of women's emotional maturity after graduation. The structure of correlations between burnout parameters and emotional competencies differed in different groups. The most significant contribution to preventing burnout in students is made by reflection and self-regulation, in teachers — by self-regulation, empathy, and acceptance of one's feelings. The negative correlation between emotional abilities and symptoms of burnout is exacerbated during times of stress. It is concluded that there are two mechanisms of the protective influence of emotional intelligence: direct, which prevents exhaustion by controlling and regulating negative emotions, and indirect, through a sense of self-efficacy resulting from the successful overcoming of professional challenges.

The relevance of emotions in teaching is now a widely studied aspect, although the way in which teachers can carry out, regulate and control their emotions is being discussed, the study proposes how emotional intelligence can be incorporated into teaching through the competences to achieve better teaching performance. The survey technique was used, collecting data from 244 university teachers through a questionnaire using simple random sampling. The data has been analyzed using partial least squares path modeling (PLS), approach of the SEM structural equation model with the SmartPLS 3.3.0 software, the findings revealed that the model has a significant impact on teaching performance, the determination coefficients were; teacher skills (r2 = 0.703) teacher attitude (r2 = 0.661), teacher knowledge (r2 = 0.648) and for teacher performance (r2 = 0.733). with a root mean square error of approximation (SRMR) of 0.056 that makes the confirmatory model relevant. Therefore, it was statistically demonstrated that emotional intelligence has a strong impact on teachers' competences, which in turn contributes to the professor performance.
