Background : Adolescence is a period that is still experiencing growth, especially the reproductive system with menstruation is supported adequate nutrients. Objective : The aim of this study was to determined  the association of the sufficient of protein, vitamin B12, vitamin C, iron intake, nutritional status with cycle mestruasi on vegetarian adolescent at IVS Jakarta 2017. Method : This design research was observation analytic with cross sectional approach. Sampling technique were used total sampling. The technique of data collection were used menstrual cycle questionnaire, Semi Quantitatif Food Frequency, food model, nutrisurvey, BMI for age. Results : There was 35,71 % respondents have an oligomenorrhea. Food intake (protein, vitamin B12, vitamin C, iron) were inadequate, while vitamin C was intake adequate. Based on statistical analysis of Spearman Rank test, There were significant relation between sufficient intake of protein (p =0,001), sufficient intake of vitamin C (p = 0,003) sufficient intake of iron (p = 0,001) with menstrual cycle. There was no significant relationship between vitamin B12 intake (P = 0.34) nutritional status (P = 0.54) with menstrual cycle. Conclusion : food intake (protein, iron, vitamin C) associated with the menstrual cycle. vitamin B12 intake and nutritional status not associatied with the menstrual cycle.

Background: Menstrual disorders often occur among adolescent girls. Menstrual disorder due to several factor including nutritional status, age, physical activity, nutrients intake, disease, stress and influence of cigarettes . Objective: To examined the association between nutritional status and level of nutrients intake with menstrual cycle among aldolescent in Distric Kedungbanteng Banyumas. Methods: Design research is analytic observation with cross sectional approach. Sampling technique used purposive sampling and obtained 69 respondent adolescent girls. The technique of data colelection used menstrual cycle questionnaire, antropometric, food recall 2x24 jam, food picture and food model. Result: There is 40.6% respondent have an abnormal menstrual cycle. Nutritional status (11.6%) classified abnormal. Energy intake (91.3%), carbohydrate (94.2%) protein intake (89.9%) and fat intake (85.5%) classified an abnormal. Based on analysis of Chi-Square test, there is a significant relation between fat intake with menstrual cycle (p=0.041). Conclusion: Fat intake associated with menstrual cycle..

Infant is one of vulnerable groups that have nutritional problems. High prevalence of nutritional problems could affect nutritional status that become an important concern. The determining factor of nutritional status includes nutritional intake and maternal occupation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal occupation and nutritional intake, with nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months. This study used cross-sectional design, with nutrional status of infants as dependent variable; intake of the food energy sufficiency level and protein sufficiency level. Subject was selected by simple random sampling technique. The interview was conducted on 88 mothers of infants aged 6-12 months, which used questionnaire, form food recall 2x24 hours (breastfeeding and complementary feeeding), and anthropometric measurements (W/L index). Data analyzed used Spearman-Rank test and Coefficient Contingency. The results of this study showed that most of the infants had normal nutritional status (76,1%). Maternal occupation (p=0,025) had correlation with nutritional status. The food energy sufficiency level (p=0,047) had correlation with nutritional status and protein sufficiency level (p=0,016) had correlation with nutritional status. The conclusion of this study is infant who get the sufficiency level of energy and protein sufficiency level adequate has normal nutritional status. Wasting infant tend to have inadequate energy and protein intake. This study suggest mothers to give complementary feeding appropriately the quantity and according to the stage of giving food to infant. Keywords: maternal occupation, nutritional status of infant, the sufficiency level of energy, protein sufficiency level

Hypertension is a disease that affects many older adults, with prevalence increasing every year. Hypertension is caused by nutritional status, diet, and less effective sleep quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status, food intake, and sleep quality, with blood pressure in the age group > 45 years in Posbindu Mawar, Kebayoran Lama Selatan. This study used a cross-sectional method with a sample of 47 people taken by the total sampling technique. Weight and height data were taken by anthropometric measurements, blood pressure data were taken using a Sphygmomanometer, dietary data were taken by interview using the Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire Form and sleep quality data were taken using The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) Questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used the Chi-Square test. This research resulted in high blood pressure (72.7%), poor sleep quality (61.7%), and normal nutritional status (44.7%). The results showed that sodium intake and sleep quality were related to blood pressure (p<0.05). Whereas nutritional status, fat intake, and potassium intake were not related to blood pressure (p>0.05). Based on this research, the advice given is to provide counseling about balanced nutritional eating patterns, weight monitoring so that nutritional status remains controlled and education about psychological health that is often experienced by the elderly and elderly such as anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders. Background: Adolescence is the transition period from children to adults which is characterized by the occurrence of changes in the body that allowed it to reproductive health problems. One of reproductive health problems is menstrual cycle disorders. Menstrual cycle disorder due to several factors including food intake, nutritional status, and stress.Objective: This research supposed to know the association the sufficient of macro-nutrients, nutritional status and stress with the menstrual cycle on adolescent at SMA Negeri Jakarta 21, 2016.Method: This design research is observation analytic with cross sectional approach. Sampling technique used proportionate random sampling and obtained 83 respondents adolescent. The technique of data collection used menstrual cycle questionnaire, DASS 14, food recall 3x24 hours (2 weekdays and 1 weekend), standardized food ingredient photos, and nutrisurvey.Results: There is 68.7% of respondents have an abnormal menstrual cycle. Based on statistical analysis of Chi-Square test, there is a significant relation between sufficient intake of carbohydrates (p=0.030), sufficient intake of protein (p=0.001), sufficient intake of fat (p=0.003), nutritional status (p=0,004), stress (p=0.000) and menstrual cycle. Based on logistic regression test results obtained the factors that most influence the menstrual cycle i.e. nutritional status (OR=20.16).Conclusion: Sufficient intake of macronutrients, nutritional status, and stress can affect menstrual cycle on adolescent, and nutritional status is the dominant factor that can affect the menstrual cycle.

Background : Age under five years is a gold period. In the community, stunted children usually are less aware since they are aware the height of the children in their aged are not serious problem. Objective : The purpose of this study is to analyze the knowledge of mother about stunting and correlation between food intake with nutritional status among stunted children in Bangetayu village, Genuk Municipality, Semarang.Method : The design study was observational with cross sectional approach and the methods took by combination between quantitative and qualitative research methods. Populations study were children aged 1 – 5 years children who live in the study sites. Sampling technique was done by consequtive sampling technique. Sampling frame was taken from data of 6 Posyandu in Bangetayu Wetan Village and 3 Posyandu in Bangetayu Kulon and got 36 subjects. Quantitative data covering respondent characteristics and food intake were analyzed by computer, while the qualitative data were analyzed with content analysis.Result : The results showed that the mothers whose child suffered stunting not too worried about the condition of his child. Stunting is not a serious issue that needs to be handled properly. There was no correlation between food intake with nutritional status among stunted children in Bangetayu. Conclusion : The mother has wrong knowledge about stunting. There was no correlation between food intake with nutritional status among stunted children in Bangetayu.

Background: Cancer is one of the non-communicable diseases characterized by abnormal cell growth. One of the medical-based treatments of this disease is chemotherapy. Chemotherapy decreases appetite which has an impact on the adequacy of nutrients intake, one of which is the adequacy of energy and macronutrients intake. Cancer patients who have undergone chemotherapy usually experience a decrease in food intake which has side effects on decreasing nutritional status.Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between energy and macronutrients (protein, fat, and carbohydrate) intake with the nutritional status of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Rumkital Dr. Ramelan Surabaya.Methods: The design of this research was cross sectional which population were cancer patients who were scheduled to do chemotherapy in April to May 2019 with age ≥19 years old. A total of 75 patients were selected using accidental sampling technique. Data collected included respondents' characteristics through interviews, food intake with 2x24 hours food recall, and nutritional status using Body Mass Index standard from the Ministry of Health 2014.Results: Respondents had adequate energy intake and adequate macronutrients (fat and carbohydrate) intake (≥70% needs), except protein which had inadequate intake (<70% needs). While the nutritional status of respondents were mostly normal (44.00%), overweight (17.30%), and obese (16.00%). There was a significant correlation between macronutrients intake and the nutritional status of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy with a significance of <0.05.Conclusions: There was a correlation between energy and macronutrients (protein, fat, and carbohydrate) intake with the nutritional status of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Rumkital Dr. Ramelan Surabaya.ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kanker merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang ditandai oleh pertumbuhan sel yang tidak normal.Salah satu pengobatan berbasis medis yang dilakukan yaitu kemoterapi.Kemoterapi menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan nafsu makan sehingga berdampak pada kecukupan asupan, salah satunya yaitu kecukupan asupan yang meliputi energi dan zat gizi makro (energi, protein, lemak, dan karbohidrat).Tidak jarang bagi pasien kanker mengalami penurunan asupan terlebih telah menjalani kemoterapi.Dalam jangka panjang hal tersebut memiliki efek samping pada penurunan status gizi di kemudian hari.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara asupan energi dan zat gizi makro dengan status gizi pasien kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi di Rumkital Dr. Ramelan Surabaya.Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien kanker yang dijadwalkan akan melakukan kemoterapi pada bulan April hingga Mei 2019 dengan usia ≥19 tahun. Sebanyak 75 pasien dipilih menjadi sampel dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data karakteristik responden melalui wawancara, asupan makan dengan metode 2x24 hours food recall, serta status gizi berdasarkan berat badan dan tinggi badan menggunakan standar Indeks Massa Tubuh dari Kemenkes 2014.Hasil: Responden memiliki kecukupan asupan yang meliputi energi dan zat gizi makro (lemak dan karbohidrat) dalam kategori adekuat (≥70% kebutuhan), kecuali kecukupan protein yang masih dalam kategori tidak adekuat (<70% kebutuhan). Sementara distribusi status gizi responden sebagian besar normal (44.00%), overweight (17.30%), dan obesitas (16.00%).Adapun terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan zat gizi makro dengan status gizi pasien kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi dengan signifikansi <0.05.Kesimpulan: Ditemukan korelasi atau hubungan antara asupan yang meliputi energi dan zat gizi makro (protein, lemak, dan karbohidrat) dengan status gizi pasien kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi di Rumkital Dr. Ramelan Surabaya.

The toddler period is an important period to determine the quality of the future of the child during this time the development process runs quickly. One of the things we have to ask is the development of toddlers from poor families from the family of BPJS PBI. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that support the development of toddlers in the families of PBI BPJS participants in Balongrejo Village. The research design uses Cross sectional. The study population was all toddler in the BPJS PBI family in Ds. Balongrejo. With a sample of 106 respondents using the Simple Random sampling technique. Independent variables were nutritional status, food intake, infectious disease and knowledge. Dependent variable development of toddlers. The instrument uses questionnaire sheets and observation sheets, analyzed using Ordinal Regression test The results of the study are based on the ordinal regression test simultaneously all variables affect the development with the value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 <0,05, partially the history of infectious diseases and parental knowledge of children under five does not affect development with values. Sig (2-tailed) = 0.148> 0.05 and sig (2-tailed) = 0.996> 0.05, nutritional status and food intake influence the development with the Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 <0,05, nutritional status has a greater influence than food intake. Having a good nutritional status 1.3 times can have the opportunity to improve the development process of toddlers. Providing health education to mothers about the importance of fulfilling nutrition, development, and active posyandu activities can reduce developmental deviations of toddler.

Abstract: A female teenager, puberty is marked by beginning of menstruation, its called the age of menarche. Menstruation should have a reguler cycle that is 21-35 days. Teenagers with less or more nutritional status have the risk of menstrual cycle disorders. Currenly, the health condition in a religious boarding schools are not considered. Whereas most of female students are school-age tenaager, they will be the next generation, that their qualities must be prepared carefully. The purpose of this study is to know the correlation the age of menarche and nutritional status with the menstrual cycle female students in Nurul Huda a religious boarding school for moslem at Malang regency. This study is an correlational-quantitative studies with the cross sectional approach’s. The samples are 50 female students chosen by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis is using the alternative test of chi square test i.e fisher test. The results showed that in the first, 74% female students have age menarche in the normal category (11-13 years old), 74% have a normal nutritional status (BMI 18.5-25.0) and 68% have a normal menstrual cycle (21-25 days). Second, the correlation test showed that there is no correlation between the age of menarche and menstrual cycle, with p-value = 0.082 and there is a significant correlation between the nutritional status and menstruation cycle in female students, with p-value = 0.001(α = 0.05).Keyword: menarche, nutritional status, menstrual cycle, female studentAbstrak: Pada remaja putri, pubertas ditandai dengan permulaan menstruasi yang disebut dengan usia menarche. Menstruasi seharusnya memiliki siklus yang teratur yaitu 21-35 hari. Remaja dengan status gizi kurang ataupun lebih memiliki resiko terjadinya gangguan siklus menstruasi. Saat ini kondisi kesehatan di pondok pesantren masih dipandang sebelah mata. Padahal sebagian besar santri putri di pondok pesantren adalah remaja usia sekolah yang merupakan generasi penerus harapan bangsa yang kualitasnya harus dipersiapkan dengan sebaik-baiknya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan usia menarche dan status gizi dengan siklus menstruasi santri putri di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel adalah 50 orang yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji alternatif chi-square yaitu uji fisher. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: pertama, 74% mengalami menarche kategori usia normal (11-13 tahun), 76% memiliki status gizi kategori normal (IMT 18,5-25,0) dan 68% memiliki siklus menstruasi kategori normal (21-35 hari). Kedua, uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara usia menarche dengan siklus menstruasi santri putri, diketahui nilai p-value = 0,082, sedangkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan siklus menstruasi santri putri p-value = 0,001 (α = 0,05).Kata Kunci: usia menarche, status gizi, siklus menstruasi, santri putri

Menstruation is a natural process in every woman and repeats itself every month. Irregular menstrual cycles are one of the signs of menstrual disorders and can be caused by anxiety. The phenomenon found by female students has anxiety with the final task and the menstrual cycle is not normal. The study's aim to analyze the relationship anxiety levels and the late-level menstrual cycle of St.Vincentius a Paulo College of Health Sciences, Surabaya. Design with correlation studies with a cross-sectional. The sample number was 56 respondents using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Anxiety levels were measured by the Psychometric Properties of The Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42 (DASS 42) questionnaire and the menstrual cycle with menstrual cycle questionnaire. The results showed 38% had very severe anxiety, 23.2% no anxiety, 19.6% severe anxiety, 12.5% moderate anxiety, 7.1% mild anxiety, and more than half (61%) had normal menstrual cycles. Analysis of data with spearman rank test with a value of p = 0.098 (p>0.05) which means there is no relationship between anxiety levels and menstrual cycles in final-level students. Irregular menstrual can be caused by other factors such as weight, physical activity. College students can maintain a diet, regular exercise, and manage self-anxiety.  Keywords : menstrual cycle, anxiety level

Abstract : Pre Menstrual Syndrome (PMS) is a collection of physical symptoms, psychological, and emotions associated with the woman's menstrual cycle and consistently occur during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle due to hormonal changes associated with the current cycle of ovulation (release of eggs from the ovary) and menstruation. Some of the complaints were felt during PMS, such as headache, back pain, breast pain, sleep disorders, and more than a few complaints can cause anxiety in women with PMS. This research was conducted observational analytic with cross sectional method. levels of anxiety and sleep quality in adolescent girls (as dependent variable). The sample used in this research were 30 students. Total sampling is a sampling technique in which the number of samples is equal to the population. there is a significant correlation between the severity of PMS with the level of anxiety. A positive correlation coefficient indicates that the relationship between the severity of PMS with anxiety levels. The more severe or severe PMS level, the level of anxiety is also heavier. Conversely, the mild severity of PMS, the anxiety level is also lighter. There is a significant correlation between the severity of PMS with the quality of sleep.Keywords : severity PMS, level of anxiety, quality sleep, adult Abstrak : Pre Menstrual Syndrome (PMS) merupakan kumpulan gejala fisik, psikologis, dan emosi yang terkait dengan siklus menstruasi wanita dan secara konsisten terjadi selama tahap luteal dari siklus menstruasi akibat perubahan hormonal  yang berhubungan dengan siklus saat ovulasi (pelepasan sel telur dari ovarium) dan menstruasi. Beberapa keluhan yang dirasakan saat PMS yaitu sakit kepala, sakit punggung, nyeri pada payudara, gangguan tidur, dan lain-lain.Akibat dari beberapa keluhan yang dirasakantersebut dapat menimbulkan kecemasan pada wanita yang mengalami PMS. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara observasional analitik dengan metode pendekatan cross sectional. tingkat kecemasan dan kualitas tidur pada remaja putri (sebagai variabel dependen). Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswi. Total sampling adalah teknik pengambilan sampel dimana jumlah sampel sama dengan populasi. terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat keparahan PMS dengan tingkat kecemasan. Koefisien korelasi yang positif menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara tingkat keparahan PMS dengan tingkat kecemasan. Semakin parah atau berat tingkat PMS, maka tingkat kecemasan juga semakin berat. Sebaliknya, semakin ringan tingkat keparahan PMS, maka tingkat kecemasan juga semakin ringan. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat keparahan PMS dengan kualitas tidur.Kata kunci : tingkat keparahan,PMS, tingkat kecemasan, kualitas tidur, remaja.
