Being considered equal to normal people in general is a dream that people with disa-bilities really want to realize. The public's view of disability has constructed the stig-ma that people with disabilities are unable to move like normal people specifically relating to physical exercise.. The difficulty of dismantling the stigma that is already inherent and generalizing persons with disabilities with physical disability or mal-function becomes a particular challenge faced by persons with disabilities as a mi-nority group. This paper uses the constructivist paradigm as a point of view in look-ing at understanding the complexity of social construction. The phenomenological method used in this study will explore the perspective of individuals with disabilities through self-concept "me" as an object that is the result of community construction, try to be replaced with "I" as a subject that is reconstructed through the help of so-cial media with self-actualization amid physical limitations which is owned. This study found that messages through social media that contain hopes and big dreams which imply that people with disabilities also have physical abilities and expertise equivalent to normal people in general. Various attempts were made, even more so by utilizing social media as a means of proving to the world about "This Is Me"and “I Can Do Anything

Kata Kunci: Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR), Disabilitas, Kesempatan Kerja AbstractThe state has an obligation for its citizens to respect each other's differences, be it cultural, religious, or physical conditions between people. In this world there is no one who is perfect, but there are people who do not have physical conditions like normal people. They are people with disabilities, which are included in vulnerable communities, because they have physical limitations so they feel difficulties related to social functioning. Disability comes from the word disability or disabilities, which means disability. Disability has become an issue that is always listened to by the community but there are also many people who feel they don't care about people with disabilities. Only a few people with disabilities are able to work like normal people, because they find it difficult to get a job especially with physical conditions that can be said to be incomplete, they only work as beggars on the side of the road who are always looking for mercy from the outside community to give him money to continue his daily life. However, not all people with disabilities always become beggars, they are able to continue to live despite their physical limitations, for example finding decent work for them and not always asking for mercy from the wider community. Companies like Alfamart are always active in appointing persons with disabilities as their employees. Alfamart not only employs 0.1% of people with disabilities in his company, but only 0.4% in appointing people with disabilities as employees over the years. So with this CSR, persons with disabilities will be able to become decent workers and be able to carry out their social functioning in the life of the community. Keywords: Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR), Disability, Job Opportunities

This article describes an adapted photovoice study that explored the facilitators and barriers to accessing paratransit services among people with disabilities. This 18-month study involved adults with disabilities developing photovoice stories about their paratransit experiences in Eastern Canada. The photovoice stories represent an in-depth examination of the familial, social, geographical, and environmental factors and their complex association with paratransit services. Distributing the photovoice stories through social media also served as a practical application of health promotion as the process allowed for a broader audience reach to bear witness to the experiences of participants from the disability community. Discussion includes recommendations for developing and sustaining responsive paratransit services with the assertion that persons with disabilities are at the forefront in making informed changes and improvements in ensuring transportation is accessible for everyone.

The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, adopted by the United Nations on December 13, 2006, signed by the Government of Poland on March 20, 2007, and ratified on September 6, 2012, obliges to respect all the provisions contained in this document, including those concerning access to universal education, the labour market and employment. However, from a practical point of view, there are many barriers and problems experienced by different environments of people with disabilities in the enforcement of their rights. Hence, the article includes the opinions of representatives of the deaf and blind people on current restrictions and discrimination, as well as proposals addressed to the education and work and employment spheres of those participating in the debates organized under the project „Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities – a common cause”, the main contractor of which is the Polish Forum of People with Disabilities.

Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) has been signed by Malaysian Government on 8 April 2008. It shows the desire and commitment of the Government of Malaysia to give recognition to the rights of People with Disabilities. The aim of this article is to review the rights to work for Persons with Disabilities under the Federal Constitution and Person with Disabilities Act 2008 in Malaysia. This study will use Legal studies as research methodology and it involved two types of method which is doctrine study of the law and socio-legal studies. The studies showed that the rights to work for PWDs in Malaysia stated as generally in the Federal Constitution and the rights has been detailed in Person With Disabilities Act 2008. The existence of the right to work exclusively under the Person With Disabilities Act 2008 makes those rights not only for normal people but it is also owned by the PWDs. However, the existence of legislation alone is not enough if followed by enforcement. Thus, the improvement in the law and its implementation should be further strengthened through several proposals suggested by this article. It is to ensure the rights of the PWDs to get the job be given serious attention by the community in line with the original purpose of Persons with Disabilities Act 2008 being created.

Research background. According to the United Nations Convention on The Rights of Persons with Disabilities (ratified in Lithuania in 2010), inclusion as well as participation in sports activities enable people with disabilities to disclose their needs as well as create a possibility to raise problems and suggest appropriate solutions. In addition, people with disabilities become more visible and that causes social dialogue between disabled people and “healthy” society. However, disabled people face conditions that either restrict/limit or encourage participating in particular areas. L. Samsonienė et al. (2010) state that participation of disabled people in sports depends on three interrelated groups of factors: health condition, environment (physical and social) as well as individual aspects such as gender, age, motivation, upbringing etc. According to V. Kavaliauskas and J. V. Vaitkevičius (2013), participation in sports activities of disabled people is caused by willingness to enhance their health and by the need of self-actualization. Researchers (Samsonienė et al., 2010; Skučas, 2010; Skučas, Vozbutas, 2008; RuolytėVerschoore, 2012; Požėrienė et al., 2013) show that people with disabilities who take part into some kind of activities are more likely to succeed taking an advantage of opportunities than disabled people who are under-motivated to participate and emphasize environmental restriction as well. The aim of study was to disclose experience as well as attitudes towards participation in sports of disabled participants. Methods. Semi structured interview was used in this study. The sample included twelve people (informants) with physical or sensory disabilities. The essential sampling criterion was experience (current or former) in some kind of sports activities regardless of its professional level. The research was carried out in April-May, 2014. Semi structured interview was based on these guidelines: 1) motives and significance of participation in sports, 2) advantages of participation in sports and factors limiting participation, 3) evaluation of sport organizations as well as qualification of coaches. Analysis of interviews was based both on qualitative content analysis and comparative analysis. Results. Participation of people with disabilities in sports activities is encouraged by friends, relatives, family members; however one of the most important factors is motivation of disabled people. Participation in physical activity leads not only to positive changes in personal health but also to selfrealization and integration/socialization of individuals. However, people with disabilities face internal as well as external obstacles by taking part in sports. One of the most important internal issues is a lack of motivation, health problems, traumas etc. Unsuitable environment for disabled people and low funding/support of sports organizations for people with disabilities limit their opportunities to participate in sports. It is noted that coaches lack communication and working experience with disabled people. Keywords: people with disabilities, participation, sports activities.

Universal Accessible Design in some form is included in the curriculum of all Architecture colleges. This subject is of importance not only from the point of view of compliance, but also for actually providing for the interaction of the Persons with Disabilities with the built environment. A special elective course was framed for architecture students on this subject called ‘Universally Accessible Design’ in an architecture college. The focus of the elective was to create a shift in the minds of the students by emotionally charged pedagogical exercises. The basis of these exercises was the premise that students will make a conscious effort to include Universal Accessibility interventions into the design if they meet and are sensitised towards the experiences of the Persons with disabilities. Along with this, students were made to undergo simulation exercises by themselves using wheelchairs and walking sticks. This was accompanied by case studies and lectures by a disability practitioner. At the end, students were asked to provide a feedback in the form of an anonymous and optional survey. All students agreed to the importance of such special electives for learning Universally Accessible Design. 87.5% stated that the elective has sensitised them towards the people with Disabilities.
