The present paper analyses the aspects of investigations of crime involving cryptocurrencies as a payment instrument. Ever since their emergence, cryptocurrencies have come to be actively used by criminals in all types of illegal activities, such as drug trafficking, money laundering, illegal arms trade, payments for criminal services and many other crimes. The paper aims to establish the methods of crime investigation to track data on cryptocurrency transactions and identify and show up the participants of illegal operations. The author shows that the development of computer and digital information technologies and the Internet has brought about the ever-increasing prevalence of cryptocurrencies in all social domains, including the shadow sector, i. e., the criminal world. Figures are provided illustrating the overall circulation of cryptocurrencies in the world and its illegal segment. Explaining the attractiveness of cryptocurrencies for criminal structures, the author points at its anonymity and inadequate regulation of various aspects in laws. An analysis is provided of the practice of countries where cryptocurrency circulation is not only permitted but regulated to a maximum possible extent. The impact of such regulation for the state of the shadow cryptocurrency market is shown. The research further concerns the potential for bringing international expertise to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Potential methods of crime investigation concerning shadow cryptocurrency transactions are outlined, helping to identify and show up the participants involved. Forecasts are provided as to the development of modern forensics and the emergence of new forensic methods helping to uncover cryptocurrency-related crime; proposals are drawn for amending criminal and criminal procedure laws to facilitate investigations in the new context.

Introduction: the paper deals with the study of the intellectual aspect of law, its democratic nature in the context of the introduction of innovative technologies in electronic law. The digital transformation of society is based on the “breakthrough” innovations in the economic, political, social and legal spheres. The purpose of the study is to show the influence of mental processes on the origin and change of law. The objectives of the research are to identify the true nature of law, its purpose, the need to create electronic law, to show the opportunities and risks of the digitalization of law, the impact of information technologies on the disclosure of its potential. Methods: a pluralistic methodology that combines universal, general, and specific scientific research methods. The main methods were the dialectical and materialistic, synergetic and transdisciplinary ones. Results: being reasonable in its nature and purpose law is a combination of mathematically precise forms (sources) of law and natural human rights and freedoms, as a condition for the implementation of genuine democracy in a state-civil society. The legal world is a special, abstract, metaphysical reality artificially created by the conventional, creative genius of man. The technology expands the possibilities of the human mind, creating both challenges and risks. Many modern social processes in the conditions of synergetic, nonlinear development, the growth of entropy, disorder, risk, and a massive increase in digital information (BigData), can only be managed and predicted with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). Conclusions: the language of the human brain, neurophysiology, and digital society must be translated into the language of electronic law. To do this, it is necessary to adapt the legal engineering, to digitize the forms (sources) of law, to use the information and communication technologies, the educational platforms in the training of lawyers, to develop the special legislation on the electronic state, electronic government, AI and robotics. The metatheory of digital law, its legislative consolidation, and the mechanism of the law enforcement implementation (including the automatic one) will help to solve this problem.

In modern conditions of overall informatization, the majorities of children of older pre-school age actively use gadgets and have access to the Internet. However, just one-fourth of parents demonstrate concerns about digital security. That is why the issues associated with cybersecurity training in preschool education, legislative regulation in ensuring the security and development of children in a digital environment are relevant for present-day pre-school education. The study was based on the activities carried out by teachers and psychologists of the methodology association of the Leninsky district of Yekaterinburg. The methods used in the study involved observations, the analysis of information obtained through counseling and psychological checks, interviews, surveys of instructors and specialists dealing with parents in kindergarten. As a result, we revealed the problems with digital competence among all the participants of the process of upbringing and education and defined the impact of parents on the formation of digital literacy. Of special interest is a new position when the modern parent is given a “relief” from a child with the help of gadgets, which calls for family psychological support on pre-schoolers’ secure use of digital technologies. The main task of working with parents is to shape perceptions of the problems associated with free contacts of the child with information technologies and the necessity to control digital information received by the child.

These aspects manifest themselves to a greater extent in the search for priority of fiscal component and underestimation of regulatory policy of state tax administration. In this regard, it is important to timely identify tax and levy arrears in the implementation of cameral tax measures. The large-scale changes in the life of modern society caused by digitalization, as well as numerous studies of various manifestations and aspects of this process, give rise to the need to develop a concept of a digital society. The attempt to solve this research problem, implemented in the article, represents one of its possible models. In the proposed model, the digital society is considered as the next stage of post-industrial development and an element of modern global technogenic civilization. The implementation of the plan is based on the institutionalization of digital public relations. The basis of the process is the construct “human – knowledge – communication networks – computer technology”. Its elements in the course of interaction give rise to digital formal and informal institutions in the economy, politics, culture, and social life; form a new structural element of society – the digital information sphere; develop into a whole as a digital society. Digital institutions and the digital sphere, acting as mechanisms for the emergence of society, rely on their own type of activity, have a new type of personality as a subject – “information person”.The analysis, undertaken within the framework of the neo-institutional approach, the features of the socialization of e-Homo Sapiens are revealed, based on the need for presence and activity in the information space, taking into account the impact of modern information technologies, which ultimately contribute to the inconsistency of the emerging typological properties. The decisive role of the human factor in the emergence of the digital society as a knowledge society made it necessary to rely on the principle of social determinism for the entire research structure. This technique allowed us to substantiate the conclusion about the human creator, the subject of social existence as the main characteristic and source of development of the digital society. Any changes in the indicators of subjectivity will serve as factors for the appearance of components of a future civilization based on this society, the contours of which are not transparent today.

The article explores the importance of justice in the life of society in conjunction with the rapidly developing processes of judicial digitalization. The data of domestic sociological studies are presented. It is reflecting the expectations of the Russian society from justice, which determine what requirements citizens make to judges. The article analyzes the ongoing digital reform in the field of justice, its program aims and objectives, the results achieved, as well as the impact of these results on the perception of the judicial system by society, and trust to it. It is stated that, a significant part of the stated program aims in the field of digitalization as a result of the implementation of the relevant federal programs has been achieved. However, despite some interconnection with society through the introduction of digital technology, the level of trust to the judiciary remains extremely low. The declared and achieved aims of the development of information technologies are applied. They have pragmatic nature, associated primarily with the acceleration of legal proceedings and rationalization of the doing of the judiciary and those involved in the orbit of their activities. However, the expectations of society are in the plane of comprehension, justice, adequacy of actions and decisions of judges, and are, rather, moral and professional nature, not limited to universally implemented information technologies. In this regard, it was concluded that the stated and achieved goals of the digitalization of the judicial sphere do not coincide with the expectations set by society for its functioning.
